Clairification on trading email addresses

What I ment to say was: If you want to share your email address, just PM each person you wish to share the address with. I will not be making a master list to share. I think each of you will have to decide to whom you wish to share your address with. Also, if you get a PM with a request, and the other party does not wish to share, Just be frank and say so. No Harm No Fowl (Foul) that is a personal matter.

I have shared mine with a couple of you all and we each agreed to keep it private to ourselves, just in case the forum goes dark or we desire to communicate outside of the forum.

Love you all

I still can't believe I pay to watch TV and I would probably just have local channels if Hubby wasn't adamant that we need DirectTV - he will not accept less.

I'll PM you later Bunny Man.

Gotta go to work, hit the grocery store and then some chores when I get home. At least I am almost ready to buy my round pen poles. That is a lot of incentive to go out there and make a little money cleaning a house and save a little money when I hit the grocery store:)

Like a cheap wabbit, I cancelled HBO. Believe it or not, Comcast reduced my bill by $60.00

My Comcast Triple Play bill went from $139.00 per month to $189.50 last year. I called them immediately and ask "What's Up Doc?
They replied that my "plan period was up" and I am now on regular rates. My answer was, "Just cancel me out! I am going with Dish network". Well after a lot of stuttering and NO Don't DO THAT stuff, they offered me a new plan without a DVR and HBO for my old price of $139.00 per month. I said OK, I will take my DVR back and exchange it. Come to find out they had no more regular boxes so they said keep the DVR and we will not charge you for it. Fine with me! Now I saved $60 and only lost HBO. Unfortunately I loved True Blood also but it was not worth $60 a month to watch it.

Me and husband were just discussing what things to drop. We only pay $80 on the cable and internet, but we don't have anything special, so nothing can be dropped. I could probably live without the tv but not the internet and he could live without the internet (or so he thinks) but not the tv. So can't do that. Can't drop the cell phones because we dropped the land line years ago. Not much of a credit card bill....got that down years ago. Gotta have electric, gas and water....And the house payment (stupid upside down house....not worth what its mortgaged for now that's for sure). I guess I could just vape and not eat....but he doesn't vape or smoke, so I'd have to feed him anyway.
I don't know where the gov't, employers, companies expect the middle class to come up with the money for all these increases. Took a pay cut at work (oh they don't call it a pay cut....it's an increased contribution to medical and retirement - 10%!!), gas prices going up, groceries prices are up, Gov't let the payroll tax expire....that's 2% increase. Couldn't anyone have taken the time to think this thing out? I thought the tax increases weren't suppose to hurt the middle class....hmmmm....couldn't be that it was a lie along.....
Sorry, end of rant.
Just want to pack the car and head somewhere tropical....but, sigh....it's more expensive to live in tropical places I suppose. :?:
And the job market is still bad, so.....
I said end of rant didn't I. We'll figure it out....always do. :)

I've lost over 20% of my salary as a city employee. They have given us a horrible medical plan so I don't go to the doctor much anymore because I can't afford the co pays. My city is filing for bankruptcy and so they have cut us to the bare bones and have furloughed us now for 4 years with at least another to go. What makes it even worse is the city newspaper has a columnist that hates city employees and claim we have been on the gravy train. Funny how it works, when the economy was good, we never saw pay raises and nobody said anything. We Americans always point fingers at the wrong people for some reason.

I've cut back as much as I can. I love Directv and had the super duper package, but that was the first thing I had to cut down on. I thought I'd die without HBO and Showtime, but I'm doing fine without it. I do have an Amazon Prime membership so I can watch movies and TV shows.

I've always wanted to live in Belize. I hear it's cheap there ;)

This Belize? Central America?

