Great, we're looking at ANOTHER 6-12" of snow (maybe more? less? a blizzard? rain? who knows lol) Much as I love sitting here, drinking vanilla chai or vanilla-caramel coffee while vaping vanilla (gee, can ya tell I kind of like vanilla? ha!) while watching it snow, at least I don't have to shovel rain. But I am NOT complaining about it, as we're in a severe drought and every drop of moisture we get is welcome.

Oh, definitely from the men's line- I'm 6' tall with a big frame, so women's stuff just won't do. :D And no, I don't have any relatives in MN that I'm aware of (I think the town you're thinking of is Oberlin). I didn't bother climbing out a window- just said (*&%^ it and went out the front door instead of the back...I figure I'll probably see my truck again sometime in May. Ha! :p
Hmm! I'll have to introduce you to my bro! He's 6'8"! (kidding! Don't panic!) I think it was '96 - had so much snow - big banks pushed up - snow blowers cut thru drifts so high you couldn't see a 4wheel drive truck in those passes! I think the last of the snow finally melted early July! It was a cooler spring and cool start to summer! But ...

Deer hunting - Tail you reminded me of a time when we were headed to the MIL's for the weekend. We were going to join a cousin bow hunting in that area ... saw a few deer along the highway ... hubby stopped - strung his bow and sneaked thru the corn. Just happen to hit it near throatlatch - it dropped right there. Well I recall the warm slimey liver as we drug it back to the road. Thank God for the guy that came along to help get the thing into the trunk! My arm are my weakest point - I couldn't get my end up high enough!

G'nite Sandy! Very pretty sunset! You've inspired me to buy a Nikon L810 to start taking pictures again. I'm the webmaster for my motorcycle club and I have to take photos because no one else bothers to. My poor little Kodak camera has seen better days, but I can pull it out while I'm riding and snap some pictures while were rolling.
LOL! becareful doing that! I got so caught up in trying to catch a couple deer I was following with the camera ... I drove just off the edge of the driveway into the snow. Hubby had to come pull me out! (Still can't believe I did that!)

Nice Pic Awsum! Hope you didn't miss Raynes hint!
Sandy - that is a rather intriguing "angle" in that pic! It feels like your being pulled into it!

Almost caught up w/ y'all again today! I was out having some fun in the bobcat pushing snow 3 hours! Hee hee! Power slides on ice are toooo much fun! Decided I'd better settle down before I did something really stupid - like run into my brother on the big tractor!!! ... off to water the kids ... I'm sure they are getting low since I'm usually out there by noon ...

Uncle - your nephew is one lucky guy! Looks like he must have cut his hand - good thing he wasn't knocked unconscience .....
I take it you saw the news of it huh ... sorry ...

Raynes - that is great to know about - I've heard honey (in your area) is good for the immune system. I've also heard ANY area ...

ETA: Wabbit - thanks for clarifying the recipe ... and the Where to purchase!

I'm so glad you are feeling better. That's a long time to carry a fever! I always keep honey on the shelf. It's great for so many things. Also, a bit of ginger mixed in helps too.

Another bit of info: manuka honey... a different type of honey with antibacterial benefits... only made in New Zealand. It can be ordered from Amazon.

The Miraculous Manuka Honey

I thought all honey was antibacterial, so I looked it up. Apparently this kind of honey and a kind called medical honey are more so. It depends on the type of bees and the types of flowers they feed on, but all honey does have some antibacterial properties. What was interesting about the stuff I read is, honey can kill bacteria that has become resistant to antibiotics. They think it's because honey has a number of antibacterial properties, and germs can't mutate to become resistant to them all.

Lzzie, what I liked about ordering direct from The Flavor Apprentice is the larger sizes 15 ML for $3.50. At Wizard Labs, you only get 5 ML for $1.50 so it is slightly cheaper if you find a flavor that you use a lot of. I have been experimenting this AM, since I love my peach an orange mix. I diluted the Peach and Orange, one drop to 10 drops of plain VG, then added one drop of the mix into 5 ML of my mixed RY4. So far it is a very very mild addition and works to add a little peach/orange tang to the RY4.

Today starts another week of cooking at our Church Homeless Shelter, so I need to eat some lunch, take a nap, and then head to cook up some hams, with chicken salad, left over soup from our Church soup sale, mac and cheese and green beans. These guys who are homeless love this meal.

Hope you don't mind the correction but WL flavors are 8ml. The empty bottles are ideal for mixing small batches for testing.

When my kids were little and had a bad cold, if they woke up coughing in the middle of the night, I would give them a teaspoon of honey which stopped the hacking cough and they would go back to sleep. So did the rest of us.

I stand corrected !

Buying direct from The Flavor Apprentice (TFA) seems to be more expensive. I have no idea why. However Wizard Labs is out of almost everything due to their move. When they open again, it seems that it is better to order two bottles of an 8 oz flavor at $1.49 each than ordering one 15 ML bottle direct from The Flavor Apprentice site at $3.80. How Wizard Labs can sell TFA flavors at a discount is beyond me, unless they are not an "original" Flavor Apprentice product but a knock off.

Some things about "The Old Days" were absolutely great. The teaspoon of honey was one of them. Some things about those days were not like mom putting mercurochrome or merthiolate on your cuts and scrapes. Now that was child abuse.

I believe they're genuine. They prolly buy in quanity and repackage them. I'll ask Monday when I go over there to pick up my order. Can't wait to meet them and see their new facility. Good Christian people. I'll be glad when they get fully restocked.

Honey is a natural dissinfectant, you can use it on wounds etc.
If you have a sore throat from the cold the best combination is chamomile tea (we gather our own here it's better) with honey.
2-3 cups and you are repaired.

Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties.

You're absolutely right! Love it before bedtime, helps you to sleep. It's great for stomach upsets too.

You're buying 30 ML of bannana? Just how much of bannana juice are you planning on making? At 15% flavoring you could make 200 ML of bannana juice! Thats a lot of bannana bending:ohmy: AND if you vaped 2 ML of bannana per day you could vape on that for over three months.

I am pretty sure TFA stands for The Flavor Apprentice and The Perfumers Apprentice website sells both flavors and scents.

This evening's picture is not one taken by me, since I'm in it. This is Penny & me at a dressage clinic back in our heyday. We never got to the high levels that you've seen in the musical rides I've posted, but we worked hard at it and advanced at our own modest snail's pace.

JoAnn- ditto on the red stuff! Methiolate? (Sp?)

FarmGirl - looks like your shovel is going to get another workout! Let's hope you find your truck before August!

RAYNES! SURE hope your feeling back to 100% real soon!
Also hope your not in the flood / tornado watch area! Are you north or south 1/2 of Alabama?

Well I guess When I leave the house the ecigs better just stay inside. Spent the rest of the aftrnoon cleaning the horse barn - the safety bar is just close enuf to bump it on the lanyard - separating the clearo right where the plastic & base meet. Good thing there was little juice in it.

My kiddo was just hooking up w/ my sis & her hubby out in Ohio a few minutes ago. Lucky duck! BIL decided to go w/ the crave ecigs. Hope kiddo will reconsider

Have a goodnight all ... Good day to you Deb!
