I'm on the extreme end of the spectrum: I keep ten different flavors that I alternate all day long. This developed initially because of problems with losing flavor. That hasn't happened for years now, but constantly alternating the flavors throughout the day does keep them from tasting nasty.
Are they the same ten that you keep rotating or do you ever experiment still with different flavors?

Over the years I have some flavors that I would simply wither up and die if I didn't have. Perhaps a bit dramatic, but it gets the point across. Two of them are wild cards that I keep open for trying new flavors. These are either my own creations or from a few select nicquid providers.

i keep about 4 different flavors going at the same time and switch every time i reach for a vape.

as i said in my other post about doing my own mixing,i have caramel flavoring plus ry4 on my wish list.
i also have ripe banana, vanilla ice cream, tfa tobacco, and a few other flavors that i can't think of at the moment.

i am trying to put together flavors that i think would go together.
i think the ry4 needs more caramel for starters.
i plan to teach my self how to do this per my own taste, but i will listen to others for a starting point.
i will start with a 50 50 flavorless base and take it from there,,like we say in gardening,it is all an experiment.

Larry I was just thinking and I'm the LAST person that knows anything about flavors, and you may already be doing this. Some vendors offer bottle samplers maybe that would be more economical to experiment with. You might find one that you really like that you don't want to experiment with and the choices could be endless.

i already do that,,that is why i am going to do my own mixing and it will be cheaper then buying samples.

It really does take awhile to find your flavors doesn't it? The only flavor that I have that I could vape all the time if my taste buds would cooperate is Freedom.
I hope you have a GREAT day,I stayed up later than I should have but I wanted to celebrate your anniversary with you and the other Volties. I've got this tune in my head I can't get out and its James Brown's "Poppa's Got a Brand New Bag" except in my mind its "Rave's got a brand new Volt/Vape"

Weird weekend. Saw The Campaign - hilarious. Vaping was off all weekend though. Carts tasted really funny. X2 clearo started leaking. CE3 that leaked and smelled burnt before ended up working fine (I was trying everything). Opened a new X2 and it tasted really, really weird. Just a bad vaping weekend overall. Suffered through the bad tastes but man it really was not enjoyable at all.

Couldbe that "changing taste syndrome" brought on by taste bud rejuvination because of the lack of tobacco. Just don't give up, I think we all have days when everything doesn't work right.

It does eventually quit pulling that garbage. At least, it did with me. Don't lose hope!

I have a bad habit of not throwing things out either. In fact, I still have a flannel shirt from my high school hippy days. The elbows are a tad thin, but it's still comfy. Come to think of it, I still have those suede mocassins with the fringe that go all the way around the ankle from the same time period. Also still comfy. :)

Thanks! Actually - I did chronicle the three weeks that I spent in Alaska. It's punctuated with a whole potload of pictures that go along with what I'm saying. And, it's kinda fun. Wouldn't know where to put it though. Maybe I could plunk the whole thing in as a blog entry? Dunno how the blogs work, but I'll look into it.

Wow - See what y'all have done? Today must've given me a big head 'cause I'm quoting myself!

I don't know how else to do this other than to give links to SkyDrive. It opens up Microsoft Word even if it isn't installed on your computer so that you can see the whole adventure as it was put together. I composed it in three segments:

Raven's Alaskan Adventure

I also listed it as a blog on my Profile Page, but I don't know if I'll get away with that.

i plan to teach my self how to do this per my own taste, but i will listen to others for a starting point.
i will start with a 50 50 flavorless base and take it from there,,like we say in gardening,it is all an experiment.

Larry

I'm not recommending this, because I haven't tried it, but I read in another forum here that menthol + fruit is a popular combination. For some reason that sounds really good to me. Just a suggestion for a possible combination.
