And still with that ugly tip profile.But it does look better in metal.
I'm really liking these shorter tanks that are coming out. They look so much better proportioned, and the extra capacity on the taller ones is completely lost on me - I'm sick of the flavor before I even get to the bottom!

I used to say the same thing about my 78s. But ever since I switched to 650 X2s, they've gotten NO LOVE. They're all just sitting there now, waiting to get used. It's so much easier to just grab a fat batt and a cable and go, than to prep 5 78s and make sure they're all charged. My next batteries going forward will be Spinners. The last X2 I got runs a little hot, which kinda singes my cartos, but makes my T3s work a little better (hotter would probably be even better). How nice it would be to be able to tune it up or down depending on your delivery device, your flavor, etc. - well worth the extra $5 (over an X2 - OK, $10 with the special charger), IMO. So if you're on the fence between a Spinner and an X2,...
As far as pigeon-holing yourself with the 808 threading, it's true that almost all of the fancy new delivery devices that come out will be for 510/eGo threading (unless we can talk SI into carrying it too), but there's a lot to be said for the joy of regulated voltage batteries. Not many other brands do that to their batteries. I started out with non-regulated batts (start out really hot, then quickly wane to almost nothing) and they were not fun. If you like cartos (like I do - I'm a carto girl), Volt cartos are the best out there - won't use anybody else's. And like JoAnn said, there are adapters galore that many people have had good luck with (especially with the manual batts - some have had problems with autos).

Cindy, ditto on the shorter tanks, ditto on the regulated batts and double ditto on SI's cartos! I'm a carto girl too and SI cartos are simply the best.
My first attempt at vaping was with the 3 piece 510 stick batts and only lasted 3 months. Then May first in 2011 I started again with eGos and was doing better. August 2011 I got a Volt Pro Kit and that's when I finally committed to vaping. I love Volts. But I bought a Twist and a Vision's Spinner to try VV and love them. When Volt Spinners came out I bought them and have 3 now.
I use all my stuff: the eGos, the Vision Spinner, Volt 65mm, 78mm, X2s, and Spinners. My preference is 808 Volt batts but I have no problem mixing in some of the 510 batts. I never found a 510 carto that compares to SI's though. A collection of adapters means I can use the best of both worlds.
The reason I love the VV batts is not for higher voltages but for the lower ones. So I have no desire for the bigger and more complicated VVs. Spinners are all I need.
Just a bit of trivia I guess, but I'm still using my unsealed stick batts. So far just one of them has died......the pink one. I think I just wore it out. The very first Volts I got were a silver manual and a light blue 65mm auto. I still have them and they both still work fine. *knock on wood* The probable reason for their long life is that I have a crap load of batteries, use 6 or more every day and switch around.

It is raining!!!! So happy. Hope we have it rain all day. Finally started the wood stove since it isn't going to warm up in here with all this cloud cover. In the mid forties overnight outside. Supposed to hit 55 degrees today but down to 30 tomorrow night. We shall see.
Okay, I have the banana bread ready to mix. I like to organize all the eggs and milk and such, measure out all the ingredients, do all the sifting and then just stand at the mixer and add things one at a time. I was short on bananas to make 2 loaves so I got out some melon from the freezer to bump the fruit up to 2 cups.
Unfortunately, one often has to change the settings on one's own buttons to get positive results in training whatever animla you are dealing with including husbandsSandSu, how scary. Poor Penny. new to the Volt...love it so far. also have an ego-c and ego twist used mostly at home.
tried that Nano tank and liked it very much.....not crazy about taste of juice in carto....seems the cotton mutes my flavors.
What do most people here use for cartomizers, clearomizers or tanks on their Volts?

Oh my SandySu, what a scare you've had! You are so intuned to what Penny needs that you will be able to judge if she will need medications to make her more comfortable. You know horses so well and because you keep her in great physical and mental condition, I'm sure she will be just fine.
I'm with you on this too. The only reason that I would consider getting a more "advanced" mechanical device is to have at least one that uses replaceable/rechargable batteries. This because of the uncertainty of the future of ecigarettes...
Hello Joie and welcome to SI's subforum. The Volts are great for on the go and the more cig-a-like feel, the X2's are the larger ego type batteries but they are all regulated excellent quality products. As for the juice delivery systems, each person has their personal favorites. I would suggest trying at least one of each to find the right one for you. Good luck and enjoy your vaping journey.
Welcome to Voltville - I have used the Nanos, the CE3s and the cartos. In fact, I still use all three of them. Since the cartos are refillable, I like to refill and then put the condoms back on. That keeps them moist. I love those for when I am out and about with my Volt. Looks so much like a regular ciggie.
The Ce3s are very nice but you do have to refill them using a syringe. It isn't quite as icky as that sounds and they are very durable.
The Nanos are easy to fill. I haven't had too many problems with them. One leaked on me right away and I ended up tossing it. All the rest have been fine. I did get a stress crack in a couple of them but I used clear nail polish on the cracks and they are still going strong.
IMHO that gives you quite a few options for those cute little Volts.

OK, not watching TV, I never watched this guy, so I finally broke down and watched some of his videos on YouTube. There was one about training a dog not to be afraid of the sound of fireworks on the 4th of July. It was interesting that he didn't pet the dog till way into the video when the dog had been distracted from the sound and calmed down. This is so much like I've read about horses. If a horse is excited or scared, don't pet it to calm it down, because your petting rewards the behavior of being excited or scared. Instead, distract the horse by giving him a job, some exercise he knows well, like a leg yield or something. Interesting how it all fits together.
Again, it's so much like horses. I think it's because both dogs and horses live in a pack/herd environment, so they have a pecking order, and the human has to be at the top of that order. Both know that someone has to be the top dog, and if it's not the human, it'll be the animal.

Did you fall off? If it's just riding that hurts so much, maybe you should get some pointers on how to move with the horse so you aren't so sore. When the horse trots, you can rise up in the stirrups and then sit back in time to it so it's not so bumpy. It's called posting. Actually, though your seat leaves the saddle, you rise forward more than up. So it's sort of a forward-and-back motion. Time it to the footfalls of the horse. A trot is a 2-beat gait, so you'll hear his hooves going clip-clop. Go up on clip and down on clop, and practice the timing of it till you're right in synch, and you'll be a lot more comfortable. Hold the mane or saddle at first to steady yourself till you get strong and coordinated enough to do it with no hands. Don't use the reins to pull yourself up. Here's a short video showing you how. Don't worry about diagonals till you master the timing. It's too much to think about all at once. And if you're not in a ring or making a circle, diagonals don't matter.
No i finally get better on riding. We were on rough terrain and the guys in the front started running, i wasn't ready but the horse started running and jumping rocks. I was shot up and then landed ....-tail first on the back edge of the saddle. I am now on my bed and still hurts a lot.
Plus my bad knee was already damaged from a yamaha XT (good old times) and i could not even walk after the ride was over.
Note: My horse has a Rev limiter (no balls)
Seems like the Yamaha is more controllable.

That's bad when the people ahead just take off without warning you! It's considered rude to do that on a trail ride. There are a bunch of rules for trail riding like that which keep things safe and comfortable. And one of the first rules is to not go faster than the poorest rider of the group can go, and another is to announce it before changing gaits, either to go faster or slow down. Another is to keep at least a horse length between your horse and the one ahead of you so the horse in front isn't tempted to kick your horse (or you). Another is to announce it if you want to pass the horse ahead so the rider can get ready to control his horse.

I'm impressed! I'm really getting into this hula hoop thing. I wish I was so nimble and nubile. This is a good example of what I was saying earlier about making different parts of your body do things simultaneously.
