Oh yea, after he let the horses out of the pasture via the round pen he comes up to me as if to say,"Thank goodness your back its scary out here". "I don't know what happened".
I paid dearly for trying to find him a special person. For a month I had to hand feed him to get him to eat. I'm bad I still get a good laugh when I think about him putting my neighbor in the horse trailer. She told me I needed to learn how to "control" my horses. Control? Heck he wasn't with me I'd gone to get his halter. That was when I really cracked up. It wouldn't have suprised me if Trooper hadn't figured out how to open the truck door and knocked her truck out of gear, he may have if he could have got the trailer door latched.

He probably sensed her personality and didn't want nothing to do with her. You said you didn't care for her. Animals feel things even more than we do. We see and hear....and they just know because of the energy someone gives off.

YOU GO GIRL !!!! That is MEGA progress. Sounds like your bonding is going well. Love the name Navajo Spice its catchy. Don't worry about touching her head don't even focus on that. The best way I found out to start with the head though is neck scratches working until I can scratch the ears. Shedding time when they are real itchy is the best time to start that.
Try Jeffers Equine. That's where I get all my horse stuff and Sandy likes them to. They have decent prices and halters of every size.
How is Sultan doing? Is he the boss hoss?
Yes, I've been toward the ears some ... for a very tiny moment ... back away and come back to the withers ...
Yup - plan to check that website out shortly ...

Good night SandySu. You are such a good girl to do your exercises.

Good night all. I'm about ready to make a ham sandwich on a bagel and listen for Hubby to moan so that I can make him drink more water:) Hope there is something good on TV.
Dedication! (Sandy)
Lizzie - hope you and hubby are feeling better ...

Good morning!

I slept with a headache and i woke up with 10 times more headache...

Kico come to me i am the tribe's wizard/doctor
witch-doctor.jpg

I'll make you feel good! let me just get my axe and some stones... :D :D

Or you can go to a doctor
LOL! I'm lookin for you now! Woke w/ slightly swollen ankle - the ice actually felt sorta good (I hate ice!)
OMGosh - out in the wind yesterday ... today the signature nauseating sinus headache. What in the heck is in the air south and east of us???? I've read mold spores can travel almost 500 miles on the wind ...

I'll have to catch up a little later ...
Looking for doctor Kon~!

This has been the best investment that I've made so far. I could not believe how clean my mega dual coil cartomizers are now and so fast. In one, the filler was a very dark yellow from many refills of VD's Buttery Nipple. Now the filler is bright white like new again. I have them drying upside down now with some paper towel inserted as Rabbit suggested. Will give an update after they have thoroughly dried and refilled again.

Also on another note, I just got and currently using the new VapeOnly BCC tank that has a flat whistle tip... This thing is amazing and super easy to fill because the tank is wide. It's 510 thread so I have it on an ego twist. After the first couple of priming hits, the flavor and vapor is out of this world. Just love it.

I saw that plunger and wondered about it. I see a few of you have it and like it.
Maybe I'll add that to the list (list is getting long....)

When and if you get it, make sure you get both 510 and 808 attachments if you have different threaded devices. I haven't used it to fill a cartomizer yet, but looking forward to that as well. It will definitely take the guesswork out of it and won't have to worry about overfilling or wasting eliquid.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW !!! Raynes, that is such a beautiful and FUNNY story.

Trooper sounds like one in a million and my kind of horse! :thumb: I don't see how you would be able to give him up.

Oh JoAnn I thought I was doing Trooper a favor. Most of my horses are problem horses like Trooper was when he came here, I wanted him to go to a home where he would get more attention and be happy. Trooper seemed to really like the lady,he was nuzzling her, letting her love all over him. I didn't know it was an act on his part. Guess he showed me. Like I said Trooper could win an Oscar. I won't let a horse go anywhere they don't want to go. I've turned down several offers people wanting horses, either they don't want to take time to work with them here so I can see how the person or the horse relate to each other, or the horse just flat out didn't like them,or they want a horse that I know they can't handle.
Last thing I want is for one of these horses to end up in a slaughter house. They are all rescues and I've had most of them since they were 3mos old. Out of all these yrs I've been able to only part with five of them. I go see them regularly and they have to sign a contract stating if for any reason they can't keep the horse they have to come back to me.

I only have Volt batteries.....so I guess I need 808, right?

Raynes, Biscuits, real butter and cane syrup - sign me up!!!!

Funny you posted that video, Awsum. Wiseguy got out of his pen this morning.

I didn't latch the gate when I went into the pen and the wind blew the gate open. Wiseguy said "Now's my chance." He trotted right on outta there. First stop was the hay shed. The doors are closed but there are tasty crumbs by the door. I walk over with the halter and lead rope so he runs back to the pen.

I calmly walk towards the pen and he runs back out again, kicking up his heels and having a good ole time.

I lock the dogs up and grab a carrot.

He snorts at the carrot like it is a dangerous weapon and runs.

We do that several times with assorted head tossing and wild eyed looks and a couple of bucks thrown in for good measure. Nothing too wild just feeling good about getting out and running.

The last time he arcs out into the back area, makes a big loop, gallops by the propane tank and up the driveway. He zooms around the hay shed and back to his pen.

As soon as I get close he comes out the gate again but I have him cornered now:) I dodge to the left swinging the rope. He turns to the right but there is fencing to keep in from running to the back. He swerves and trots to the left. I dodge to the left again with the arm out and the rope swinging. He feints to the right but I dodge to the right while I laugh at his wily ways.

