Sitting down, facing forward.
Crappy day here too, it's been raining since the middle of the night and I have outside work I want to do. I spent the day, yesterday, installing a trailer hitch on my Jeep. Instructions said it would take about an hour, and at first glance, that looked reasonable. Well, I spent two hours on Wednesday starting some of the prep work and a total of four hours yesterday finishing the hitch part. I forgot how badly you can bang up your hands wrenching bolts in tight places, and these absolutely, positively, have to be tight. I wanted to get the wiring in today, but not with the rain, no garage. So besides the aches from the crappy weather, my hands and arms are stinging and aching a little extra. On well, tomorrow we're going to watch one of our neighbors and his son chunk pumpkins with a trebuchet and it is supposed to be a nice day.

When my daughter was first dating I had rules, but had to drop them as she got tired of me scaring them off... (LOL)

I don't really have rules I just make sure to be cleaning my AK-47 and a few shotguns the first time a new boyfriend comes to visit. Then I whisper in their ear before they leave "if they ever put their hands on my Daughter in anger I will have their head on a stake out front to warn the rest". I scared one kid so bad he never even called my Daughter on the phone again. It's my job and I take pride in my work!

I don't remember the details now, but Google should turn them up. There's a place you can register at that will take you off junk mail lists, just like the phone's do not call list, except it's for mail.

If you use Gmail or Aol you can set your spam filter to Sh** can any email that is from anyone not on your contacts list, Oh yes I do, I might get 1 piece of spam mail a month if someones email I know gets hijacked. If you are not in my address book then there's no need to mail me. I'm sure I've missed out on winning millions from the Nigerian Lottery but I can live with that! :D

Morning,,,,,

not a good day here,,,,,,,my pain levels are going through the roof lately. Still not 100% what the problem is, but hopefully the doc will have some answers Monday (Tuesday?? the 22nd)

I'm really beside myself,,,,,I've decided to give up my two design team posts,,,,ASAP. A Design Team is a team that makes cards (or other projects) with freebie goodies that companies send you,,,,,,,I just can't sit in my craft chair long enough to make cards lately,,,,,,and when I CAN sit and make a card, I want to make the ones I want to make,,,,,,not what someone else tells me to make,,,,I'm late on one today, and I don't want to disappoint any longer,,,,,,it's just time to give them up until they can figure out the problem.

didn't mean to be a downer,,,,,,,but I'm a bit down today. :( I like my design teams,,,,but I just can't do it anymore. I never know when I'll be flaring, sometimes they don't get the products to me quickly so that I have 2 days to make a card,,,,and if I'm flaring those two days,,,,,,it's miserable. sigh.

Just.too.much.

Hope everyone is having a better day than I am,,,,,

but I think I'll be calling on someone for a creme brulee recipe when I get better at DIY

Holly, I hope you're feeling better now. Pain is so debilitating. It's a shame you have to give up the design team, it sounds really interesting, but if you can't find enthusiasm and meet the deadlines, then it's time. I think something else may come along that'll be even better for you, and you'll be off on a new journey into it. That has happened to me. I did freelance editorial work for years, and just about when I was getting bored with it, the work stopped coming in. I think the reason was not inferior work but the worsening economy. But it made me sad for a while to give up that way of life, which did have definite advantages, such as being able to go riding on a beautiful day and then work when the weather was bad, stuff like that. But I found an exciting new career doing catering, though the pay was dismal. I was getting stiff and sore sitting at my desk so much, and the physical activity of the catering was much better for my body. Leaning a new skill was fun, too. Now, with the broken arm, that's on hold, though I'm sure they'll welcome me back when I'm physically able to do the job. So I know a new window is opening, and something interesting will come of this broken arm. A new phase of life, new interests, something. I'm sending vibes to you for a pain-free and successful future.

Good Morning back at you Lilac and to all.
It sure is early morning here, but still considered nighttime, so with that im off to bed.
I have been stuck reading three books this past week, kept me well away from the forum and a whole lot harder to see the light at the end of the forum tunnel LOL
Holly... upon your posts of the buttery nip I decided to give vape dudes a try and placed an order.
I have been on the merry go round again with my juice selection. Im down to two juices that i vape all day everyday and only one of those is keeping my taste buds satisfied.
Sandysu hugs to hearing how your going. Happy to hear your new hair do is much easier to manage. Hugs to you and I will telepathically send a peaceful sleep your way.
Officer hope you receive some good news about the theft, Karma always comes round!
Well wishes to you all
Mel

Thanks for the thoughts but the local LEOs have already apprehended 2 of the three idiots and we got most of the stuff back less 3 guns and the liquor. I have been reluctant to post anything about it so when justice is served I have plausible deny ability. I hear it wont be pretty but then who in their right mind breaks into a bunch of well known not so nice Bikers Clubhouse? Some people just have to learn the hard way. Funny thing about arrest warrants, they give you the names and addresses of the fools. but I'm just an innocent bystander, don't know nothing and don't want to know nothing. Bwahahahaha!

I was referring to snail mail junk mail. Things like catalogs from companies you'll never in a million years order from. The only problem is, they will stop all junk mail or none, so I like to get some catalogs from horse supply places, even if I didn't request them. With that in mind, when I heard about stopping junk snail mail, I decided not to sign up, since I might be missing something.

Sorry you are hurting, I can sympathize I broke my spine in three places along with several other bones on 6/8/2009 but my pain management Doctor gives me the real good stuff for those occasions when I can't even get up and walk. God Bless pain Doctors and the folks that make Oxycontin. Some days I would be an invalid without them. I will say a prayer for you tonight. Feel better soon hon...

Hey I got an Idea, it's not raining here and you would be more than welcome to come over and do some of my outside work :D. I gotta Honey do List that is thick as the LA phone book. That will teach me to marry a younger woman but it does have it benefits on occasions.
