Thank you for the compliment, Raynes. And, yes, your Grandfather was a smart man. Mark Twain said, "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see."

It is important to know your limits. Do what you can, Raynes. You are doing a great deed in taking care of Millie. And Millie appreciates that.

Speaking of Mark Twain, here's a quote of his on smoking, "Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I've done it thousands of times."

Enjoy your day!

I love Mark Twain, one story about him comes to mind that you may have heard. One day he couldn't find something of his and was cursing, his wife repeated those same curse words back to him. Mr Twain looked at her and replied,"My dear, you do have the words but you lack the music".
Starting Friday I promise I'm taking the whole 6 days for myself.De-stress and enjoy this farm I love so much.
Thank you again for all your help with Millie. She's in my lap now as I type with her front paws around my neck licking my cheek.

speaking of electronics,,,,,I think I want an E-book, but the choices are confusing

ahhhhhhhh stole some of DD's strawberry shortcake  yummy. I've been jumping around flavors today

what do you want to know? I love ebooks. Have Kindle, nook and ibook apps on different devices. Also you can check out ebooks from your library. I like my kindle fire the best. Easy peasy. Just click "buy" and it downloads to your device. (after you set up an account).
:p

Hmm - Mark Twain was right! I've done it hundreds ... but "thousands"?!?!!!

Raynes - had to laugh ... over at Amazon on horse books: For Horse-Crazy Girls Only: Everything You Want To Know ...

The description was so DEAD ON! Here's a part:

Is your first and second favorite animal a horse? Is your bedroom covered with horse posters on your walls and horse models on your shelves? Would you rather muck out a stall than clean your room? Then you are absolutely, undeniably horse crazy, and this is the only comprehensive book about everything a horse-crazy girl needs to know about horses.

I'm wondering who let them into my room when I was in school! 2 walls from 3 foot off floor - they were one big collage!
Between vaping & horse stuff ... I'm so beyond broke! :toast:

Do you remember when Sugar Pop or maybe it was Corn Pops whatever the name of it was, anyway they used to have horse cards in them that looked like baseball cards. I ate that stuff until I collected all the horse breeds. After that I couldn't bear to look at another box of it.
My house looks like a huge tack room seriously. I have saddle racks in just about every rooms, bridles hanging among horse pics on the wall,I even have an old calvary mule saddle that I restored. I've got more bits than I have sense hanging on several peg boards. I won't force my horses to carry a bit they don't like so I just keep it and try with another horse. One thing they all agree on is a sweet iron bit.
Two things I never complain about spending money on --my animals and vaping stuff.

I was wondering which was the simplest!

My son recommended the Fire too,,,,,,

Go here: Free & Bargain Kindle Books | Pixel of Ink
Also you can go to: Books on The Knob (Free ebooks, bargain books and book reviews for the Amazon Kindle, nook, Kobo, Sony and other ereaders)

You can subscribe to their emails. Everyday I get an email for free books. I have an amazon account hooked to a credit card, but I don't end up spending alot because I download a lot of free ones. I have a nook app on my ipod, but Barnes and Noble is a bit more expensive than amazon I think. So are the iBooks. I spend more time with my Kindle (I have a Fire - love it) and amazon.

A tablet like the fire is good if you want to do a little bit of everything (read, surf, email, movies ). I was a big Sony reader fan girl but got tired of not being able to directly download books so I switched to a kindle. You can get a basic kindle now for 70 bucks. A lot of libraries let you borrow books now which is great. Also there are a ton of free books out there for whatever reader you pick. I also find a ton of super cheap and free books on amazon.
