Sitting down, facing forward.
Try this one -

On the video you want to post, right click on the video itself, then select (left click) "copy video URL". Come back to your post and click on the third icon from the right, the video icon. On that screen, right click on the text box and select (left click) "paste".

Just as an FYI for those that are having a problem or might be interested . . .

Okay . . . When you want to post something - Like a You Tube Video

In the "Reply to Thread" / "Quick Reply" box on the bottom of the Thread page . . .

Look Up There ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ All Those Icons . . .

See the "Box" to the right with "Six Icons" all nestled together . . .
(Or if "You" are in "Go Advanced" mode they are on the 2nd row - 4th box over with 5 Icons nesstled together . . .;))

Well these are used to insert different things into a post . . .

First Icon: Post a link to another post or to something you want people to read or see . . .

Second Icon: To send something via Email

Third Icon: To break a link to a post or outside source

Fourth Icon: To Insert an Image in your post from Your Computer or From a specific URL/Website

Fifth Icon: To Insert a Video in your post from a Specific URL/Website
* * * * * BING BING BING (Insert Image of Bell Ringing here) This is the one You want to use when you want to insert a You Tube Video ;)

Sixth Icon: Wrap a Quote Tag around some specific information and/or text

Hope this information helps . . . :D

I have a Mac. I don't right click, etc. I'll try to figure it out.

Uncle, I found the correct icon, clicked on it, copied the URL from YouTube, pasted it in the little box where it said to, and then hit OK or whatever. The message came up with a faulty URL and no box with the picture in it that you click on like everyone else's. I'll play with it some and see if I can figure it out. If not, posting a link seems to work just fine.

That's one of the reason I always use the "Go Advance" mode when I am inserting anything into a post . . . AND - If you use this option you can preview everything and make sure what you want to show up in your post does before actually posting it to the thread . . . It may take a little more time and effort, but it does give you an idea of what everyone will see . . . ;)

OH and "You" would also get a chance to see some of the other options available to you and if the "HTML" code is set to OFF - you will be able to see the BB Codes that are used on ECF and some other forums too . . .:D

Sandy, I'm on a mac, using Safari. To embed a YouTube vid, I open the vid on a separate tab, copy the vid's URL from the address bar up on the very top (triple-click to select all, then command-C or edit>copy). Then I go to my ECF reply box, hit the filmstrip icon ("Insert Video"), paste the copied URL, then hit OK.

That's what I did. I wonder why it works for you and not for me. Thanks for the help, though.

Remember a while ago I mentioned that Vitor Silva and his Lusitano stallions were coming to Ithaca? Our dressage club put on the event, and this evening, I went and helped out and watched. I took some pictures, though the light in the indoor ring was poor. But a few turned out OK, so I'll share.

This is a levade, and it takes a lot of muscular strength and balance for a horse to do it. It's not just rearing up, since the horse's joints are more flexed, and he balances like that for a short time. They said this horse is older, 22, and he's still able to do this.

They performed a quadrille, where the riders coordinate and ride in formation. It looks easier than it is.
