Ah, you're just a kid, Celtic. You missed out on the greatest years that this country had. The postwar years !!!!!I let ya know when I get there.
I grew up in the 1950s and 1960s and up to 1963, they were fantastic times !!!!!
Actually I was referring to the assassination of JFK in November 1963, Sandy. After that, it was all downhill and still going downhill as far as I am concerned.

I was told by a gas station clerk that I look 14! Ha! I blame it on my mother, my sister (2 yrs my senior), on the other hand, looks 35
Celtic, I was 21, had just gotten out of the Army and I went into a liquor store for a 6 pack of brew. The clerk ID'ed me and when he saw my ID, he said that it was my older brother's ID and that I was too young to buy alcohol. I got angry, told him that I don't have an older brother and I told him a few other things, too. 
He sold me the beer, but he still thought that I was a minor.

I grew up rather quickly, I always was the most mature in my school. While all the girls ran around dressed like they were going for Hooters auditions, I wore jeans and hoodies! I loathe how women nowadays display their bodies as if it were for sale! It makes me shudder how I would've been treated if I had been dressed as such. I probably shoulda been born fifty+ years ago, I would have fit in more!

Nope, 50 years ago, you would have been wearing a mini skirt and a tight blouse, Celtic. They were strutting their stuff back then, too.

when i was 33 i was looking like a 22 but when i got 36 I was looking like a 45
