CHIT CHAT in VOLTVILLE

I won't quote all the replies, but I appreciate the opinions and affirmation. It sounds like a manual Volt Spinner with T3s to start, which are mostly a well-received combo, and the notion that adapters will generally work well.

Cindy, ditto on the shorter tanks, ditto on the regulated batts and double ditto on SI's cartos! I'm a carto girl too and SI cartos are simply the best.

My first attempt at vaping was with the 3 piece 510 stick batts and only lasted 3 months. Then May first in 2011 I started again with eGos and was doing better. August 2011 I got a Volt Pro Kit and that's when I finally committed to vaping. I love Volts. But I bought a Twist and a Vision's Spinner to try VV and love them. When Volt Spinners came out I bought them and have 3 now.

I use all my stuff: the eGos, the Vision Spinner, Volt 65mm, 78mm, X2s, and Spinners. My preference is 808 Volt batts but I have no problem mixing in some of the 510 batts. I never found a 510 carto that compares to SI's though. A collection of adapters means I can use the best of both worlds.

The reason I love the VV batts is not for higher voltages but for the lower ones. So I have no desire for the bigger and more complicated VVs. Spinners are all I need.

Just a bit of trivia I guess, but I'm still using my unsealed stick batts. So far just one of them has died......the pink one. I think I just wore it out. The very first Volts I got were a silver manual and a light blue 65mm auto. I still have them and they both still work fine. *knock on wood* The probable reason for their long life is that I have a crap load of batteries, use 6 or more every day and switch around.

There is a problem with that...there would be no night unless you traveled to the side facing away from the sun or the disk/rectangle rotated on some axis. Then there's the problem of me trying to climb over the edge!

As long as we're flattening the world, let's just keep the sun in a fixed position connected to some sort of dimmer switch. Of course, without the axial rotation, we'll also need velcro shoes to keep from floating away...

I think the mass would be large enough, planetary sized mass of course, to keep us from needing Velcro shoes. I've always wondered about the rotation causing gravity, angular acceleration usually results in unattached objects flying away. The rotation keeps us from being too heavy...now I we could speed up that rotation diets wouldn't be needed! Hmmm, something for Weight Watchers and NASA to collaborate on.

Someone said they liked yellow flowers, so here's another one -- another hibiscus.

thanks for the welcome and the suggestions. Will keep trying. I love the Volt so want to keep trying items that fit it. Did someone say that SI is coming out with another tank less than 2 Mls....I don't really like the bigger ones that hold a lot of juice....not sure why LOL....seems like juice tastes different after its been in there awhile....might be just me though.
what size am I looking for when shopping for the smaller cig size and threading?

one more question.....if you have lots of cartons or tanks going at one time how do you mark them to know what flavors you have in them? Mixed some up and came up with a couple that weren't bad....some terrible...ha.....but don't know what was in the good ones.....guess I am going to have to find some kind of marking device or something.

I bought a package of multi-colored map dot stickers on Amazon. Stick a diff colored dot on each bottle of liq, matching dot on carto or tank. Even small plain labels you could write on would work on cartos or tanks. Or even a label maker.
Some othes have said they use diff colored finger-nail polish or perm markers. I like the dots as I can remove and re-label as life changes.

The threading is KR808D-1 (often just 808, but there are/were apparently some other iterations). For volume, the regular SI cartomizers hold 1mL, as, I believe do the CE3 and NANO. These have the appropriate diameter to match your smaller batteries. The new T3s hold 3mL, but in a few weeks they should have a 1.5mL mini version, and I believe this is what you'd asked about, but it is a bit wider, to match the X2s and Spinners, so might look a little odd on a 65mm/78mm battery.

For cartomizers, I bought the Multicolor End Caps from SI, under Accessories. There are two color sets, 5 each. Originally, I thought I'd make some sort of list to remind myself which flavor I had with which color, but I've found I'm able to remember it on my own. I haven't had multiple tanks at once, so I don't have any advice, there.

I broke down and bought a P=Touch labeler. Now all my CE3s, clearos and T3s have a real label that's easy to read. It also lets me label my DIY mixes with a flavors name and the flavor contents and percentages. I tried the colored dot method and lost my cheat sheet :(

Today, I cleaned out a ton of odd juice mixings that had been steeping long enough to find out they tasted like :nah:

Since I have my favorites cut down to four and I mix three of them myself and the last is a purchased juice, I don't need labels any more. I will probably still try some experimentation, but for now my own RY4, Sin Danish, Peach/Orange, and Black Magic keep me very vape happy. Going to sign off for the night, the wife and I are starting to watch the new Bible Series on the History Channel tonight. Our minister will be preaching on the series for 5 weeks.

Have a great week friends

I got a label maker, too. It was a fairly cheap one, but I decided to do that after finding out that writing on the cartos smeared, and on lots of advice here. It was easy to use, and my cartos are all labeled. Not pretty, but I know what's in what. Some people, Rave, for instance, made really lovely labels with a label maker you could hook up to a PC and add decorations, etc.

Speaking of Rave, I miss her. I wish she'd come back. Rave, are you there? Would you post again those photos you took of the way you decorated your cartos?

More spring flowers. Lilacs smell so wonderful.

I got an e-mail from the barn owner. She's been checking Penny and Penny seems to be doing fine. I was going to go see her tomorrow, but it sounds like I don't need to, so I'll go Wednesday. Penny had some ice stuck to the hair on her side where she was lying in the snow so long, and I tried to get it off but left some when Penny seemed restless. I wasn't sure if she was hurting or if she just wanted to get back out to her friends. I think the latter, but I decided not to push it right after her rescue. I'm glad she decided to do such a stupid thing on a weekend when everyone was home to get her up.

With me the dots kept peeling off. Guess I shoulda taped over them too. Did the neon orthodontic elastic bands for awhile though. Those were fun, cuz you could stack the colors and get neon-striped cartos. :)
