The folks in the shelters, FEMA or Red Cross whould be fairly comfortable, at least warm, but there are a lot of people who haven't gotten any help at all. It is a lot cooler here today, about 50 after low 70's yesterday so no shorts for me today. The clean-up and help situation for those worst effected seems to have slowed to a crawl or stopped. I guess the photo ops are over and now they're on their own. It's funny, the local authorites want inspections before restoring power, mark the houses as unsafe, then tell the home owner to get it cleaned up and inspected but they aren't even allowed in. Breaucracy and government at its finest.
That was the way it was here to, and still is. Some people here are still homeless and its been going on for 2yrs now. Some of its because they are redoing the zoning laws. GRRRRRR . Heaven forbid that people should come first. Wonder how they would feel if it were them
