Sitting down, facing forward.
Rave, did you have those storms last night? We had some pretty strong thunder storms here. Last I heard they were headed east.

Well, they did go east! I was going to harvest the weed crop before it goes to seed and is ruined, but if I really want to do that I'll need a scuba tank for me and the mower. I'd probably have to put flotation tires on as well or I'd need a periscope. Oh well, guess I'm forced to make another cup of coffee and drink it while I vape some RY4, what a sacrifice I'm making!

Looks like a beautiful day. Beautiful days always happen when I am too worn out from cleaning other peoples houses to do anything outside. Like today. I think I will drive into Carson City and do some shopping and try to get home in time to take a nap:)

We have had a couple of thunderstorm days out here lately. Not much rain. We had two lightning strikes where the lightning and thunder were simultaneous and felt like they were right here in the backyard. So close I checked out the windows both times to see if the goats and the horse were still standing. Fortunately, all the animals were fine:) Penny Poo Poo hid under the bed. Smart dog.

Hope no one is getting too much rain from their thunderstorms.

Yeah, that was a humongous amount of wet stuff. We've been so dry here that every drop we got from Isaac and the storm last night has completely disappeared into the ground. At least in the area where I live. I haven't heard any reports of flooding in low lying places but there are power outages here and there.

Sorry about your weed crop. Mine are doing very well. Some have started blooming and I can see they're rose of sharons. Blasted things come up everywhere.

Oh chooky i am not as computer intelligent as some but i did pick up a bit from a last boyf. My laptop was shop bought and has limited bios changeability mode.... PITA really. I have everything except the last month on an external backup'd drive. So not too badly burned. Thanks for the suggestion though! Hope u sort out your woes, wish i could be off more help.

Good i am happy one month is lost not too too bad .... I am not motercycle intellegent, so u got me there. Turn grip counter clockwise ....hang on and smile ....

Most aren't as nutty with computers as me & lots more intellegent. My Mobo is a DFI which was a top of the line overclocking Motherboard. In hindsight wish i got something more mainstream, but i was into overclocking even water cooling at the time. It is a Intel P35 northbridge so thats a generation back. It has been nothing but problems. My previous DFI was great, but not many overclock now and the motherboard is not as critical as microprocessor now for overclocking. The company DFI kinda sux now since they lost there market. Enough said but they really dont support there products well anymore. (these things have 5x the bios setting of a typical Motherboard and without support u could spend forever playing with it.) Anyhow i found a cheap gigabyte one on Ebay, its mainstream and will keep my rig going reliably for a while i hope.

Oh, how did u come up with "Reptilr" if u dont mind me asking. Take Care & enjoy ur Saturday :)

Yep - We had a Tornado Warning for quite awhile there. It was intense, but coulda been worse. The winds weren't bad, which always makes me happy. Lots of thunder and lightning, which makes me happy too! :p

Here in NW Ohio it was just a typical rain. Had a few shots of lightning and it rained over night. We got a little over an inch of rain. Nothing left behind like you said, all dried up. I like storms and was waiting for it to let loose, but it never did.

Good afternoon, fellow Volties! I see a few new faces and want to say, "Welcome!"

Hubby had the last three days off work, so I spent more time with him, than on the PC for once! What a nice wife I am, aren't I?!? LOL! On the days he works, I spend my time online when he's at work or sleeping, which he's doing now.

Now that I am officially done with my Associate's degree, I'm seriously thinking of changing schools for my Bachelors. I've been going for a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in web design, but found a school that offers an IT degree with a concentration in web design. It's more expensive, but I think I'll have more job opportunities with an IT degree. I'm just waiting to see if my credits will transfer and of course, word on financial aid. Won't know much until next week, since I didn't get my official grades until Friday to send off my transcripts. Wish me luck! :)

Sweet little ride you have there, reptilr! I love that color! Hope everyone is doing well!

Yeah, Tina - go for the IT one, and get API in there as well. That would be a great thing to have with web design. How cool would you be, if you could do all of that? :thumb:
