Good morning Volties. We are having gorgeous weather here! Today is expected to reach 80!! Yay!!!

I heard from Tail... She's still cleaning up the mess, had window bars and a security system installed, locks changed on the house, garage and the Harley. They stole her extra sets of keys. Her neighbors saw the burglars and NO ONE called the police. One neighbor went as far as following the vehicle but didn't get the license plate number. Why bother if they didn't call the police at that time!

She will return to Voltville when she can but wants you all to know that she appreciates all of your concern and support during this very stressful time.

As for me... I'm feeling better now and will have my doctor's visit tomorrow to get the report.

Dang, in my neighborhood we've been known to call the cops on legitimate workers/movers just to be on the safe side.

Will keep Tail in my thoughts.

Same for my neighborhood. We even look out for each other if anyone will be going away on vacation... collecting their mail and packages so they don't pile up. Most of us have security systems too. Living in the city, we have to be extra vigilant.

Thanks Deb. I'm praying for an all clear from my doctor.

It will be a long process for Tail but she's strong and will recover. Such a shame that law-abiding citizens have to deal with something like this... some jerks who think they have the right to take what honest people work hard for. Ok... rant over!

Oh my gosh Tail! I am so sorry that you are going through this! I hope they catch the losers that did this, makes me so angry! I'm really glad that Whisper is ok. It's 43 here and we are expecting rain, things are starting to green up a bit, but it sure is taking a long time this year. Not complaining, it sure beats snow! Have a great day folks!

It's officially summer! At least for me anyway. The thermometer outside says 78 and I started working on a tan already!

If I took all the sunshine with me I would gladly return it Although I am guessing it wasn't me since I left over 20 years ago. BTW, what part of MI are you in QRXT? I'm from the Greater Lansing area (I moved around a lot) originally and I really do miss MI but since my GF doesn't particularly like intense cold I don't see us moving there anytime soon.

When I turn up the heat in the winter, he suffers. When he turns up the air condition in the summer, I suffer. We are such a mismatched pair.

Last place I lived in MI was Perry, NE of Lansing on 69 if memory serves me. Oakland county, that's up towards Milford (My uncle used to work in Milford)?

I'm near where the corners of Oakland, Livingston and Genesee counties meet. Milford is not too far away.

We're having warm weather, too. So far, it's in the high 60s and sunny, but later it's supposed to rain, and I think it might snow by the end of the week, so spring isn't really here, though it feels like it.

I just got back from the barn, grooming Penny, with lots of shedding hair on the floor at the end. I took a carrot, cut up in bite-size pieces, and each time before I'd give her a piece, I'd ask her if she wanted a carrot, and she'd nicker. Then I'd go get a carrot piece and give it to her. Who says horses don't understand what we say?