He gets into the pen and I jog over and close the gate. It is a win for the owner in only 15 minutes.

Bet you were grinning the whole time if you weren't rushed to do something else. (That's the way I am anyway). Nothing makes the heart any lighter than watching a horse having fun

I would imagine it's kind of like dogs. They won't respect someone they can dominate. And if you're not the pack leader they will take advantage. (yeah, my favorite show is the dog whisperer. I have understood soooo much more about my own pack and how they think, watching that show.)

I rinsed out a few 808 cartos last night. They came out white as snow! So glad a small investment pays huge dividends! I checked out that tank, that's next on my vape order list!!!

Tail, I saw your post yesterday....wasn't able to get on and comment. I'm impressed.
Here's my first creations......next to yours they kind of match my "barbie hat".
So add to list: Brown bottles to put e-juice in, new funnel (not barbie hat size), syringe w/needle....and maybe I should get a label maker....that looks cool.

View attachment 177017

Way cool! I actually made three juices yesterday. Lizzie 1, cowboy, and a chocolate Bavarian cream. I kept thinking of Julia Child as I made the Bavarian Cream! ;) You'll have to create your own Barbie hat juice one day! (Still LOL over that) ;)

Love the label maker. I saw Lizzie talking about one awhile back and found one at office depot for 20 bucks. Wise investment.

OH MY, Lizzie... keep your distance! I had the ladies flu a couple of weeks ago, and just as I am starting to recover, DH gets the MAN flu. I do believe the man-flu has a mortality rate, however, I'm doubtful that it's related directly to the illness itself.
Anyway... wear your mask & keep your distance. This flu is not lethal IMO, but it's certainly not any fun.

Morning all!

Welcome Natasha!

Lizzie, I hope your husband feels better soon!

This is the type of doctor that I'm going to only be able to afford. Maybe he takes payments in chickens? :)

Yes, even if I had somewhere to go, and I didn't, I know the best route is to stay calm and work it out. I didn't do much actual chasing. I sauntered over towards the horse and he ran. I sauntered towards where he landed and he ran. I went and got a carrot and locked up the dogs. I sauntered towards him with the carrot and he ran. I kept that up until I had him cornered near the pen and then I busted out the moves to get him to turn and trot into the gate:)

I told Hubby we need to go down and get the lumber for the round pen. I know that the little guy would like to be able to buck and run a bit but I just don't have anywhere for him to do that. We are supposed to finish fencing off the back area. We just need 150 feet of fencing and a couple of big gates but he just hasn't managed to get it done.

I pulled all the poisonous plants out of there so that he could have a safe area to play in so that last stretch of back fencing and the round pen are simply going in this spring and I don't care what it takes.

The other project for this year is a safety fence around the shed doors. I simply cannot have the little guy getting out and getting into the alfalfa or pellet food.

Hubby says, "He doesn't get out." I said "Well, since you and I are only human, it is always a possibility." Today proves that I am only human.

I'm still getting a laugh out of it though.

Man flu....you got that right. My husband always gets it way, way worse than I do. Hmmmm.
Welcome, Natasha, nice to see you again. :)

LOL.... such drama!

For sure, Hubby has the man flu. Hubby is in bed after having a special order breakfast of toast with eggs over medium hard and with special tea after having his sheets changed for him cause he is special and he doesn't feel good.

I would probably end up microwaving some soup and making sure the dog got her meds since Hubby won't remember if I get the lady flu:) Somehow, though, he always thinks he takes great care of me when I am sick.

Well, I am NOT a good nurse, as I have zero patience for people who whine and expect me to hover over them. I am not a person who stays in bed when sick, and I don't expect anyone to get near me and share my germs. SO... I don't "nurse" well. You are a better wife than I!

I don't want to be rude, but you know you can't post in this thread until you have read every post in ALL 2189 pages right? Didn't anyone tell you?

See you in April........just kidding.

Welcome aboard NatashaR!

Mark

LOL... I can speed-read, but this simply has zero chance of happening. And I've seen how fast this thread moves, even if I tried you people would still stay far ahead of me! :)

We have a neighbor who wanted Trooper I don't care for her attitude she's a snob but she takes excellent care of her horses. She came by to look at him and brought her trailer. I'd gone to the barn to get Troop's halter and he had put her in the trailer and closed the door with her in there and was pawing the trailer door. So Trooper will stay here unless he finds that person that he loves more than me.

I have a funny feeling that Trooper does not want to go ANYWHERE. I think he's your horse, for life. What a wonderful story.

Not a joke really. When men get even a slight temp, they are dyin, moaning and can't lift their heads from the pillow and everything has to be taken to them!! Women have more of a tendency to continue working through a raging temperature, doing housework, cooking etc. and will not say a word about not feeling well.

LOL... and here I was just trying not to sound like a mean ole hag, since I'm "new" and some might not appreciate my very warped sense of humor. OK.. Nix that.

I read some posts under the clearomizer thread that suggested the "VapeOnly" brand was made under the major Joytech brand, specifically for the eVic... not sure if that's true but some of them who have the eVic talk about the perfect fit..! It's a possibility, but all I know is they work great on the twist and now working great with adapter on the SI spinner.

I've not tried the tapatalk on my ipad. Need to try that, I suppose.... although the website seems to work fine on the ipad...?
