Ok...I have the whole SO's "famned damily" over tomorrow for the stepson's graduation - say a prayer for me LOL! After this is all over, I'm going for a long bike ride!

On the other hand, I smoked a ton of tri-tip today and it's gonna taste good with beer, sooo...there's an upside.

Imagine...hope you are having a wonderful and well-earned rest!

Sometimes it means more than you may imagine Semi.

Most of the day today, I've been having an "MS Hug". Sounds kinda pleasant, doesn't it? It isn't. The muscles surrounding the torso go into a cramp that only eases for short periods. It feels like a "hug" only if the hug is administered by an anaconda. It makes it difficult to catch your breath and makes you dizzy and your ears ring. Any movement is difficult. It's been said to feel very similar to a heart attack. This may go on for days.

But - you made me smile in spite of it.

Sorry if too much information folks, but I've had my night meds and have absolutely no censor in control at the moment.

I can empthasize with you, not from someone suffering MS but from someone with an ongoing health issue that produces good day bad day scenarios. I hope that hug is a short one and you feel much better this morning.

Thank you, Marlou - But I am sorry that I made you or anyone else feel bad. That was not my intent. I was just trying to express how grateful I am for everyone here. We all have our own challenges. We accept and meet them as well as we are able. It is easier when friends are around that can help us smile through it all.

My Motorcycle dating experience is a little different...

My wife came from an overly protective family - for the first 3 months of us dating we had an escort (I was 30 at the time)... The first time they let us go without an escort I picked her up on my motorcycle...

We were headed home around around 5pm (her curfew was 6pm since we were allowed to go alone) and we were about 10 miles from her home when we got a flat tire... I pushed my motor about 3 miles or so until we found a tire place open and got it repaired.

We got to her house about 7pm (a little late) and there was a posse of relatives on the porch getting ready to go find us... Luckily I had a receipt for the tire repair... We did get escorted again for a few weeks until her uncle talked her father into giving us a chance again - no motorcycle that time... LOL

Back in those days it was a 900 cc BMW - full ferring with bags... Not exactly light to be pushing down the road... She did carry the helmets though... LOL
