So much sorrow lately! What's going on? I have some roses to give everyone a lift.

Maybe we can all send you some hand warmers! That's just too cottin pickin cold!
LOL! Maybe I can slide a couple in my socks! ( thinks me should have bought that pair of electric socks instead of the halter!)
Tried to upload a picture of the group but it will not display correctly. I see that the other pictures that people post are linked, rather than posted. When I try to post my collage of everyone, it posts rather small. Maybe I'll try a link.

Nice job!

So, I've made progress in my short vaping journey. I was in a meeting today that lasted over 2 hours. When I used to smoke, I would be clock watching after 30 minutes to know how much time I had to wait for my next smoke. A meeting that long would be excruciating to sit through and I would lose my concentration easily with my mind drifting off to how I needed a cigarette fix.

Today, I sat in the meeting and didn't even look at the clock. I actually thought about my new twist sitting at home once, and it didn't make me jittery thinking I needed to vape. I dismissed the thought and set my mind on the meeting again. I didn't get the "crazies" from not vaping during that meeting and could have gone longer.

I'm really starting to see the benefits of vaping. And best of all, it was so nice to not smell like a filthy ashtray in a meeting of non smokers!
Yup! And realizing you might "choose" to run / jog - because you CAN! Reading through the posts - it occurred to me the crazies must come from the other chemicals - too many are noticed that same calm or "wow - it's been_ hours since...."

ok guys you have shared your health issues...ok ill tel you mine...when mum was prego wth me...she nearly lost me...4 times...at 2mths...bad car accident...5mths house fire a lamp fell over...lucky to get out alive. 7mths had a bad fall in bath tub..when I was born cord was wrapped around my neck...air was cut to right side of my brain..doctors told mum.only a min...or so...your daughter would be mentaly ......ed...but there was trouble for me in my early days...I could never learn stuff right at school...I cant study well my brain shuts down...I had cat scans...there is times my brain shuts down...doctors told mum...im am what they call boader line...which makes it hard...so that's why im very bad at spelling...I cant do things to quick...I have panic attacks...so learning this comp stuff...is so hard for me...sorry to go on...but that's life have to deal with the cards where dealt with...and as my magic nan said...there will always be people better and worse then ourselves...its our journey in this life
OMGOSH! We are doubly blessed to have you!
I love it! I've taken photos of old, abandoned farm machinery, but it's all newer than what you found. I wonder where the old stuff is. Long gone, I suppose.
I believe it's fairly safe to say the old stuff has been "scrapped" for cash. At least that's what happened around here.
You can add another "wow"!
Love the pic of the plow too - Butch!

Just got back from a Lodge Meeting and trying to catch up. Lots of concerns, issues etc. We all seem to feel each others pain and worries. I got no jokes tonight, I'll have to dig some more up. Sorry if I photoshopped some pics to eliminate smoke, batteries etc., but I think it made them look better. Here is one thought for the day for everyone I think:

I'm sure I must sound like a baby... whining about something so small compared to what you are facing. You have a major hurtle to overcome and are handling this admirably. Working hard and following instructions from your PT. I hope with your next appointment they will be more optimistic that no further surgery will be needed.
No JoAnn,you don't sound like a baby. Its great that your cholesterol meds are being reduced, and you haven't gained wt. Focus on the positive. Your doing GREAT !!!

Oh Debra that is so sad. I'm so sorry for your friend's loss

Bummer boo hoo! Dumped the last of the Cool Melon (vape dudes) into a mini vivi - doggone it's one that leaks!
I am puzzled. So many people talk about having been a pack a day smoker and now vaping 5-10 mil a day...
Pretty sure I'm under 3 mil? Wondering how that happened!

I'm feeling the same urgency to stock up - vape supplies & ammo.
Bro had me order some stuff from Sportsmans Guide - they had a good sale on some ammo. After the order was placed the confirmation email states the ammo will ship in SEPT!

I had the urge to purchase a 9mm Smith and Wesson or Glock. Went to a place called Green Top in Richmond Va while I was visiting my grandkids and the place was just packed. The store was as big as a Gander Mountain (which it originally was) and I had to stand in line for 15 to 20 minutes just to preview the guns I was interested in. Things are getting really wierd lately. Even Mrs. Wabbit who normally just tolerates guns said it was OK to try one out as long as I taught her how to use it. Now that is really wierd.

