Lizzie I hope I didn't offend you. There are some not a lot but some horse rescues that will do anything to get a horse adopted. Its not all their fault, providing feed and shelter adds up,more that need adopting its tough. So in desperation they just place a horse with whoever will take them regardless of what problems they may have.
I just want you to have a GREAT experience that's all

One thing I noticed about the actual formula portion of the calculator is that it does not allow for the composition of the nicotine, IE PG or VG based solution. In turn, that throws the amounts of PG and VG off in the actual mix when compared to a calculator that includes it. That may also make the cost slightly off, but it is probably quite negligible or non-existant, especially if you're using pre-mixed bases rather than working with higher nicotine levels. I know, I'm being a PITA, but that's just me. It does you a good and quick cost estimate though and I'll probably use it when I try new flavors.

yeah, that's all I use it for,,,,,I use the Ejuice me up for my juice making,,,,,,

I was just trying to get an idea of cost on a single flavor 10% flavoring juice,,,,4 cents. if it's a cent either way, I'm happy

Good Morning Volties. Thanks for the coffee, Raynes.

Raynes, I want me to have good experience, too:) Not insulted at all. Just got a chance to talk about horses and enjoyed it! The 177 minis were confiscated from a lady in Oregon. There are going to be tons of mini people at the auction. They are trying to decide amongst themselves who is going to bid on each horse so that the bidding stays low and as many minis as possible get to go to a good home. They are trying to make sure that people know something about the horses. Some of the stallions are labeled aggressive. It truly has been a commendable effort by the county and the people who love miniature horses.

Rescue organizations can be a bit frustrating. Some of them want too much and some of them are just trying to unload the animals as fast as possible. We have considered getting a really large dog from a rescue a few times but they didn't want to have the dog living outside. We have an outside dog. He comes in the house for awhile every day. We like him but he is happier and better off outside. He has a thick coat and a nice dog house. He runs around the five acres and barks at people and watches the place. He hunts for mice and chases quail. At night he barks at the coyotes. It is his job and he likes his job. He is totally sweet but kind of scary looking so no one comes in the yard who doesn't know him:)

Back to the horse. I go to a mini horse website and people are saying that a little bit bigger of a horse is a lot more to handle. So, I will be cautious when I get a friend for my little guy. I also don't mind a bit older since they live for so long. Wiseguy, at ten years old was actually as young as I was willing to go because I am older too.

You're getting away cheap! I just ran my favorite tobacco flavor and it's 9 cents a milliliter. The big cost increase is coming fom the nicotine I use from XV.

I agree Awsum,,,,,,the greatest benefit is being able to breathe! As I mentioned before, my MIL has kicked cancer's .... 3X, but she won't survive the COPD she has now,,,,,,,,,if I hadn't quit smoking before I saw her, I'd have done it after for sure!

go for it, Lizzie!!!!! Easy as pie for the easier recipes!

Awsum, CommaHolly, other DIY ers. I bought some DIY materials and I need to get busy and try making some.

Good to see you this morning, Awsum:)

A couple of quick suggestions.

Go to Hobby Lobby or Hobby Bench and get a painters palate. I got one for $5, a plastic tray with 12 little clear cups with caps. Great for mixing up test juices. Label the caps 1-12. Easier to keep track if you are trying multiple mixes. If anyone wants, I can try to post a pic later today or tomorrow.

If you don't want to mess with high nicotine liquids you have to base down, remember there are companies like Wizard Labs that offer pre mixed nicotine bases in every PG/VG combo from 12mg nicotine up.

Next, when trying new recipes, start with the following. 20 drops base liquid, 1 drop flavor. This gives you 5% flavoring. If not enough, add one more drop flavor and 2 drops base. This makes 10% flavor, and so on. This allows you to test a flavor without mixing a lot of juice.

I will confess, I bought a lot of TFA flavors and was extremely frustrated trying to get something that wasn't perfumey or weak with most all of them. Wasn't a total loss, because I made a great cinnamon/menthol. Also, I was able to get a good recipe with their Double RY4. After doing more reading, most people recommended Capella's for beginners and others. I ordered some flavors from them, and what a difference. Mixed them straight from the bottle at 15% and they are great. (BTW I was chasing fruity flavors).

Take notes, if nothing else, trust me on this, take notes! You think you will remember it, but chances are you won't, and will kick yourself because you can't duplicate a flavor.

Finally, don't give up. Mixing your own means never worrying about running out of juice, total control over the quality, and substantial savings.

Good Luck!

Mark

Congrats on being a "grand" QRXT!

Awsum

What is your favorite tobacco flavor and do you have a recipe?

I have two favorite at the moment. 60/40-12mg with about 3% WL Tobacco Absolute (ALC) and another with the same base and 2.5% each WL Tobacco Absolute (ALC), Chocolate and Caramel Cappucino. I'm going to fool with the last one a little more and may add coffee and/or switch the chocolate to bittersweet chocolate.

Okay, Awsum, I have the tobacco absolute from WL. I have pg, vg and 60mg nic.

Basilor when you say:

Okay, I did get the Wizard Lab flavors and boysenberry was indeed perfumey. I added a couple of things to it to try to tone down the perfumey factor and now I need to vape it to see how that went. From what you are saying, I will go with Capella next time. What is your Double Ry4 recipe??? I actually got the Asian Ry4 from WL.
