Yes, ECF has been very slow for me the last few days.

Raven, is that really a type of monkey? I thought I had missed something in your avi posting. But I guess I just didn't know that was a monkey. Oh, and please, you don't have to repost the photos.

Hello, Semiretired.

Yep, they are quite real. The really hideous one was probably old ........ and grumpy.

hum,,,,,,,,,I think it might be the plug next to my bed,,,,,,when I charged it for 10 minutes in my bathroom, and then went in and vaped, it was vaping,,,,,,,,

so I unplugged it and moved it to the plug next to my bed,,,,vaped for a minute and then stopped,,,,,,

I THINK it's not charging next to my bed, so I therefore used up the charge it had in six hours,,,,,,and had to charge it a minute or two before it would vape in the bathroom,,,,,,,

my husband is an electrician,,,,,,,all I have to say is the cobbler's children have no shoes and the electrician's wife HAS NO POWER!

trying another plug now.

Yea, it can take about 30 min before it will give you a good vape when the batt is that dead. I use one as a primary pass thru and just plug it in to the computer when I sit down and unplug it and carry it with me when I go to the next room. I am probably shortening the life of the battery this way, but the passthru function is just so good...

Just a note, I'd be cautious about using a USB port on your PC for charging or pass through. The PC is worth a heck of a lot more than a wall charger and I've seen at least two stories here on ECF, so it is anecdotal, about cooked USB ports from doing that and I'm a relative newcomer. I know the current demands of an X2, when charging and in pass through, and the capabilities of a USB bus in a PC and the twain should never meet, but one never knows...do one? Plus, Mr. Murphy loves to get into the mix whenever he can and we all know the most expensive part will go up in smoke to protect the least expensive part. Then again, I'm getting more cautious in my olde age.

As far as shortneing the battery life, the information I have found indicates that a lithium based battery may actually last "longer" if it is recharged before the point of discharge is reached that requires it to be recharged. The chemistry involved comes into play and that could "improve" its life expectancy to one degree or another. Overall, I suspect that there is only so many electrons that any battery can produce if used properly, but it sure can't hurt a lithium battery to charge it before it would need a charge. The internal charge controller will provide proper protection against over charge and trickle charge.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warrantee or guarantee is expressed or implied.
