Good tips Sandy! Years ago I worked for a hotel as a bartender. We were lucky to have a very knowledgeable sommelier on the staff that held frequent tasting training for the staff. We didn't go into cigars, but she was a wealth of info. To this day I see wines that we had tasted and sold.

A good aerator is from Vinturi - http://www.wineenthusiast.com/vintu...CCODE=PGGL10&gclid=CMu3vc-Gv7UCFW3ZQgodHBUAtg . It helps when you are going to drink a good red wine without decanting time.

Thanks for the coffee Lizzie and Good Morning Volties. When I tried to get on this morning, got a message that the ECF forum was being upgraded.. it would take about an hour. It's been an hour so... here I am and Happy President's Day!

While I was waiting to get on, I checked my personal emails and got an email from Got Vapes with a 10% coupon code for today only, so out of boredom (yeah right!) I did a little shopping and got a few more mini T3's. Oh well...

Anyone know how to mix up Peach Ice Cream?

Just a thought! When Wizard Labs gets back up, or try The Flavor Apprentice directly, you could order Vanilla Ice Cream flavor and the jucy peach flavor. Just thinking, I would try 10% Vanilla Ice cream with ONE (1) drop of peach to start and if it is not strong enough, add one drop of peach at a time to perhaps 10 ML. The Vanilla Ice cream is a very mild flavor, and the peach or jucy peach is very strong. More additions may be Bavarian Cream or perhaps Sweet Cream to mellow it out. Sounds yummy!

I emailed Debra about aksing you all if you want to trade email addresses. I have had two other forum sites go out of business and have lost a lot of friend contacts who I chatted with for years, now I can't chat, much less communicate with them in any way at all. If you want to exchange email addresses (among our group, not an open invitation to everyone), just PM me.

I am one of those people that will find a show (finally) that I'm interested in following and get all involved in the story line only to have the show cancelled midstream. Well, it happened with one of my favorite juices now! *cry* I noticed it gone from the lineup on the (unregistered vendor) website but ordered and wrote in the comments section what I actually wanted. Standard procedure when supply is lower than demand. I got a voice mail, "we will not be selling this anymore." I called and coaxed them to mix me up one last bottle, and tried to get the recipe since they will no longer offer it. No dice.

Anyone know how to mix up Peach Ice Cream?

I got the Vanilla Ice Cream and Toasted almond from TFA. I'm trying to create the flavor of the Toasted Almond Ice Cream bar. So far the attempts are not bad, but not really there yet. I figured the Ice Cream would be a mild flavor, maybe I need to add more of the Ice Cream and less of the Toasted almond. New at this DIY stuff. The recipes I have found seem so complicated with so many flavors going on.....just wanted to keep things simple at first. Haven't been able to build up my stock of flavors yet....too many bills. :glare:

Q about shows....I hear ya....either they cancel them, or make me mad. I've been getting into watching WWE with my grandson and just read the results of the Pay Per View matches from last night and the wrestlers that won and it made me mad. So I don't think I'm even going to watch it tonight. (I know, goofy gramma....my husband laughs at me!)

I don't know about those two shows, but I am recording the show called "The Americas" about Russian spys living in the US as regular folks. I also loved the Twilight series and I am waiting for my daughter to send me Twlight Dawn part 1, Part 2 will be out on DVD soon. Don't know why I like vampire movies, I hate blood

I love the Twilight series and I'm also an avid follower of HBO's "True Blood" that is going into the 6th season... can't wait!

"Revolution" is the NBC's new futuristic series about what would happen if all the electricity in the whole world goes out. The second season starts back up in March... Action-packed!

"Game of Thrones" is an original HBO series based on the books by George R.R. Martin. I've read all of the books and so far I like what HBO is doing with it as well.

I love the Twilight series too. Somehow I missed hearing about Revolution. Just checked NBC's site and the previous episodes are available there. Guess I'll make some popcorn tonight and start watching. :)

Like a cheap wabbit, I cancelled HBO. Believe it or not, Comcast reduced my bill by $60.00

My Comcast Triple Play bill went from $139.00 per month to $189.50 last year. I called them immediately and ask "What's Up Doc?
They replied that my "plan period was up" and I am now on regular rates. My answer was, "Just cancel me out! I am going with Dish network". Well after a lot of stuttering and NO Don't DO THAT stuff, they offered me a new plan without a DVR and HBO for my old price of $139.00 per month. I said OK, I will take my DVR back and exchange it. Come to find out they had no more regular boxes so they said keep the DVR and we will not charge you for it. Fine with me! Now I saved $60 and only lost HBO. Unfortunately I loved True Blood also but it was not worth $60 a month to watch it.
