Coffee and pumpkin bread!!! Thanks, I needed that.

Bluesman, I was wondering where Raven has been. Tell her she is in my thoughts.

Nice to see you here Bluesman.

Good Morning everyone !!!! Blues, the coffee and pumpkin bread is delicious, sure hits the spot !!!
How is Rave today? How are things at the farm/ranch?

Lizzie and Raynes, thank you for your words and thoughts. Sometimes the MS grabs hold of Raven and she has to take it easy and let things get to a point where she can manage things in a "normal" way. Raven is a very tough person. She'll be back soon. I know she appreciates your friendship.

I hate to be intrusive since the on line conversations are with people who have a right to do other things besides be on line on my favorite chat thread but I have been hoping Raven starts feeling better soon. She is quite the gal.

Oh MAN I just got my first manual X2 and I love this thing!!! My cigar vapes taste like cigars now instead of just smelling like them!!!!
You all have a GREAT night

I've started liking the manual too. Much more flavor! Maybe since I got rid of menthol mouth I now can pick up the taste much better. Oh my love affair with RY4 continues. Can't wait to get my twist... RY4 in T3... I'll probably be swooning in vape heaven!

Lizzie, you're not being intrusive at all. Raven understands your concern is based on friendship. Most importantly, Raven appreciates your concern and friendship. And, yes, I must agree. She is quite the gal!!!

Have you tried the CE3's? I have some but don't like them because of syringe-fill...too much work for me and I'm clumsy with trying to refill them when there is still some juice inside. Others swear by them though.

Bluesman, I was wondering where Raven has been. Tell her she is in my thoughts.

Nice to see you here Bluesman.

Well, had a crazy day yesterday. Got my cleaning done and then I am driving home. I turned at the cut off and I was thinking "I am on the home stretch" About a hundred feet later I hear a huge ka boom. I'm thinking I couldn't have hit anything cause I would have seen any rock that was that could make that big of a noise. When I pull over and shut her down, I see that my Toyota Forunner is driping radiator fluid and there is something in the road. I walked back and picked up some sharp pieces so no one would get a flat tire I got the hood open. The fan had come apart in a catastrophic failure. There is fan pieces everywhere. The air filter is dented. The radiator looks bad!!!!

This is when living in the cell phone era is the best!!! I was hoping someone would drive by that I knew but no one did. I called down my list of neighbors and friends and on the third try, I found someone who could pick me up. She was so sweet and wouldn't even take gas money. Then, I got the animals fed and the goat shed some clean straw. Everyone needed water.

I get into the house and one of my other neighbor's calls. When is Hubby going to be home? Did we want him to help get the truck on his car hauler trailer? I didn't know when Hubby was coming home but I sure appreciated the offer and volunteered to go with him so we could get the truck loaded before dark. He wouldn't take any gas money either. Said Hubby helped pull him out of the sand the other day and I could NOT give him any money for gas.

So, I may have a $300 or $400 just in parts job here but I sure do feel good that I have such kindly neighbors that would help me out like that. Hubby has already ordered the fan and the shroud over the internet. The fan clutch and the radiator are available at the parts store in Dayton. We may get my Toy back on the road this weekend. We shall see. In the meantime, having the extra truck we bought for hauling the horse trailer is going to pay off since I can still go to town and get my hair cut today. Gotta look cute for the company Christmas party on Saturday. Plus, it is fun to drive that truck with its 454 engine.

Wow Lizzie! It's good that you have great neighbors to help like that. It would have been terrible if that had happened coming down that mountain road! Were you in the same truck? I still can't get over that!!

You all have a GREAT day,I have GOT to go shopping with my daughter. How can grown kids still manage to sound pitiful? Mine always start out with "Mom, I never get to see you,I miss our mother/daughter days, will you go shopping with me?" Stupid me says yes, and the day of this adventure I get to thinking, why do they miss me when they want to shop? When they were kids our special days consisted of horseback riding, rice krispy treats and rounding out the day with us all reading.
Now their grown and its shopping. What happened?

