I love miniature horses :) don't ask me why, but I think they are so cute,,,,,,,,,I didn't realize you had to trim the hoofs, though (makes sense, though, they are like toenails, right? )

we have a joke in our house about miniature ponies, though,,,,

years ago, my youngest daughter was a mess,,,,,,she was breaking the law, doing drugs, climbing out the windows at night, bringing home MEN through those windows,,,,I never knew what I'd find when I woke up at 3am,,,,,scary to be honest, with some of those people, to say the least,,,

anyway, we had her in counselling, etc, but they finally told us she had bipolar and needed to be in a residential treatment facility,,,,,,,the facility had miniature ponies,,,,,,,,,we saw them when we went to see her,,,,,

well, she finally got out of the facility, and the judge told her the next time it would be big girl jail.

so whenever she'd start acting up we'd say "Next time there's no miniature ponies!!!!!!"

(she did go to big girl jail eventually, and it finally straightened her out, and thank the good lord, she's an amazing person, well in control of her life now, law abiding, and well adjusted on medication),,,,,,

but to this day, whenever we mean "it will only get worse" we say "and there won't be any miniature ponies next time!"

 and I don't know WHY I told you that!!!!!!!!!

I've finally put my finger on what Lexi's scent reminds me of: slightly burnt cookies. Now, all things considered, that's not a bad smell for a 140 pound dog. Just sayin'.

WOW 140lbs !!! I thought Ugo my Rott is huge at 120lbs. I've always loved mastiffs but I have never had one. They are beautiful dogs.

omgosh, it was living hell, that's all I can say! I can relate,,,,,,

and why are you on hold?????

I'm on hold with SI. How could they do this to me? It's cruel and unusual punishment! I know that I've financed braces for at least one or two SI employees with my ... um ... "customer loyalty". Oh, the betrayal! No one ever did pick up. *sniff*

Thanks Raynes - it helped a little.

I know. For a rough, tough biker dude, Officer is quite a lightweight.

She's still got loose skin to grow into yet. She was a rescue dog. They were feeding her bread and green beans (not the rescue). When I first got her, her ribs were obvious and her spine looked like a mountain range. She still eats very little (only four or five cups a day) but she's kind of a comatose dog (most mastiffs are). Lexi is beautiful! *YAY! Perfect excuse to post her picture again. tee hee*

I agree with Rave, because it's a great story and my son, the used car dealer, is bipolar too, only he has so far avoided jail. I wonder what we used to do before the term "bipolar" came along?

Morning Voltatics, coffee is ready!

All my batteries are silver, both 78mm and X2. Yeah, I know it's "boring" having all one color, but it makes choosing really easy, LOL. My wife is slowly collecting colors so we are in the "color wars" as well. I tell mine apart by the LED colors and diamond tips.

It's been a busy few days for me and my wife, we had to get a new car for my her. Her '98 Accord was starting to rapidly die after 236,000 miles, the trans was on it's way out. I hate dealing with car dealers, nothing has changed with them at all. We still had to shower when we got home after each trip there! We did get a good deal, at least I think we did, and now I can relax 'cause I know she's in a car that won't leave her stuck on the road somewhere, not that the Accord ever did that, but it was getting way too close.

I can sympathize,I hate dealing with car dealers. They just make me cop an attitude right off the bat with those fake smiles that most of them have.

We called them "manic depressive". My daughter avoided jail, but not other institutional facilities. She's doing well now though, and I'm extremely proud of her.

And Raynes said it before I did!
