About the only thing I do on FB is send family birthday wishes and share a few pics. Otherwise I can't stand it either. Once I put my account "on vacation" and then didn't go back for 18 months. I still only sign in about once a week. It's. Just. Boring. IMO, of course.

Yeah, but is it purple?

haha, you keep interjecting with that one, and I'm still trying to figure it out.:laugh: Touché!

Now, does that have the same effect as feeding stray cats? Are they all gonna come lining up around your house now?

As they say in Indiana: "Ah-yup"

I agree, Raynes. Calm, cool, and collected is the key. Animals read us fast, and they respond to what they read.

You've done a great job with Millie.

Thank you,but Millie did it herself. Does this mean I passed Cat Behavior 101? There for about a yr I thought that Millie was some kind of undomesticated wild cat of Rave's.

WOW thanks Rave !!!!

"Peeping Tom" staked out my front deck because I bang out the sugar glider dish there to dispose of what they don't eat. This shot was taken as he was peeping in through my front door. No zoom lens. He was a foot or two from my face.

Crappy day here too, it's been raining since the middle of the night and I have outside work I want to do. I spent the day, yesterday, installing a trailer hitch on my Jeep. Instructions said it would take about an hour, and at first glance, that looked reasonable. Well, I spent two hours on Wednesday starting some of the prep work and a total of four hours yesterday finishing the hitch part. I forgot how badly you can bang up your hands wrenching bolts in tight places, and these absolutely, positively, have to be tight. I wanted to get the wiring in today, but not with the rain, no garage. So besides the aches from the crappy weather, my hands and arms are stinging and aching a little extra. On well, tomorrow we're going to watch one of our neighbors and his son chunk pumpkins with a trebuchet and it is supposed to be a nice day.

I hate your having such a bad day and having such a hard time installing your trailer hitch but I admire your tenacity. I'm to technically challenged to do stuff like that. Shoot I thought I was da bomb when I figured out how to use our new microwave

Ohhh Rave, that is spectacular. I wish this flock would come up close like that. The last time I saw them there were five of them. I'd love to see some baby ones but I never have

Thanks for reminding me, I've got to put out some corn for the wild turkeys.

Raynes, that reminds me of a quick short story. Bill, over there in my avi, is one of the best herders I've seen. I believe somewhere on this thread, I mentioned he thinks he has to herd cats. Well, the cats are friendly in telling Bill they are not interested in being herded.

One time, when Bill first came to the ranch, he tried to herd the wild turkeys. They were not as nice about their refusal as the cats. Now whenever the turkeys show up, Bill takes off in the opposite direction. It is funny to see.