They became experts at manipulating our heartstrings. :)

Good to make your acquaintance, White Rabbit. A reference to Alice? Jefferson Airplane? Please enjoy the coffee.).

I am glad to join such an an illustrious group :thumb:

As far as my forum name and signature goes, I have been "The White Rabbit" since the days of CB Radio. That was my handle and I have always had a white car or truck. I missed going to "Woodstock" in 1969 (I was 25 years old, a child of the 60s, but married and working long hours) I was and still am a fan of Jefferson Airplane and they had this song "White Rabbit" on their 1967 album Surrealistic Pillow, and it became one of Rolling Stone's 500 top hits of all time. Here is a link if you want to hear it:

I am The White Rabbit on numerous other forums, so I stick with it.

Well, I just laughed my way through catching up on the thread. It was good to see that TK and Wuzz were here. I had almost forgotten how crazy (and witty) TK is.

Debra, you did quite the job keeping up with TK. I'm impressed! So funny.

Blues, I'm sorry to hear Rave is feeling bad. Let her know I'm thinking of her and hope she gets back to her usual self quickly.

Sandy, I was glad to read your posts and see how you're doing. Rehab is tough, but it sounds like you're doing well with it. I'm glad you're now able to visit Penny.

Okay....now that I caught up on this thread I'm going to take a lunch and coffee break before tackling all the others. lol

Nope, that was the old '78 4 wheel drive Chevy short bed we took up the mountain. I don't think it has ever actually left us stranded but we came close when the lights started strobing one night on the way home. No way were we going to be able to drive home with that mess going on. Hubby got them working and we didn't try the high beams again until we got home.

My 4 wheel drive vehicle is a '92 Toyota Forunner. Over the years I have been broken down a number of times. It is because we just don't buy newer vehicles. Hubby knows how to work on cars and I am frugal. It is pretty difficult to work on a lot of the newer vehicles and you have to spend a lot more to buy a newer vehicle. I like paying cash and then spending on repairs once in awhile compared to making car payments every month.

The Toyota lost a funky water pump bracket thingey when we were in Wyoming. The belts came off. I wonder if it weakened the fan. Also wondering if the fan clutch froze up suddenly. At least it is all fixable.

You can always know it's a 60s person when they say "Airplane" and not "Starship." I was always more partial to the British rock because of its deep blues influence. But that whole Airplane, Grateful Dead, Quicksilver, etc. music was good.

I was touring Vietnam at the time of Woodstock, so I was a no-show as well.

Good morning and afternoon to everyone, it is still morning for me lol. My hubby works nights so I tend to follow his hours. I always enjoy reading all the posts here but it's usually hours after the fact and the conversation moves along so I just hit the like button, my way of appreciating all that has been shared.

Hope you feel better really soon Rave, you too Sandy! I'm sending healing thoughts to you both.

I am nursing my dog today, he had surgery yesterday. I put it off for a year, was so afraid to have him put under and as it turns out it was pretty hard on him. He is 9 years old but you would never know it watching him zoom around just like a pup. He had a lump on his side that his harness rubbed against, vet said it was just fatty tissue and he will heal fine. But, I feel so guilty for taking him in and all. I did explain it to him, my hubby rolled his eyes, but hey, he is my constant companion and loves me with his whole heart (which is huge by the way) and I thought he deserved the explanation! Glad it is over and he is home with me to watch over him.

Awww QRXT! They really do love with their WHOLE heart. What's his name? Hope he heals quickly.

Our little fur babies are so precious and they know exactly how to comfort us when we need it. So we have to do what it takes to take care of them. :)

Well looks like Mack is livin the life! Is he a Jack Russell? Too cute!!

He's a Smooth Fox Terrier. Usually both his ears are folded down, he was just being a ham!:) I'm having a heck of a time keeping him away from his staples, I think I may have to get him a onesy. The ace bandage I wrapped him in slides away. I'm just happy he's doing well enough to start getting nosy about it.
