Yeah, I just bought it on Amazon for $7.68. Now it's $6.14. That's not fair.

They change their prices a lot. Sometimes I've waited when ordering and actually gotten a cheaper price. You know, I'll put stuff in my cart and leave it there for a few days while I think what else I might want to order, too. Then I go to order, and it's cheaper! So I guess it can work both ways. It's never different by a huge amount, though, just a dollar or 2.

Hey everyone! I'm back...of course no one noticed that I've been absent, as I'm not as active as all the people who keep me entertained.:D Finally caught up. My computer has been slowly dying, and a couple of days ago, it rolled over and gave up. So I went to Best buy today, and got a new one. Nothing special, but very, very functional. I'm pleased with it.

Yay Catlady. New computer, so cool!!! And nice to have you back.

Oh boy, I found a guy here in Silver Springs that drives horses. He is coming over on Tuesday morning to look at my critters and my harness and set up a lesson. He's a pretty good price and he can drive over here since he is close by. He sounds like he knows what he is doing, too. I can't wait!!!!!

Wow! Congratulations on finding a trainer. I hope he works out for you and the horses. That's wonderful news.

Be ready for the uninformed to wonder why you're taking lessons when you already know how to drive a horse. I got this a lot from people when I was taking lessons. Some people don't get it that certain things are an ongoing learning experience. You don't learn how to do it and then just stop, knowing everything there is to know. You'd think this would be obvious, but some people just don't get it.

I got a lovely handmade, wool sweater that way. I was out with my dad and a woman he and I knew since I was a little kid. I knew she knitted stuff and was very good at it. Somehow, the subject of my horse and the lessons I was taking came up. She said, "Why are you taking riding lessons? Don't you already know how to ride a horse?" I tried to explain, but she just wasn't getting it, so I used an example that she might be familiar with: knitting. I asked if she didn't ever learn new things, a new pattern or something about knitting, even though she had done it for years. Somehow, she thought I was suggesting she take knitting lessons because she still needed to learn how to. I kept trying to explain. (Why do I persist in this kind of thing? Why won't I give up when I see that I'm just not being understood?) Finally, I did give up.

Some time later, I got a package in the mail from her. You guessed it. A gorgeous sweater she had knitted for me. In it was a note: "See? I do so know how to knit!"

I apologize for all the spelling errors. I got a new wireless keyboard when I did my upgrade on my PC and it seems to have a mind of it's own. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :D

Yeah, blame it on the keyboard...:glare::laugh:

What is that last thing for? Do the eraser pencils you pictured do basically the same thing as the electric erasers? Those pencils might be something I'd try. There have been times I did want to erase a very small area, and my big eraser (not really that big -- a pink pearl) erased more than I really needed, and then I had to draw all that back again. Generally, I try not to erase very often.

What other touchy projects do you do?
