Heh, I am exactly $48.50 ahead vaping. August is the only month since May that SI did not get some of my money.

Early on, I decided to keep track on a spreadsheet all my purchases. Everything including juices, batteries, and DIY stuff.

I was spending $120 a month on stinkies....4 cartons at $30 ea...roll your own type.

Every time I place one of these orders, I think I am set for a long long time, lol. Now I know better.

And wouldn't you know, they are already out of the replacement heads so will be ordering some of those when available probably.

And, they are still out of 900mah blue manuals, so ordered a 650. I have a system now where I recharge one every night whether it blinks or not. This will allow me to constantly have 3 batteries in use, which I like. 1 cinnamon, 1 RY4, 1 fruity type, good combo for me.

I'm hoping the T3's can handle Cherry Blossom, the only flavor I've had a issue with in clearomizers. It melted the drip tip, but it appears to me that the tips on the T3 are not really exposed to the juices. We'll see. I like the flavor enough, I have decided to order blank cartos if it damages the T3.

Good Morning Basilor,
No way I am ever going to get ahead, but I hope I am healther

I made my own cigarettes for years using a Premier Automatic Machine. I was making good quality filtered cigarettes for (believe this) +/- $7.00 per carton. One pound of tobacco @ $13.00 plus two cartons of filtered tubes @ 1.99 each made two and one half (2.5) cartons of smokes. That actually comes out to $6.79 per carton, and lasted me almost two months. Granted the machine was $50.00, but I used it for years.

Vaping is loads more expensive, but the wife is happy, and if the wife isn't happy, NOBODY IS HAPPY  and besides I can now vape in the house all day long.

Kinda the same here, there was a smoke shop nearby where you paid $30 and got a tub of tobacco. You poured it into the top of one of their automatic machines and inserted the cartridge with the empty tubes. Then you sat in front of this machine for about 10 minutes while it went ker-thunk ker-thunk and spit cigarettes out into a empty tub at the bottom. So you sat there catching stinkies and putting them into your carton box.

Towards the end, I sat there looking around saying to myself "what the heck are you doing, this is stupid".

You have some cheap stinkies, $60+ for cartons here in Texas, we pay close to $7.50 a pack

The price is basically the same here in Phoenix, however we are surrounded by Indian reservations. Still, a carton of Marlboro's there costs about $52.00.

I read somewhere recently that Chicago passed higher taxes on stinkies. I think there now you pay about $6.70 in taxes alone! But they are still behind New York.

When it gets big enough, I bet they are going to try to find a way to tax it. Think about all the taxes lost from just us in this forum. Think about the children! (Hehe, voters passed a 50¢ per pack tax a while back to fund education, they actually said they put it on stinkies because they figured most people were non smokers and loved the idea of taxing smokers).

I smoked Benson & Hedges menthol lights for 30 some years but switched over to Newports when the B&H went up to nearly $9 pk. When I started Newports, they were $7.50 pk. and were going to have $1 additional tax applied. Glad I started vaping when I did.

I can see why you DIY since you rolled your own. I'm sure I could have saved some money if I did that but.... I'm a ready-made gal.

We could drive this winter but I had a lot to do and I have been working on building up our confidence around dogs and desensitization and building a stronger bond. The biggest problem out here is the wind. It's just too windy to go driving a lot of days so far this winter. Sometimes the springtime is way windy. In the summer you basically need to get him out early because the wind can really come up by the afternoon.

I probably will get him back into the cart sometime this winter if I can get the girth around him but with all that hair, that may not happen:) Honestly, I don't like my harness and think I will order a new one. I am online on the miniature horse forum to try to figure out more on that issue.

The bridle has been adjusted and adjusted by me, by my super mechanical Hubby, by Cliff the guy who has had big draft horses and little miniature horses. The right blinker just does not sit properly no matter what we do. It isn't a deal breaker since I have been driving him just fine anyway but I am ready to throw it in the trash and get a better one. I think it is a cheap piece of dirt.

The harness is also cheaply made, doesn't have proper turrets for the reins to go through, doesn't have enough adjustment in the girth and no one can figure out the breeching straps that came with it. It must be missing a few pieces or something. Jan never used breeching but I would like to be using it so that Wiseguy has better brakes and going down hill would be doable. We don't have many hills here and miles of flat but I want to be able to go other places with him and there could be hills. Oh yeah, and the breast strap has this fluffy pad that you velcro around it and that thing is always moving to one side or the other.

I am ready to make an investment in a more suitable harness. I've lived with this one for long enough. I'll have to save up for January, February from my cleaning jobs. Eventually, I also might get a lighter weight cart but let's just spend our money a little at a time!!! My current cart is an excellent Jerald Easy Entry cart with wooden shafts but I might look for a CDE oriented cart.

Ask your forum about a biothane harness. One plus to biothane is that it doesn't need to be maintained as does leather. You can just hose it off and wipe it down, no saddle soap, oiling, etc. Biothane has come a long way since it first was used for horses, and some of it feels a lot like very supple leather. Whether this would be good for a whole harness or just the bridle part, I don't know, but I bet someone on your forum would. However, I hear it's hard to find stuff small enough for minis. Pony stuff is too big, and it has to be specialized. Maybe you'd have to get one custom made. I've heard this place is good for biothane tack, though I'm not sure if they now do custom stuff or if that was in the old days. RUNNING BEAR - biothane, endurance, trail riding, tack Biothane comes in lots of color choices, so you could get some wild, outrageous color of harness, if you wanted, like hot pink or lime green or lavender. Might look flashy.

As for the part that Velcros onto his harness but slips, could it be that the Velcro has become clogged with hair and other debris and isn't sticking like it used to? A good thing to clean Velcro of all that stuff that sticks to it is one of those fine, prickly dog brushes. Just brush the junk out of the Velcro. There are Velcro brushes out there, but I think they are more expensive than the dog brushes, and they work the same. I got my dog brush in the Free box at a yard sale, which is the best bargain you can find.

Mini, Pony, Marathon Harness, Bridles, reins, bell boots,

Right now this is my top contender. I am doing more research though.

The Comfyfit harness is made of a high quality biothane with leather lining. Has a padded breast collar and has a "tree" in the saddle available to keep the pressure off the little goober's spine. The "padding" is a treated leather that you apparently can simply wash up and dry. Several people love the ease of cleaning. Of course, breeching is available. They are apparently easy to talk with and will be very helpful in deciding on the right set up for your miniature horse by all accounts I've read on the mini horse site.

You can also buy individual pieces should you want to replace any one item on the harness.

Also, you can get a breast collar that dips in the middle to let you little horse breathe better. It doesn't block his esophagus easily.

No the velcro is fine it is the way the velcro on the pad wraps around the breast band and doesn't actually tack onto the breast band so it slips around to one side or the other..

Hey, Wabbit is Back,
You guys must have a lot of horse :censored: around, can you e-mail me some for my garden? :mail::shock:

I have been chatting on the DYI forum after receiving my new flavors from Wizard Labs. For the life of me I can't mix a decent flavor from 13 that I have tried so far. Some say I am using toooooo much flavor %, and recommend things like 1 drop per 10 ML of base. Other than the coffee concentrate, how can that taste or smell like anything? I will keep trying.

That site looks very complete. I'm sure you will find what you want there. Obviously, when it comes to harness, you know a lot more than I do. I think with a harness that fits well, Wiseguy will be very happy. In fact, he may even spook less, since discomfort can make a horse tense, and a tense horse is more likely to feel defensive and spook. That's not to say that a new harness with solve the problem completely, but it may be a big help. At least, proper saddle fit can help, and I'd think harness fit might be just as important.