It's a shame that first order was lost. Something should be done about that.

Right now, I'm vaping on NiQuid's Sinnamon. It came in my last order with Butterscotch - LOVE both! Yesterday I couldn't put the butterscotch down. Now I can't put the Sinnamon down. This new liquid line is absolutely delicious! SI made a wise choice going with this company. All the flavors are exact and very clean tasting. I had the Sinnabun but didn't really care for the lingering pastry aftertaste. My daughter was glad to take that one off my hands along with the Biscotti. The Mint chocolate was just ok to me... kind of weak flavor. She scavanged that one too. Now their chocolate has a good rich flavor. These are the sweet vapes that I've sampled.

I'm not a big tobacco fan but RY4 has me addicted to it... That really is my #1 start-the-day-with-coffee morning everyday favorite. Because I like RY4, I decided to try Midnight Express. Took a couple of hits and put it away. No way... hated it. Decided to try a week later and it slowly grew on me. Not bad. Not great but it's vapable to me now. That will be an occasional vape. It seems to have a dark, sultry mysterious taste if that makes sense... complex may be a better term. The Strawberry Fuzz is Southern Freeze without menthol. I like the Southern Freeze better. I'm a menthol kind of girl. Variety is the spice of my life and I will be sampling more.

So glad that you liked the Sinnamon. Sinthol is good to. I didn't care for the Midnight Express either. It has a nutty taste to it to me.

You should try the Bahama Blizzard. I'm not a menthol smoker, but I like it to wake my taste buds up. I just got some Mint chocolate chip in. Will be trying that out this week! I did order the strawnanna and peach. Looking forward to trying them too!

I did try a few others that were omitted. Loved the strawnanna smoothie... so good and I keep a clearo of it ready. I bought the 10ml size first and love it so much that I got 30 ml when I ordered more. Also like the Bahama Blizzard too. You can taste the cranberry that does cleanse the palate. It's very refreshing. I still have some of the 10ml bottle left and will probably get another 10ml size on my next order. My next order is on hold waiting for the Volt spinner to come in. Can't decide if I want purple or red. Let us know how you like the peach.

I can relate to Mrs.Wabbit. I've always been terrified of hand guns, but I scared enough a few yrs back that I went and got one. Its a S&W.357 revolver. My husband bought me a .38 Taurus last July. Since then he has stocked up on ammo, you would think we live on the Mexican border. Around here you can't find shells hardly.

You had a rough start in life Debra! I think all the things that have gone wrong with our bodies is a test of our strength and perseverance. We all learn to live with what we've got whether it be easy or hard. You have the right mindset to deal with what you've been born with. Keep faith in yourself!

For all the horse folks here:

I should have realized this was the thread that you were talking about. That's the one that got me so upset yesterday. I'm not sure if I got to page 12 yet or not but I can just imagine. I will read more of it, but not right now. I'm tired of being upset right now.

Oh Girl, you are such a cutey pie! You don't look 50 not even close to it and I mean looking much much younger than that. Alice is a beauty. You should have her picture as your avatar. ;)

This is your week to whine. Mine was last week, when the surgeon suggested another operation. Since I got that news, I've calmed down some. I'll keep on doing the physical therapy, discuss it with my physical therapist when she has all the info, and till then, there's not much I can do about it but do my exercises every day. I am getting better all the time, so it does look hopeful. You are allowed to whine, and I know just how you feel when you expected better news than you got. You go to the doctor all hopeful and proud of yourself and come out deflated. That's how I felt after my appointment with the surgeon, anyway. I bet you feel similar, all proud of how far you've come with vaping, then to be told it's business as usual. Just remember that getting upset about it isn't helping your blood pressure, and there's nothing you can do but go on as you have been and hope it'll be a better checkup next time. I think with some of the blood pressure meds, it's dangerous to take someone off cold turkey, so maybe that's why you still have to take them but at a reduced dose. Maybe Raynes knows if that's so. She knows a lot about meds.

Sandy is right,BP meds need to be reduced,if you are under a great deal of stress, the last thing you want is the Dr reducing your BP meds. Better to take them than to run the risk of a stroke or heart attack.
