Terry's a tough one, Lis.
I'm out of here. I told Priorities that I was going to watch the football game and here I am, yacking with this group.
Goodnight Sandy, Lisa, Terry and Lis. See ya tomorrow.
Hi QRXT !!!!!![]()
is that a hope for me, should I bring Terry to Miami ?![]()
I hope I don't disappoint you. It's a new kind of struggle, so it may be a flop.
time and a needle and you will make miracles on a wall![]()
Don't you enjoy a challenge, Lis? If it was easy, it'd be no fun!
Yeah. If you had read back when you came on, you'd know she's cold. She needs warming up. (Sorry, Terry. I couldn't resist.)

you are right, she is the only reason I didnt leave ECF![]()
let's keep it as a secret between you and me, winter is my only weapon to conquer her![]()
Yes, there is an animal in it but it is a scenery drawing. I don't want to say too much because if I can't get the animal right I'll be trashing it. It's not any easy drawing. There is a lot of stuff in it I haven't done before so it's practice but I want this one to turn out good.
It sounds like what I'm up to, with the latest drawing. Lots of new territory to conquer. Scary! Just remember, it's a learning experience, no matter how it turns out. Try your best and relish what you learn from it. That's what I try to do. Of course, it's really, really nice when they turn out well.
Is yours in color or b&w? I'm going your way and working this new one in b&w. I started thinking of it when i began those little sketches with the charcoal pencil.
My big problem is going to be the way the light falls on everything. And, of course, the moon & clouds. The horse will be OK, at least.
That's the same problem I'm facing but I'm sure your's will turn out great.
I'm glad somebody is sure. I certainly am not. I'll show it to you anyway, even if it's a failure. Maybe the comments will help me do better. I'm really scared of making this up, since I'm not copying anything. The horse will be backlit, and I'm totally at a loss how to do that effectively. Oh, there's going to be lots wrong with it, and I have no picture in my mind just how to do what is in my mind's eye. I have a vague concept and no idea how to execute it.
You know that is a problem we both need to over come. Disappointing anyone. I doesn't really matter if anybody else likes our work but we want them to. I want my next drawing to be better than the eagle but it probably won't and everybody will be disappointed. But should we care? I know I'm putting too much stress on myself trying to make each drawing better than the last one but it doesn't work out that way. Each drawing is a practice lesson even if it isn't perfect.
You're right, but I want the drawing to be good. Not only do I not want to disappoint others, more, I don't want to disappoint myself.
I know, I'm the same way.
Maybe the ones you saw weren't real good, but they satisfied me.