"Belize was the site of several Mayan city states until their decline at the end of the first millennium A.D.
Total Area: 22,966 sq km
Population: Migration continues to transform Belize's population. About 16% of Belizeans live abroad, while immigrants constitute approximately 15% of Belize's population. Belizeans seeking job and educational opportunities have preferred to emigrate to the United States rather than former colonizer Great Britain because of the United States' closer proximity and stronger trade ties with Belize. Belizeans also emigrate to Canada, Mexico, and English-speaking Caribbean countries. The emigration of a large share of Creoles (Afro-Belizeans) and the influx of Central American immigrants, mainly Guatemalans, Salvadorans, and Hondurans, has changed Belize's ethnic composition. Mestizos have become the largest ethnic group, and Belize now has more native Spanish speakers than English or Creole speakers, despite English being the official language. In addition, Central American immigrants are establishing new communities in rural areas, which contrasts with the urbanization trend seen in neighboring countries. Recently, Chinese, European, and North American immigrants have become more frequent."

Hmmm....would be tropical, I suppose.

I haggled the same way with them... dropping all premium channels except HBO. I threatened to drop the internet service as well. Now I'm saving about $60 a month just for letting two other premium channels go. Just have to keep HBO and, of course, internet service! :)

I was looking it up and we must have posted back to back.
I know I like to watch House Hunters International and wonder what it would be like to just pick up and live in another country. Would be an adventure that's for sure.

I know of several people who moved to Costa Rica. I think it would be difficult to get used to another culture. Maybe living there would be cheaper, but I bet there are other problems that would make it no easier than living in the US. I think I want to stay put.

Boy, do we all have the same problems or what? I am Soooooooo glad I am retired, but inflation is still a worry somewhat. You just never know how much money is "enough". Will I live to be 80?, 90?, 100? (and still vaping?) That would be fantastic if the money, health, and friends hold out. (PS: I need my wife to last also. Don't know what I would do without her)

I am not really a "cheap wabbit", but I hate to waste money. I want value for my bucks. My father in law always said "You will never be dissatisfied with the best", but most of the time I buy the lower cost items and end up purchasing the best later on. I just never learn

Don't know about the rest of you, but I can't wait until Spring when I can get my lazy .... off of this chair and computer and work in my garden, kayak, fish, and get OUTSIDE! I don't like cold weather, but Mrs. Wabbit will not move South. If I had my way I would be living at "The Vilages" in Florida.

Having lived abroad, I think I could get used to a new culture. As long as I have an internet connect and some english speaking television stations, I'd be ok. When I lived in Europe, I rarely watched TV, unless I was in an English speaking country. But I still didn't watch that much because even though they were speaking English, their accents made it hard to follow. :)

I've learned I'm better off buying the more costlier products because they do last longer. Cheap means cheap these days. Although most of the stuff coming out of China seems to always fail 3 days after the warranty expires. :(

Well I would say with the exception of the Volt products. A couple of my little 78s are just now starting to lose power. Only lasting 2 hours now, instead of 4 or 5. 6 months old. Still working, tho. Good products.

I wouldn't want to live in a foreign country but wouldn't mind visiting now and then. Actually I love going on cruises, but now... every time I think about booking one... something happens. First the Costa Concordia then being stuck in the middle of the gulf because of an onboard fire... without water, food or toilets... keeps coming to mind.

The added benefit to this is Smokeless Image stands behind their products. Once, I received a manual X2 that was DOA but SI immediately sent out a replacement and I didn't even have to return the dud. They are the best.

Just a thought! When Wizard Labs gets back up, or try The Flavor Apprentice directly, you could order Vanilla Ice Cream flavor and the jucy peach flavor. Just thinking, I would try 10% Vanilla Ice cream with ONE (1) drop of peach to start and if it is not strong enough, add one drop of peach at a time to perhaps 10 ML. The Vanilla Ice cream is a very mild flavor, and the peach or jucy peach is very strong. More additions may be Bavarian Cream or perhaps Sweet Cream to mellow it out. Sounds yummy!

Thank you Rabbit, I am making note of your advice and have been collecting flavorings and DIY supplies for just in case. Now I just have to get myself to try from scratch. This is probably the push I needed!

Look who hopped in the door - its the Wabbit!!!!!

Hi Q -

Hi DW

Hi Lizzie! Have to tell you, you inspire me to get my .... off the chair and get moving. You would make a good coach or personal trainer!

