Way to go Holly! I saved a bunch too! I ordered 4 pkg of sampler cartos for loaning out my seldom used 78's ... have one chompin' at the bit so to speak ... gave the SI website link; ECF & SI here and suggested she start reading a bit and watching the video's at SI and give me a few days to get the loaner set to her! SI is fast in shipping! I suspect it will be here by Monday ... Often Saturday orders are in the mailbox on Mon!

Anyway - Yayyy for SI and thanks bunches for the sale! LOL!

Bet you can't tell I'm all jazzed up! I am! I just snagged a saddle on Ebay! Less than I expected I'd have to pay ... now for the rest of the stuff! Have to wait til after the job is done (Dec 17) ... we had the option this year of getting paid for the preseason work ... usually it's one good check when we're all done.

Here it is:

While I drooled over a really turquois set ... I sort of thought this one would look good - and still has a little bling ...

I got a red manual 1300 for myself,,,,,,,I can't wait til Christmas LOL.

I didn't think I liked the manuals, til I started using this one I got in the contest,,,It's growing on me LOL,,,so I will have a 900 auto and a 1300 manual,,,,I'll use the autos for driving, etc,,,,,,and the manual for at home,,,,,,

Kico, those are gorgeous! Congrats on the EBAY win!!!!!!

Oh, I may have gotten my SIL hooked on ecigs today! Let him use one of mine today, and he likes it! So I'm sending over my old 78's, some cartos, juice and a charger to let him use it for a week or so before he orders himself an X2,,,,,,sent him an email about the sale, but he may not be ready yet to buy,,,,,,STILL, he likes it,,,,,,I planted a seed :D

I didn't think I'd like a manual but totally in love with my x2 manuals. I also stocked up on fruity flavors of the new juice. Overall I think I did well with the discount as well as some points I'd been saving.

I'm going to Home Depot to get replacement parts to fix a leaking toilet....does that count?

I don't think I will ever participate in sales that start on Thanksgiving in a store, just my way of personally protesting them opening on Thanksgiving and making employees work. I work at a grocery store, and we were open 7am to 4pm yesterday. I am old enough to remember stores being closed to honor the holiday and give their employees a day off.

Hey Volties

Happy (late) thanksgiving.

Its been really nice , once again to read the excitement you all share of this holiday. Seeing as we dont celebrate it here, I still hold a tiny spot in my heart to hear all about it here. I even celebrated on my own with a dip in my

Its becoming harder and harder for me to keep up with the thread, and input as much as i'd like too. By the time i get there, its a bit late to repost. So i just keep on reading and chuckle, laugh and celebrate to myself. Hopefully at least telepathically I hope you all know I am thinking about you all.

Just last week there was a t.v program about minature horses.... I know right.... I tell you it was screaming Lizzie at me from the couch.
Then I had a dream about a few dozen lizards...(raynes).... hehehe
My own "UNCLE" who i haven't spoken to in over 3 years appears in another dream.
Bo & Lexi had a doggie party with vanilla custard cupcakes....
Anyway in one way or another you are all with me in my thoughts and i think of you all often.

Having a terrible time with bought juices i once loved has been my biggest frustration to date. My bought juices were giving me problems so i turned back to diy to get me by the last 6 weeks. All I was vaping was a mix i made up of tobacco, vanilla custard,a bit of banana and strawberry and cream. THe strawberry highlights the tobacco, the vanilla tones the tabacco a bit and the banana just gives it a sweetness,. I dunno how but i liked it enough to get me by.
THen came

Rave & Blues I hope you are enjoying your holiday vacation, I know how much you two deserve some together time, I really hope it was all you both dreamed of and more.

QRT Congratulations on the twins. Fun times ahead!!

Sitting down, facing forward.
I got my "Black Friday" shopping done while still in sweat pants, sweat shirt and slippers, sipping coffee and vaping RY4 simply with a few clicks of the mouse. In the "fine tradition" I did manage to spend a little (?) more than I wanted to, but what the heck, Visa has the room! Tomorrow, my wife gets her early present, remote start for her new Civic...Visa will get some more abuse.

I guess I'm a modern "traditionalist". I wouldn't shop on Thanksgiving because of what the day represents, but I love cyber shopping. No crowds and no chance of being beaten with a rubber duck!

What, No coffe on yet? A lovely Christmas blend from a large, well known coffee shop is on!!!!

I just did my SI shopping. Have I mentioned that I spend almost as much on e cigs as I did on smoking????:) Frankly, my dears, I don't give a darn. I am off the ciggies [okay, I still sneak in a few but is a very few]. I got the clearos and the Nanos and the old style juice and 2 of the new style juices [sinnabun and midnight express]. And I threw in a pack of regular old style cartos for those super public vaping moments.

I was at the casino yesterday and I vaped instead of smoking. The line for the buffet was incredibly long. Like an hour or more long. We were shocked at the length of the line but of course we were talking and having a good old time in line. Mom and Dad met us there and then the family friend and wife came too. Nice group of people.

Then, the very important friend and wife showed up coincidentally. The VIP friends headed off to the Steakhouse for their meal while we chatted in line. I went off to the side of the line to vape a bit. In a little while they came back and got us out of line and into the Steakhouse at his table. We followed him through the casino like happy little ducks in a row. We had a delicious, non-crowded meal served right at the table. We had such a lovely dinner. And, the VIP friends even paid for it. You can't beat that, now can you?

I couldn't agree more,,,,,,,my daughter's BF works for Walmart, and he had to work SEVENTEEN HOURS yesterday,,,I mean MAYBE if it were voluntary,,,,,,OR they did shorty shifts, like "everyone works 3 hours so NOBODY has to work MORE" or something,,,,,

ugh, I worked at a convenience store once, and that's how they handled it,,,,,,,,it worked,,,,,,it's pretty easy to plan your day around a 3 hour shift,,,,,,,

even then I don't like it,,,,but at least they could make a claim to caring,,,,,

it's really ridiculous these days though,,,,,,,,some busness HAVE to stay open,,,,,,but WALMART??

Yeah, I'm with you all about businesses being open on Thanksgiving; in a word: it stinks.
The industry I'm in, however, must run 24/7, come fire, flood, hurricane, or the Zombie Apocalypse. We know it when we sign on. I don't have immediate family, and all my friends are busy with theirs--so I'm one of the ones that volunteers to work on holidays. And we get double-time, and fed a nice meal. Can't complain about my personal circumstance, but I see no reason why retail establishments need to force their workers to miss out on one of the major holidays of our country.
So, Basilor, how did that trip to Home Depot go? I'm betting you feel like you just survived a national disaster; you didn't think that HD would escape the Black Friday madness, did you?
I want to do my regular shopping today, and I literally feel trapped at home. Between the careless college kids, the steely-eyed (and mission-driven) suburban moms in SUV's, and the sobriety checkpoints all over the city, it would feel like something from a Mad Maxx movie.
I believe I'll just stay in.
