Finally got a new computer,,,,,,,,,yeah THAT took a while,,,,,,,,DS's broke and he needed his for college, so we bought his first,,,,,I had to wait LOL,,,,we had another, but the kids were always on it,,,,,,,,and I got tired of trying to fight for it all the time
just got a new one the other day, and I spent an eon trying to clean out my email (oy vey!)
so what's UP???
I have been loving my volts,,,,,,,,,A LOT,,,,,,,,so much so that I charged them both 3 X a day LOL and one is already dead LOL,,,,,
so I ordered DD and myself an 900 mah X2 yesterday

anyway,,,,,,,I think I'm supposed to use a usb charger at 1.5 amps,,,the one I wanted to use is an AC to USB adapter at 1 amps.
can I CHARGE it on this until I can make another order?" is the 1.5 amps only for using it as a pass through option,,,or do I need to scramble to find something 1.5?
at Walmart today they only had 1.2 amps. Nothing larger. sigh.
what are my options for charging/using this thing as a pass through?

Based on my experience from monitoring the current draw of a discharged X2-650 while being charged and used in the pass through mode, a 1 amp charger should be more than sufficient until you order a 1.5 amp from SI. So far the maximum current draw I have seen has only been in the 250ma range when an X2-650 is almost fully discharged and being used as a pass through. Extrapolating from that, I wouldn;t expect an X2-900 to draw more than 375ma under the same conditions. It might actually climb as high as 500ma but I would be surprised by that. The biggest consideration is that the output voltage does need to be regulated at 5 volts to protect the charger circuit inside the X2 itself.
Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warrantee or guarantee is expressed or implied.

My charger IS 5 volts, thank you!!!!!! whew, I was worrying I couldn't use it at ALL until I got another order moving LOL!
