Good Morning, Volties. Back from vacation.

Having a delicious cup of Kenyan coffee and some Freedom 24mg to get the day started.

Tried to catch up on all the doings but this is a really chatty bunch and I am afraid it is hopeless.

Sandy Su - How is your shoulder doing? I love having short hair. Best idea I ever head. Did you cut your hair? If you did, do you like it?

I had a wonderful vacation. I'll have to tell y'all more when I get the time.

Hubby has decided we need a shed for the firewood. Last fall we put in a wood stove. Loving it! Vacation isn't officially over until tomorrow. Off to help the Hubby on the big fall project. We have about a week before the weather turns colder and need to get as much done as possible.

I had to explain that I did try my SI charger (originally, I thought I had the wrong charger, but I did not, so when the first one didn't work, we tried the SI one),,,,

Given the "Rice Krispies" sound effects I think I'd make a stand on this one and tell them to recharge it on their charger. You may have a problem with SI though since you did use a non-SI charger, like 5 volts that isn't SI 5 volts isn't going to work or damage something.

it only peeves me, because I HAVE an SI charger,,,,the same one I use to charge my 78mms is the one I need to charge my X2 (not the usb part,,,,,,,the part that the usb plugs into and goes into the wall)

I thought I had the wrong charger, but I didn't,,,,,,so I only charged it with the non SI charger for a few hours,,,,,

but it is what it is.

I agree with Awsum,and I wouldn't recharge that X2 again, I'd send it back when you think its safe to so they can see for themselves,Something maybe wrong with one of the machines at the factory and they need to know so if there is a problem they can correct it. I'd also bubble wrap it really good before I sent it just as a safety precaution.

Well I still can't get the dog out from under the horse trailer. Best I can tell looks like a cross btw a Pitt and a bird dog. The dog growls at me,poor thing is scared. I just keep advancing and retreating bringing he/she food. Just praying that he/she won't attack me. Guess I do look threatening down on my knees putting food under there but I don't know of a better way.
Wish I knew if its been injured not that it makes a lot of difference since I can't get near it. Atleast its eating and drinking.

Jason's putting you in a dangerous situation by asking you to recharge, even though you've told him you've already tried that (or tell him you already have). It was defective from the get-go, and the warranty doesn't forbid use of a third-party AC adapter - just the USB dongle. Yeah, maybe it takes Imagine's magical intervention to get you a new one without having to fiddle with the defective one...but hold them to the warranty - you don't wanna set a precedent for the rest of us, do you?

Not around here I live out in the boonies that's why we are a dumping ground for unwanted animals. The closest no kill shelter is 40mi away.If I can get even a tentative bond started it will come out on its own and I won't have to traumatize it anymore than the dog already is.

yes, I told him that I already tried charging with an SI charger, but he hasn't responded yet,,,,,,maybe he'll just say they'll replace it then.

if he doesn't want to give me a new one, I'll talk to IMagine,,,,,,,

I'm sure they'll make it right,,,,,,,if I have to, I'll talk to Imagine Monday when she gets back from Vaporcon,,,,,they're probably crazy busy over there if more than a few are at vapor con.

I'm just really glad I have my 78mm,,,,,,,,because under no circumstances am I recharging that thing,,,,,,although every time I look at it, it's been quiet,,,not sure if its dead or not,,,,,,just hope it doesn't rain, because it's NOT coming in my house
