I have had only a few moments of "wanting" a stinkie within this time. I just found that if I played around with my volts (change their colour, dress em up or try a different flavoured juice) that took my mind of the horrible things and kept me happy & satisfied!

I would write more but I just read that back & can imagine everyone thinking that I play dress-ups with my volts ...hey that actually sounds like fun heheheeeee
We could have "gangster volt" "ballerina volt" "cowboy/cowgirl volts" "doctors n nurses" "bikies" "wolves & other critters" heyyyy I better stop cos now I'm thinking dressups to go with peoples usernames.......

Hello everyone! I'm new to the whole e-cig thing and ordered a Volt which should (fingers crossed) come in tomorrow I just wanted to stop in and say hi! I'm sure I'll be in here quite often lol. I hope to make a couple of friends here cuz y'all seem like really cool people! There is just sooo much great info here and everyone seems helpful. Gotta say congrats on the six months of smokefreeness, Enzusa. Awesome job, I hope i can do that soon too.

Awsum, it would be nice if labeled, but i can see why they dont tell more than pg, vg and nic content. ... some say what they don't contain which is good. i have seen some who warn if it has Tobacco absolutes too. Like Outlaw said they are just Nic, PG, VG and flavorings. I think its the flavoring to worry about. If its a standard e-juice, u can all most guess whats in it. I think if the FDA gets involved u are going to see prices double or triple. And i doubt the FDA will do a decent job policing everyone ... but thats just my thoughts.

Read up in the DIY forum if u want, there are some things like tobacco absolutes, oils and natural sweeteners are best avoided... some ppl but not all try to avoid artificial colors in flavoring too. here is a list of stuff from one big flavor vendor. with red bad, blue artificial colors which only some consider unsafe & green considered safe. Maybe read up on what u dont want in ur e-liquid and e-mail the vender to make sure no bad stuff is in there juices. I am sure a good vendor would not mind doing that, since it discloses nothing.

Thanks for the safe ingredients listing. Again, just basic contents seems like not asking too much. Does Drake's, Entenman's, TastyCake and Hosthess "hide" what goes into that great junk food? Another thought is that these are flavorings, meant to be added to food for consumption rather than added to a liquid that is atomized and inhaled, a far different thing. That makes knowing what's in it in at least a basic way even more key, at least in my mind. This isn't rocket science as is demonstarted by the fact that a lot of people mix their own liquids. As far as "hiding" what's in the "secret potion" so it can't be duplicated, it's just a matter of trial and error to duplicate any of this stuff, or if you're more sophisticated just get it analyzed. Reverse engineering seems to work for a lot of things. The basic fact is that those that want to mix their own, duplicate or replicate flavors will, ingredients list notwithstanding, while the majority, probably the large majority, will buy premixed liquids to avoid the hassles of mixing.

As an example, I found a liquid supplier local to me who shall remain nameless. I emailed asking what basic ingredients were used, onshore or offshore, did they use plastic or glass bottles and if there was a local spot where I could pick up. It's three weeks later and not even the coutesy of a reply. They are off my list of people to deal with to say the least.

Sometimes I think I should have used a different nickname, like "sinical" or "pita" (no not the bread!) or maybe "cantankerous".

Congratulations Enz! It can be a little hard at times staying away from cigarettes, but just being able to take a drag whenever that urge happens solves it for me. It's so great just to be able to take a drag, no lighter needed, then feeling obligated to smoke a whole cigarette 'cause you lit it up for a drag or two. Just take a drag and put it down, no problem, no ashtray and no tobacco! Sometimes life is good!

Given your dress-up comment, I won't tell you how I got the nickname "awsum" in the first place.

i used to drink coffee all day ... but i kinda lost a lot interested since vaping, so i am only having in the mornings now (lol, down to 2 pots a day).... but i could drink it easy at night. Occasionally i get the restless legs thingy, i think its half phyco-symtic but caffine does effect it too for me.

My parcel didn't come in today either Now it says it'll be here tomorrow, I guess I got my hopes up too high. Oh well The sooner I can get off stinkies the better! I ordered an orange 65mm auto in the basic pack<<<(I'm cheap, what can I say) and got the sweet sample pack to go with it. I'm debating which to try first... when it arrives.
