Probably an urban legend where you are. It'd be nice if ya'll got some. Every time I think about complaining we don't get enough I read about other states in a whole lot worse shape than we're in.
Hey, I'm not complaining. It was so hot here, my lawn looked liked a hay field. Rain makes the grass grow, which keeps us busy. I'll enjoy my day off especially since once football season starts in a couple of weeks, I lose every Saturday until November and 2-3 nights a week.

Hi Rave. Looks like Outlaw's aim wuzz off when he threw the rain this way lol. It's going west of us. Cloudy and an occasional mist but that's about it. At least it's a little cooler.
Yeah - We seriously need rain here. The forest is starting to looking like early autumn. Leaves are going yellow and dropping. It's so sad.
Think - Green Pea Gravel - no watering, no mowing and always looks fresh... It is very popular in some areas of CA and NV...
The crops aren't doing all that great either Rave. With the woods that dry be vigilant for anything that may cause fire. That's the main downside to living in the woods. I've had friends have to evacuate and come back home to find nothing.

We have been fairly lucky. Except for a little hail a couple of times. We have been getting just enough rain - no floods and the plants are happy. Figs are plentiful this year. We walked around the neighborhood last night and gave away about 4 gallons of figs - after canning and freezing about 3 gallons worth. Picked more this morning... Best year we have had in a while...
Yea, they are talking about anything that uses grain or corn - expect it to sky rocket in price...
That's usually the way they justify price hikes anyway. Sometimes it's real and sometimes it's created. One thing for sure if they say it's going up it's gonna. It's been costing a lot to feed hogs for a long time now and I know a few people that ate most of their chickens to keep from having to feed them. It went up during the last bad year and never came back down.

I'm not letting my son have any campfires right now. 'Course - who wants a campfire in this heat anyhow? How awful for your friends to have had that happen. I'd be devastated.

Trouble with your taste buds are common when you start vaping. A lot of folks suffer from flavor burn out. It especially happens if you vape one flavor only. It's kinda like when you can't smell your own perfume anymore. Best thing to do (if you can), is switch up your flavors a bit - or try vaping mint or menthol for a bit. They'll come back. It happens.