I got the Vanilla Ice Cream and Toasted almond from TFA. I'm trying to create the flavor of the Toasted Almond Ice Cream bar. So far the attempts are not bad, but not really there yet. I figured the Ice Cream would be a mild flavor, maybe I need to add more of the Ice Cream and less of the Toasted almond. New at this DIY stuff. The recipes I have found seem so complicated with so many flavors going on.....just wanted to keep things simple at first. Haven't been able to build up my stock of flavors yet....too many bills. :glare:

Q about shows....I hear ya....either they cancel them, or make me mad. I've been getting into watching WWE with my grandson and just read the results of the Pay Per View matches from last night and the wrestlers that won and it made me mad. So I don't think I'm even going to watch it tonight. (I know, goofy gramma....my husband laughs at me!)

Is the vanilla ice cream flavor sweet by itself? I am so clueless about mixing, but I do notice that most of my favorites are sweet.

No such thing as a goofy Gramma! Grammas get to be any way they want and not have to worry about things like goofy or silly. That's my spin on it anyway, and I should know lol, my grandson calls me Gram-na-nanna!

Speaking about shows... just out of curiosity... anyone into "Revolution" or "Game of Thrones"?

I love the Fire and Ice Series, read all the books and had no idea it was a tv series. I have watched a few of the episodes, but we don't have HBO so I can't really follow them. I am usually disappointed when a book is made into a movie or show. I know they can't be true to every detail, but somehow the things I would have kept in the show are always left out for things that 'they' decide need to stay.

I rarely watch anything on tv, I just watch individual episodes from the network websites. I can't keep track of the days and times for shows, so I just watch them when I feel like it, or remember. There are a few websites that offer streaming of shows on the extra cable channels. My son follows Walking Dead and his cheapo internet package doesn't include the channel, he found it online, it's a watch while streaming type of thing, not a download. If anyone is interested in that website, let me know an I will pm you the link.

I apparently forgot to click to answer about the email addresses in case of losing this site. Does anyone have skype? It would be easy to create a group for chat there. I have one group that has been going on for a couple of years and we use it sort of like a message board as opposed to individual chats. I can just leave my "posts" whenever I am ready and read up what anyone else has left. Just a thought I wanted to share because I was a member of a website 'family' that over time sort of migrated off the site and still wanted to stay in touch easily. Skype is free and easy and safe if you only add trusted friends.

That's about all I can remember that I wanted to address, sorry if I missed something. Other than that, have a great day Volties!!!

Missing Rave and Blues, but continued good thoughts and prayers being sent!!

Yeah I had a problem with my first X2, too. Actually the replacement had a problem, too, but Heather kept working with me and finally pulled its final replacement out of the box and tested it for a day to make sure it was good. It's still going good.
You know tho, my lastest lime green one is weird. It works fine...lasts a good while, but takes longer to charge than it lasts. Don't want to send it back, because it works ok, but its just different. Usually they last longer than it takes to charge them (I have 4 now).
I guess its just like your kids.....everyone is just different.

Needs sweetener. I've been messing around with that. The DIY threads say you can kill the flavor if you add too much. I tried a little and a lot of sweetener....I like sweet anyway, and must have added too much because I didn't notice it being sweeter with more. Smelled nice, tho. I have bubblegum, too. That is good. I think I just did 15% bubblegum and 5 drops of sweetener. Turned out decent. (6 mg nic/15 ml bottle) Haven't tried the Ice Cream by itself. I probably should have done that first.
I have to get more flavors.....that's all there is to it. And larger bottles of them, too. I just got the small bottles because I wanted to see what I would like. The Apple is ok. I added a little of the Sinnabun to it.
My computer is too old and too full to skype....and no camera. We've done it on my husband's computer....but I don't think I'd want to make him give up his computer. If we weren't all so far away from each other, we could have a vape meet. I'm sorry I didn't get to that one in Michigan. It was a little far, and my husband had just had surgery and didn't want to leave him. Next one, tho.....if they have another one.

Gram-na-nanna!.....funny.

You have a nice day, too. I have to get off. Have to run some errands. :)

One of the things that I like about the spinners... they charge so much faster. A completely drained 1300 spinner fully charges in 3 hours. Much faster than a 650 X2.
