You know that's really sad to, you do all you can to stay out of debt, make your payments, get things paid off ahead of time and then your punished with high interest rates. What about that, makes any sense? I'm not trying to be funny here, can anyone explain why that is?

Because paying everything off means they're not making any money off of you from interest.

Good morning everyone. I made coffee its not as good as Lilac's but its here if you want it. I hope you all have a GREAT day.:)

My fastest's is about 145. that was years ago in my twin turbo RX7. i was in too much traffic to go that fast but two motorcycle's passed me at about 90 & there was a lul in traffic for a minute or so. and i thought i wonder if i can beat em top end because i know just about a any motorcycle will beat any car at low speeds. Anyway i passed them and then they flew by me, so they must all so be more aerodynamic, not just lighter. Anyway i did redline 4th gear, i think that would of been around 145. That car spec-ed at 165 top speed so it got up there pretty fast.

Have u ever raced Road Atlanta ?
LOL! I get the same goosebumps just reading about the speed as watching a herd of horses running (on TV)!!! I can "feel" the wind whipping thru my hair! What a rush! ( I'm not a motor head - am I? ;-) )

It's all about control ... Other than the horse training programs - I don't watch the propaganda box anymore.

On a happy note: hubs said I could talk to the owner about that Blue Roan colt!!! Won't be able to pay for him til November. We ARE under contract on selling our place! Now just praying nothing 'messes' it up!

Raynes: Thanks for the coffee! On my second cup w/ blueberry ice while taking a break from cleaning! :D
(One fridge down and one to go! Gosh I hate that job. Every move involved means some time either irritating the low back or the neck. I'd rather shovel wet cement! hmm - that last time is the reason my back has been so sore the past 3 weeks! Still prefer it!)

Agreed - they are extremely handy in an emergency situation. I keep a couple but pay off the balance at the end of each month. That helps to build a great credit rating. I've also taken advantage of those "1 Year with no finance charges" deals to build credit, and just make sure that it is paid off before that year ends. I can't imagine trying to function without credit cards.

Well, i'm staying away from credit cards, loans whatever. Seems it's better without them.

That's the point - make your payments. If you aren't making payments to anything then there is no history to show what a good job you do of making your payments on time. They have no way of knowing, so they hesitate to take a chance.

Me too, but here in the US it's really hard not having them. Can't rent a car when yours breaks down (that's the one that scares me the most), can't get a hotel room without leaving a huge cash deposit, and a bunch of other things I can't even think of that have messed me up over the past few years I have really bad credit with no steady income). Gift cards for online purchases are great, but they're $5 a pop...

You guys this is off topic but I have a question for cat lovers. Yesterday I went and bought Millie my foster cat some kind of catnip scratching board and the only time she gets off the thing is to eat and drink. She just sits or lays on it and looks like someone that got a hold of some really good weed, she has REALLY mellowed out. Do I need to get rid of this thing or limit her time with it?

I'd limit her time, I had one cat that was the exact same way.

A YEAR !!!! Kico, what helps me is to think in terms of my body repairing itself after yrs of smoking. It frustrates the heck out of me to BUT if I have a reason as to why I can't taste my vapes then I can deal with it better if that makes any sense at all. The mouth rinse trick doesn't work for me like it did.
Today was a rotten vape day for me,and I so wanted to get a pack of smokes but for what? To go through this all over again? Not me I'll go through every juice every vendor has to offer before I do that, and I know me well enough to know I couldn't smoke just one now like I did when I first started vaping,I'd smoke the whole pack one right after the other.

Hope you had a better day today Raynes. Apart from on here do you have anyone who gives you support?
Probably like a lot of people on here I dont have anyone who gives me support, I dont know any other vapers & have never seen another person vaping. I talk about my vape gear a lot at home, I think my family are fed up with listening to me ramble on but I keep chatting and every now & then I'll make a big statement " Wow I need to pat myself on the back for doing so well & not smoking". I get a bit sarcastic at times but usually get some kind of mild response. lol.
I wonder who others chat to to give them support...I rang my Mother once but her memory is fading & she hardly remembers me even telling her that I didnt smoke anymore so that wasnt very helpful at all.....

LOL! You sure your talking about dogs??? Sounds like small horses! :D (Beethoven is a dainty 10-11 lbs!)
Actually our favorite outdoor dog was a gorgeous Sable German Shepherd. A friend couldn't take her when they moved. We felt so honored to be blessed with that dog. VERY well trained. She could almost say "I love you" in a CLEAR manner! Gosh we laughed - reminded us of Scooby!

WELCOME TO THE NEW GUYS! Gosh one of these days I'll stay caught up ... Probably during a snowstorm ... Or when I get a laptop so I don't have to share with hubs ... I can be gone ALL day ... and he'll take the computer about the time I want it! Just found out bro's laptop is not worth fixing - never going to have a kind word to say about the Computer Renaissance in my area ...

I know how that feels, I have to share with 5 others ...must get a laptop!!
Hey, We went to the dog beach today & a twin of your dog was there, I wish I'd had my camera with me, but it did make me think of you & all the other volties :D

It takes a few tries or it did for me anyway to taste the watermelon. Your probably far enough along now your taste buds will behave.First few tries to me it tasted just like soap. Now its one of my favorites. Its been tasting true but today to me it tasted like lemon which is fine I like lemon.

Thanks! I'll put that on my list of things to try....I think i can handle a soap taste, most likely better than the burnt taste I've been getting a lot of lately

I agree with nightfell ( by the way Hiiiiii) I had a cat that went totally weird with a catnip product & had to take it away from her before It became necessary to buy her a tye dye t-shirt & peace collar :D

I really don't talk about it with anyone but you guys too. My mom is very happy for me (heck, she gave me my 1st kit for Christmas), but I don't discuss flavors, new equipment, etc. with her. There's nobody at work that vapes (that I know of).

Hey Raynes! For 20 years I never had a cat that really got a kick out of catnip...until my current one. I limit her time with the catnip mouse, as I worry that she'll dehydrate. She drools and drools and drools--and I have to retrieve it with a pair of tongs, because it's that disgusting. She'll go to sleep (out of exhaustion, I think), with her face on it/stuck to it, if I allow it, then wake up and start rubbing on it all over again, until she's all sticky and yucky. My baby girl's a messy drunk!:D If all your kitty is doing is sleeping on it, I'd think the worst that might happen is she'll lose her love of the catnip (wear it out, in other words). So it's your choice, as the provider of all that's good and fun. I don't think catnip can be harmful, in and of itself.
