Wish there was a sympathy button instead of only the like button. You should be fine with the car charger and a bunch of liquid. Worst case, use the remaining X2 as a passthrough until it charges. Maybe get a "Y" cable for the cigarette lighter socket so you can charge more than one at a time as a little extra insurance.

Where do you buy a Y cable at? We have Best Buy and Walmart in Carson City as well as Staples and Office Depot.

I feel for you, Lizzie--my blue auto 650 X2 died just 3 weeks or so past the 90day warranty. It was the strangest thing: It went to work with me as my backup. I tested it before it went in it's little pouch and it was working fine...when I got home, I took it out to use and it was just..dead. It wouldn't fire, the LED wouldn't even light. So, I put it on the charger, the LED came on, and 5, 6, 7, 8 hours later, it was still glowing. Took it off the charger, and nothing--the only thing that even turns the LED on is putting it on the charger. Alas, poor Blue, he died so young...

Check in an auto parts store, like AutoZone, or a Radio Shack. I think both will have a "Y" cable that plugs into a cigarette lighter and splits into two more cigarette lighter style recptacles. I wouldn't worry about running the car battery down either, the chargers draw, typically, about an amp, which isn't even a tickle to a car battery.

Cool, I have three or four car parts places on the way into Carson City or in Carson City that I can think of right off the top of my head!!!! I am definitely going to look into that.

You know, for some reason I thought there was a 30 day warranty so I didn't even put in a CS ticket for the silver batt. Then when I was cruising the SI website because of the red batt, I realized I should put in about the silver batt as well.

Are there any mom&pop computer stores up there? They might have something. Or like I said, a hub. You can plug those into the car charger as well, and be able to charge up to 3, maybe 4 devices...and yeah, the warranty is 3 months from date of purchase. :)

I will definitely have to drive into Carson City [about 50 or 60 miles] to buy anything but I think I will go tomorrow and see what I can do. I can try Best Buy and Office Depot.

I already have a portable charger for the cell phones that plugs into the car charger and the car charger for the SI products so even if I can only find the y thingey, that would help. I could charge two batteries at once when I am not charging one of the cell phones.

I guess I am just a bit discouraged. I am leaving town on Monday and my nifty new red X-2 900 isn't working. I already ordered the red batt and the yellow batt to replace the silver batt that wasn't working. So I am down to one auto 650 and one yellow 900 although I do have five 78mm here.

I'm seriously thinking about buying a carton of cigs to take with me since I will have to commit hari kari if I don't have enough batteries to keep me going especially if I am stuck in camp with the in laws for hours at a time. I was hoping to be pretty much quit by the time I got back from vacation but I don't know if I can live with the uncertainty of the batteries while camping.

I have the battery charger for the car and a bunch of juice. Maybe I am just being pessimistic.

Yes, I have opened a ticket with customer service but then they emailed me to tell me about clicking them on and off correctly and I couldn't get back to them until late when I got home so I probably won't be able to get this resolved until Monday at best and I am leaving Tuesday.

Almost all car cell phone chargers with a mini USB plug will charge the X2s and they will also allow you to use it as a passthrough. I have 3 old cell chargers and every one of the work just fine for the X2. I even use one on my motorcycle as a passthrough when I'm stressed because the X2 in passthrough will give a monster vape!!! Don't buy those cigarettes, go to walmart or somewhere that sells car chargers for cell phones. Besides the charger is cheaper anyway... Good Luck with the outlaws, maybe you should take them hiking down in the deep woods and then run off and leave them. I had one Motherinlaw that was such a bit&*^% that I started thinking prison might not be so bad after all.

I just recently found out that using an exercise bike is the best kind of exercise for people with bad knees. Arthritis is a real bummer. We need exercise but high impact exercise does more harm than good to arthritic knees. Besides the all-around benefits from exercise I hope the cycling will strengthen my legs, they're not strong like they were when I biked and took long walks. I know this won't cure arthritis, but strong legs should make it easier to deal with.

Actually, exercise is good for arthritis. It won't cure it, but it'll make you a lot more flexible and not hurt as much. It may hurt when you start, but that should decrease as you get your joints moving. Another solution lots of people swear by is to take a supplement: glucosamine and chondroitin. You can find it in the vitamin section of your store.

I'm convinced that exercise makes a lot of things easier to deal with, including depression and anxiety.

It's true. See Using Exercise to Relieve Depression I can vouch for the good effects of exercise. There have been times after a ride on my horse that I feel really mellow and relaxed. I swear it's endorphins.

Thanks, Peeps. I'm going to see what I can find when I go to town on a Y thingey. A three way Y thingey would be great!!!!

I'll take some pics of me vaping at Mr. Rushmore or maybe running from a buffalo without dropping my red 78mm:)

I've got a lot of work to do tomorrow to get this wagon rolling out of camp bright and early Tuesday morning.

Have to make sure all the animal water troughs are spotless and make sure the people watching thepets and the house get a comprehensive list of who to feed what.
