You weren't looking where I was then. I found better prices. There was a large set that was expensive, but I doubt I need more than 5 of each.
Right. I was just looking for a single pointy.

But that person won't bid 50 cents while I do. They'll wait till I bid and then beat it. Right? I guess I don't thoroughly understand how to play the system with eBay.
Sandy, as an eBay "sniper" with some years of experience here's my tricks...
Watch, don't bid. Watch the bid history as the bidding progresses to see who's a "die hard" and who's just mildly interested. Be on the auction just before it closes, then bid two increments higher than the highest bid plus some odd pennies. An increment is the minimum amount for the next highest bid. For example, the item is currently at 11.50 and the auction closes in 30 seconds. The increment is .50 (normally I think) so bid 12.93 or even 13.11. Nine out of ten times, you'll win.
The keys are to bid at the last possible second and bid over by an odd number. Most people bid even amounts, so the odd pennies will help improve your odds of winning. Now this doesn't get you the lowest price possible, but if you want an item, it will usually work out.
Whoa! Wouldn't this make a cool graphite drawing?

It could be a White Siberian Tiger, Sandy. Although there is no proof of their existence, there have been rumors of them existing. Perhaps a bit of artistic license in the drawing?
Do it then. My only problem with it is that it's already artwork, and I like to work from photos. Actually, it looks like the trees are real, and someone added the tiger. I'm not sure if it looks like he really belongs. There's definitely something strange about it. Rave? Want to say what is strange that I'm seeing? I'm not quite sure.
I wasn't thinking of the kind of tiger as much as the way it's sitting in that woodland path. It looks out of proportion or something. Something just doesn't look natural about it, though certainly people have every right to distort reality. Maybe the artist wanted that sort of disturbing feeling.
I see what you mean, Sandy....I think. It looks to me like it is somewhat alarmed and debating whether to attack or run.
My guess is the tiger was added to the woods photo.
Here's my redo. I hope I didn't miss anything or mess anything up.

You really nailed that "tilda"!
There's still something different about the hindquarters. Look at how they are more tucked under him in the photo.
Added: Now I think I see what to do! Bring that dark line dividing the body from the tail down and under him more. That very bottom part is not his body; it's the beginnings of his tail. Also more highlight and dark to show the shape of the hip. You know, the part that's called the stifle in a horse and the knee joint in a human.
Siberian tigers have heavier coats especially in winter, and I don't believe that there are any white Siberian tigers in the wild. This is a PhotoShop job. Just look at the extreme blending where the tiger makes contact with the snow in the front. It's absolutely beautiful, but not at all believable. Just my![]()
Now I see it plainly. The side of his body is flat.
I wonder how many times I'm going to have to scan this bugger before I see what you guys see. AND I wonder how many times I'm going to scan this bugger before I stop seeing stuff that's not right that you guys haven't mentioned. Sheesh!
Thanks for explaining this hindquarters problem.
This is part of the fun of it, isn't it? (I'm joking. It would be fun if we could get it right the first time, IMHO.) Consider it a learning experience.
Once you get the hindquarters looking right, it's done as far as I can see.
I guess I should start Gabe instead of just thinking about it.
