Semi, does your wife have Betty Rohde's cookbooks...So Fat, Low Fat, No Fat and MORE So Fat, Low Fat, No Fat? I make Hub the Banana Pudding recipe from her second book...very low fat and I substitute Splenda for the sugar. It tastes exactly like the fatty version Mama used to make.

No special cookbooks and we do not use sugar substitutes (they are bad for you)... We started about 3+ years ago just eating healthier (kind of like a diet)... I have lost over 30lbs so far and hope to lose 20 more. Almost everything we eat is either fresh or frozen. Almost nothing from cans or boxes (a few exceptions because that is the only way to get it). Almost no salt (herbs and spices instead), reduced sugar, reduced everything, etc...

For example when we make something and it calls for 5 cups sugar in the recipe - we use 1.5 cups or 2 if it has too, but no more... It works. I used to add salt to everything - even something that was cooked in soy sauce - I had to add salt. I used to use 3 teaspoons of sugar in my coffee - now I use 1/2 teaspoon or I drink black... Adjustments to my diet - not really a crash type diet... Holly's recipe will be adjusted, but it will be made (LOL)...

Hi everyone! Good news - the Volt X2 that I ordered on Sunday arrived this afternoon :toast: .... Bad news - it was DOA :( I contacted CS around 4pm - haven't heard anything back yet ....

It is Friday night so I'm sure things will get better. Wishing you each a good weekend.
