I love this forum, and the people who post here. Real people.

Kia I think you are awesome. :)
I finally got my Volt X 650 manual. I totally love it. I am in love, I'm in love, I'm in love. :) Did I mention that I love it? I also got the clearomizers to go with! And I totally LOVE them too!

Question: The cute lil cover up thing for the end (can't remember what they call it) is not supposed to fit over the clearomizers, right? It just won't fit. Looks like it might fit over a regular cart.......which I am totally NEVER going back to. LOL

another question: The battery is charged up when the indicator stays blue, right? It came already charged. How friggen cool is that?
I just have to keep remembering to push the damn button. hahahah I have only had it in hand a few minutes.

did I mention I was excited? I am excited! I am in my tenth level of personal happiness here!;)
hugs

You know, I didn't come to ECF for a while because another forum I started with was so anti-ECF. I came over here when I found Smokeless Image. I've ventured out into the other forums here at ECF, but I don't think I want to do that any more. There are good things to be had on ECF, but so much of it is buried in the mire of self opinionated, banshee wailing, holier-than-thou, and only-I-have-the-true-meaning-of-life schmuckheads, that I just really don't think I want to be associated with them.

Do ya'll mind if I just stay in Voltville? No one here has ever made me feel belittled.

:(

That guy hangs out in the newcomers forum because newcomers that don't know anything about vaping are the only ones he stands a chance of impressing or getting to believe his Bovine Scat. He constantly contrandicts himself with kindergarten math and could walk into an empty room, close the door and start an argument. I've seen him tell people his join date and post experience make him more knowledgeable than them when the fact is his theories about cig like vaporizers are totally outdated and only apply to the old 150mah or less style. I doubt seriously if he's ever even tried a second gen 808 Volt or otherwise. Just because you sleep in a garage for 20 years it doesn't make you a VolksWagon. I cringe everytime I see people recomend a changeable battery device to a newcomer without knowing anything about their knowledge or skill level with Lithium batteries. I've got him on ignore so the only time I have to see what he types is if somebody quotes him. It's sad that he runs so many really helpful people out of the newcomers forum.

I just knew who Kia was talking about before I saw his post...sure enough, it was who I thought it was. I've seen that happen a few times.

Ditto. Some of his posts I've seen actually violate ECF rules. I think quite a few people knew who Kia was talking about without looking. Sorry for the rant but I get a little ticked off when somebody attacks someone as nice and helpful as Kia.

Morri, you're sweet!

The battery is charged up when the indicator turns off. Blue means not fully charged yet. Although there is charge in them, you're still going to have to charge them full. Oh, and the light under the button will start flashing when it is time to charge the battery again. It's really subtle, though, so if you start drawing just air... :)

And we are really happy you're excited! Totally happy to have you with us.

Oh, and I hadn't thought about the cone for the X2's, but you're probably right in that they are only able to go over carts. I didn't get one, I didn't feel I needed to cover up anything on my beautiful X2's.

But Morri, tell us, are ya excited?!

Kia is right when she replied above that the X2 is done charging when the blue light goes off. They come with some charge, but you'll need to top it off.

The cone will not fit over the clearos and when you put one on, you'll see why. It screws onto the same threads that the clearo uses. Besides, the clearos are so pretty, who'd wanna cover 'em with a cone? Standard cartos on the X2 however: The cone smooths the look.

Congrats on your X2 !! :)

Was wondering if there was any talk of ever offering smaller sizes of the juices so that we can try them? I'd love to try others but don't really want to be stuck with a 30ml bottle of something I don't like. I tried doing it by just getting a different flavor in prefilled cartos thinking I use them anyway but it was just as much a waste because I disliked it and couldn't get the flavor out to re-use them with my other juices :(

I'd love to be able to pay a couple of bucks for a 5 ml bottle and sample quite a few I've been interested in...

I think that was a big "no" the last time this came up. But you can get that old juice out. No problem! If a regular cleaning doesn't work, try swishing it around in some straight PG and alcohol (vodka, PGA,...would probably work without it too), or get some Flavor Eraser (google it and you'll get a lot of places that carry it), let it soak overnight, then Taryn spin it out and refill.

I go through a crazy cleaning cycle that gets everything out (too embarrassing to share), but this worked for Esoterica, who's neck 'n neck with Rave for flavor affinity! :p

Well I leave for a day and all hell breaks loose. Someone attacked Kia? Why would someone do that? Kia is one of my friends and I just hate for anyone to get attacked. It just isn't right. I think I know who you are talking about on the newbie thread. He is always the one pushing eGo's and Rivas. Mods are a different story. To tell you the truth, I have bought a few, and then sold them on the classies. They scare me a little, even though I feel like I've read every topic over at Battery University. Lithium batteries pack a punch, and I know SI has their stuff together.

I am sorry you were attacked Kia. ((((Kia)))

Kia, try not to let this place we call the internet get you down. I know that is easier said than done at times. I hope you and everyone in Voltville have a much better day!

BTW - I'm at it with the mods again, so if I disappear then you all will know what happened.

Bah, no disappearing from us.

But, ok, we'll know. We'd just rather it not happen. :(

And here I am up again, at the very wrong time. This insomnia at night stuff is really hurting me. And I vaped 0 nic this last evening, too.
If this is just an occasional problem for you, you could try taking Melatonin at bedtime. You can take that for up to 2 weeks straight without negative effects. No longer than that though - you could screw up your own internal system for Melatonin production. I have a sleeping disorder (Delayed Circadian Rhythm) and this is what I do whenever I have to "reset my clock," or when I have to get somewhere early the next morning. The trick is to relax and not fight it. Once you start thinking things like "ugh, I can't sleep. Why can't I sleep?" it actually triggers a part of your brain to try to keep you awake (it doesn't discern the fact that you're actually trying to get to sleep). I also have looping DVDs of fun movies that I've seen a million times (haha, "Happy Feet") for nights when I have too much going on in my mind and my brain won't quiet down. Just lower the volume and concentrate on the movie (turn off all the other thoughts in your head) until it knocks you out. Then a couple of hours later when you wake up again, the movie's still on (it loops), so those thoughts that might be keeping you up don't get a chance to sneak back in!

Good luck! :)
