Penny the Horse is such a pretty color. I love seeing kids getting a chance to be around animals. It is mind and heart expanding.

Exactly! Kids need to be around animals. I believe that there is a whole 'nother side of our personalities that develops when we have exposure to nature and animals when we are children.

Good Morning Volties!

I needed to get up early today because I seem to be moving in slow mode. There's a lot that I need to get accomplished before tomorrow. So! The coffee's on and hot. We've got cinnamon spice today. Have a great day everyone. :)

So as a few of you may recall, about a month ago I started vaping after not being a smoker for 4 years. I vape 0 nic, I dunno, maybe a carto full or two a day just to guess. Love the smoking without the smoke negatives. Anyway, I have noticed ever since day one that I have a very dry throat at night, like our house humidifier is not working, only worse, and I wake up with hard mucus in my nose and mostly stopped up in the nose. Also my sinuses hurt a bit. None of this is a disaster but this has been ever since the day I started vaping and never before that. Is it possible this is a reaction to the PG or VG? Is there anything to do about it? I've never had to drink many fluids during the day and prefer not to do it now, any other experiences out there?

Sorry, Unhooked, but Vaping is drying to the body. You really need to hydrate all day if you vape. Please search "reactions to vaping" in the forum threads and you will see some of the reactions. Some say it is the PG, and some say VG, who knows yet.

Hope you feel better soon. Merry Christmas.

Well Volties - Bluesman says "Hello to all my friends!" It wouldn't surprise me terribly if he stops in soon. He's in the cardiac ward as of today. His BP, rhythm, and oxygen levels are all good. The man is tough as nails. He'll try to get on the net tomorrow. They will be letting him get up and move around tomorrow. On Tuesday, he will start some physical therapy. He's in good spirits I'm told. I still haven't spoken to him personally. His friend is still relaying messages back and forth between the two of us. So! It's good news on Blues!

That is such good news! What a wonderful way to start this Christmas Eve day.

Unhooked, vaping causes your body to lose moisture. All who vape need to drink a lot of water.

Well folks, in about 20 minutes I will be heading out to play Santa's helper with a lot of other folks. This makes my Christmas, it truly is better to give than receive. As I said before, we will be delivering presents to hundreds of children this morning complete with Santa and elves. Seven or Eight routes each with a Santa and elves and TONs of presents. The parents of each family have been advised to be home between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM and to expect Santa. Our church has been doing this for 20 years called Santa's Angels. I know I posted this before, please excuse and old man for bragging about his Christmas fantasy.

Love sharing experiences here on the forum, you are all such warm and friendly folks. Be well my friends, enjoy the best holiday of the year, although Easter is a favorite of Wabbit

When I was a kid, I had a friend who had a dog like that. Its breed was a toy Manchester terrier. Are the breeds related?

No. A lot of people think that Min Pins are a smaller version of the Doberman and they are not. Min Pin heritage is Dachshund, Italian Greyhound, and Whippet. No terrier in them at all, although with their personalities you'd think they would!

When you vape, you have to drink more fluids than normal. That's just the way it is. I think that's probably the cause of your dryness.

I'm getting the same thing, and I've found it helps to listen to your body.

For example i CRAVE water, weird i know, but i know I'm about to get dehydrated when i crave it.

Problem is i drink a lot of tea when i vape, which can dehydrate you too from what i hear. I'm forced to drink a ton of water because of it, which make me sick of water. hahaha.

Absolutely, positively , drink lots of water. PG is a descant & it will cause you to become severely dehydrated if you don't replenish your body moisture.
