Hello!!!!! I'm finally home!!!!!!

My MIL had NO INTERNET! can you believe it?? I thought everyone had internet!!!!!

LOL, what did I miss? How is everyone???

Ordered more DIY stuff today,,,,,,,I brought 105 ml of DIY juice with me for my trip,,,,,and used all but about 8 ml.It stayed pretty delicious, but the flavor started to get weaker after a week or so,,,,,,,I think I need to add lemon juice as a flavor stabilizer. This time I ordered 500 ml of the vg and pg, so I should be good for a couple months!!! And of course, more flavors :)

Hi guys! Missed you too! It was the 3 weeks from hell,,,,,,DH's mother was sicker than we thought (glad we went),,,she's down to 75 lbs,,,,,,not a big woman to begin with, but she should weigh 50 lbs more than that,,,,,,,,she's kicked cancer 3 times (in remission) but the emphysyma will kill her,,,,,,,,,so glad I vape now!

then we went to my family's house, and my sister, a diabetic, kept going into major reactions,,,,,,,like blood sugar level below TWENTY. She acts really drunk when she goes into a reaction, and she was getting violent,,,,,,,,we had to SIT ON HER to get sugar into her,,,,,,,,,so off to the hospital she went,,,,,,they kept her for a week,,,,,,,,,

top that with a hurricane and loss of power for 3 days,,,,,,,,,,a nor' easter with several inches of snow,,,,,,and my mother a nervous wreck due to my sister (she made ME DRIVE IN THE SNOW!!!!!!) and you get the idea,,,,,,,

Love them all, but man, what a couple weeks!!!!!

I am happy to be home,,,,,,,I had some sort of "flare" up there, my knee is swollen and I can barely walk,,,,,,,,,,sigh. Anyway, it's warmer here

Awsum so what your vaping isn't sweet? Is it kind of like a cigar tasting vape? I used to love smoking a pipe and cigars. Guess that sounds strange but I did.

Not really like cigars or pipes, and I've smoked both. More like a tobacco with some very light sweetness and chocolate flavors mixed in. I've still got to try a few mixes of the coffee flavors as well, just haven't had the time to do it yet.

WOW ! ! ! Do I FEEL FOR YA' . . .
(I was up there too :( but thankfully did not have to go through what you did . . .)

Especially the Diabetic "Stuff", My Friend "Tom" (the One's with the "Mill") who died a couple of years ago went though that for quite sometime - when I lived with Him and his Wife - "We" always had to make sure we had the needle with an injection of glucagon in case of severe diabetic hypoglycemia . . . Particularly since some mornings he would wake up and his insuline only registiure a 17 . . . NOT AT ALL GOOD :(

OKAY - View attachment 151455 for "HOLLY" . . .:D

Glad you got through the storm OK Holly, you missed the worst of the snow up there, some areas around me got a foot, and that's a lot in New Jersey inches LOL.

Well, I got my vape mail today! I'm using the iTaste right now. I've always used auto batteries, tried a manual 78 and didn't really like it except for testing flavors. I don't know why, but I'm already used to this one. I'm using a CE3 on it at the moment and set it to 3.8 volts. It really produces tremendous vapor. I'm a happy camper. I will say their proprietary mini tank doesn;t perform as well as a CE3 or clearo, but it does look good and lets me put a pen clip style cap on it making it look like a fountain pen.

"Mornin Volttatics! Coffe is on and later I'll have some fresh apple fritters to go with it.

When I was a kid, as in 5-10, my grandparents had a vegetable farm, OK some (5000) chickens and a couple of milk cows. Anyhow, in the summer I worked on the farm, planting and picking. Picking anything is hard work, even at that age. On the other hand, it'll keep you in good shape! Shoveling chicken manure is hard work as well and tests your ability to breath in a not so nice way.

Although, I do not always acknowledge it every day . . .

THANKS - for the Coffee and especially "Fritters" (Love "Me" some of them "Fritters" ) . . .

AND - BTW, I'll take milkin' the Cows at 6 in the mornin and then again at night over cleaning a chicken coop any day . . . Been There - Done That . . . for over a year when I lived in a "Summerhill" type of school when I was younger and we had to do farm work . . . YES - I know it is hard to believe, but I - "UNCLE" - lived and worked on a farm too (I was a HIPPIE then - besides being an outsider and "Social Deviant" ;) so I had to go to a special school  ) . . .

However, I will say that having the fresh milk and eggs every day was well worth the hassle . . . Matter of fact, it was also the time I learned to make home made fresh bread, donuts, etc from scratch . . . YES - I - "UNCLE" - can even Cook too . . .

Okay Now - Anyone want to have a serious discussion about the "Psycho/Social/Emotional Dynamics of Farm Work vs City Life and the Interactions of Society for a Gay Man living through the 60's into the New Millennium" . . .

Or for even more of a serious discussion "We" could just refer back to either of "My" Master's Thesis about "The Increase in Hate Crimes in Suburbia and Rural Areas since the 1950's" or "The Psycho/Social/Emotional Effects of Women and Gay Men Asserting Themselves in Heterosexual Male Dominated Society" . . . O O O O O - NOW That would be FUN ! ! ! :D

Hey, Uncle, Yeah for old hippies, that's right, I loved my hippy dippy days and still carry the love in my heart.

Holly, glad you survived the MIL and no internet. WTH? I didn't think there was a single soul left who doesn't have internet!

Fun, Awesum, who doesn't love getting vape mail!!!!

Sadly, I have more chores on the list.

Oh, I'll try to get a photo of my little horse in his new winter coat over the weekend. Hubby can hold him while I take a photo or two.

Penny Poo Poo was zipping around today and doing some of her ridiculous corgi moves today. Maybe she's getting used to the meds. It was so good to see her slightly tipsy but definitely closer to normal!

WELCOME BACK HOLLY!!! You have been missed!!
What is really scary with some diabetics is when they don't take their insulin and they have blood sugars in the 800's sounds impossible but yes it does occur and then you have them on a regular insulin IV drip and then their blood sugars drop really fast. Now the ADA says its best to keep blood sugars tightly controlled meaning give insulin when the blood sugar levels are less than 200. That scares me.

I'd admire anyone that can milk a cow. I've never been able to get the rhythm to milk and when I did get the milk to come down it went everywhere but in the bucket.
Awsum I'm glad that you are enjoying your ITaste,JoAnn you tickle me with your RY4 so glad you are in vape utopia.
Lizzie all I can say is YAHOOO Penny is getting back to her adorable Corgi self.
Well, time for me to get ready for work. You all have a GREAT night and sleep well.

It's a tight rope walk, that's for sure,,,,,

when her sugars go that low, then we stuff sugar down her,,,,,,,,and they rebound to the 500 range,,,,,,which makes her feel horrid. Poor thing,,,,,,the docs are considering taking her off her insulin pump and going back to shots,,,,,,,

Oh those insulin pumps scare the crap out of me. I'm always afraid they will malfunction.

Oh - this will never do!!

No coffee? No breakfast snack? No Volties?

Hang on a sec and I'll get some coffee made. But here are some apple and cherry pies that my son's gal made. She'll never notice if a few are missing.

Blues was able to hook up internet, so I'll be able to check in every once in awhile while we're on vacation.
