Cindy.... I used to pre cut, blanch and freeze all my vege's , and also make a weeks worth of sandwhich lunches and freeze them, cos i was too lazy to make them in the mornings. Then it was just take one out of the freezer and off to work
Life's really simple that way, right?
Burritos and rice bowls freeze the best! :thumb:

Hey Star, did you ever get an answer to your CYLAPLEX question?

Solar powered batt with USB clearo, 6600 mAh
You can use the batt to charge other USB devices as well.
They go for around $60 when you can find them in stock.
It would be sweet if that were the C5/Vision 2 (clearo with replaceable heads)

Since I can't do high impact exercizing I found a stationary bike that I liked. I put it together and moved some furniture around to make room for it and started 'biking' yesterday. It's really a lot of fun.

I can watch tv while I bike and could read (haven't tried to yet) but now I'm thinking about rigging a holder on the handlebars for my netbook. But before I do I wonder what you guys think...... would typing and pedaling at the same time be as difficult as walking and chewing gum?

Hi, Marlou. I have an exercycle, but I only watch TV or listen to music. On mine I move my arms as well as my legs. Good for you. Cycling is good for you. :)

I just recently found out that using an exercise bike is the best kind of exercise for people with bad knees. Arthritis is a real bummer. We need exercise but high impact exercise does more harm than good to arthritic knees. Besides the all-around benefits from exercise I hope the cycling will strengthen my legs, they're not strong like they were when I biked and took long walks. I know this won't cure arthritis, but strong legs should make it easier to deal with.

I'm convinced that exercise makes a lot of things easier to deal with, including depression and anxiety.

I read something that applies to that idea. It wasn't about exercise, per se, but just doing something. Can't remember the exact wording but it was something like -- doing does more good than crying.

You are inspiring me Marlou. Truly. I have this HealthRider and I used to work out on it for nearly an hour every morning. When I got MS, I was in a wheelchair for awhile. I didn't know that I would be able to get out of it, so I gave the HealthRider to my daughter. She hasn't been using it because she prefers a treadmill. When my neurologist pointed out to me the dips in my legs where entire muscles have just disappeared, I convinced her to let me borrow it back. I tried when she first brought it, but I couldn't convince my arm to get with the program. I know this all sounds very strange, but that's how MS works. You never really know at any given point in time what parts will cooperate with you. Anyhow, a HealthRider really kinda requires four limbs. Now my arm is back, but it's just so hard to do this. If you can do it with arthritis, then I can do this with atrophied muscles.

All I can say is that I feel for you Rave. I use an elliptical for the aerobic side of things and free weights for resistance training. I was a gym rat for a few years, for health reasons, and it sure does make a difference to make the olde muscles move and work and helps keep the arthritis at bay quite a bit. I guess I should work out more often, considering I've gained a little weight over the last couple of year, but somehow the motivation is hard to find. I tried using a tablet on the elliptical, but almost fell off. Now that isn't biking and typing, but close enough. Then again I can be pretty klutzy at times....proceed at your own risk.

I guess I am just a bit discouraged. I am leaving town on Monday and my nifty new red X-2 900 isn't working. I already ordered the red batt and the yellow batt to replace the silver batt that wasn't working. So I am down to one auto 650 and one yellow 900 although I do have five 78mm here.

I'm seriously thinking about buying a carton of cigs to take with me since I will have to commit hari kari if I don't have enough batteries to keep me going especially if I am stuck in camp with the in laws for hours at a time. I was hoping to be pretty much quit by the time I got back from vacation but I don't know if I can live with the uncertainty of the batteries while camping.

I have the battery charger for the car and a bunch of juice. Maybe I am just being pessimistic.

Yes, I have opened a ticket with customer service but then they emailed me to tell me about clicking them on and off correctly and I couldn't get back to them until late when I got home so I probably won't be able to get this resolved until Monday at best and I am leaving Tuesday.

Wish there was a sympathy button instead of only the like button. You should be fine with the car charger and a bunch of liquid. Worst case, use the remaining X2 as a passthrough until it charges. Maybe get a "Y" cable for the cigarette lighter socket so you can charge more than one at a time as a little extra insurance.

How many USB charger dongles do you have? Maybe you can buy a powered USB hub instead of that carton...that's what I use. I chain vape and got by on 5 78s and nothing else for a year. You just have to be sure to put it on the charger as soon as it dies. ;)

Oh, no...I posted...I hope I don't kill the thread again!
