You guys must have a lot of horse around, can you e-mail me some for my garden?

I have been chatting on the DYI forum after receiving my new flavors from Wizard Labs. For the life of me I can't mix a decent flavor from 13 that I have tried so far. Some say I am using toooooo much flavor %, and recommend things like 1 drop per 10 ML of base. Other than the coffee concentrate, how can that taste or smell like anything? I will keep trying.

If you are serious about getting horse manure for your garden, I bet local stables would be glad to supply you with all you want. Some stables have to pay to have it hauled away. You have to let it season before putting it on your garden, I hear. Straight out of the horse, it's too strong. You let it sit a while and compost, and then it's usable. Also, look into what kinds of bedding they use, which would be mixed in with the manure you get. I think some types of bedding are unsuitable for garden fertilizer. I'm not sure why -- just stuff I heard that I never paid a lot of attention to.

I'm a WL fan, but I have learned with time. If WL says to use a flavor at 5%, I start out at 2.5% in a 5ml batch. I try it out on a home made drip setup, just a carto with the filler removed and cut down to half the original length. If I can't taste anything I up the flavor by 1/2 percent and try again until I can taste the flavor. Then I try it in an iTaste mini tank to see if it really is a flavor I enjoy. Taste is so subjective it's really amazing. What I use at 2.5% others use at 10% so it's really going to take experimentation to find out what works for you. My experience has been that the tobacco flavors have to be used at much lower persentages or they become overpowering.

Just my opinion, worth what ou're paying for it. Your mileage may vary. No guarranty or warranty expressed or implied.

Hi folks! I can't remember who was talking about the cinnamon juice melting the tip of their clearo, but I have found a screw on aluminum drip tip that fits the clearos perfectly! Plus, they are available in colors! Not the nano, the clearos only. Let me know if you want a link.

Oh, forgot to also say, the tax on stinkies here in Michigan is .10 per cig, $2.00 per pack! Plus sales tax of course.

I have several very light mixes going and will let them steep. I am testing with an old carto with the filter removed and clean it with vodka and water between testings. Maybe I need to drink the Vodka that might work. I have tried very small batches using the drops method. I am now trying 10 Ml batches using 1 drop of flavoring. I just cannot believe that the flavors that Wizard Labs sends out are the same that various vendors use. It is not like I am just throwing flavoring in haphazardly, I am measuring very carefully and have tried a lot of suggested mixes.
I am going to vape my favorite Black Magic tonight and finish that bottle of cheap Vodka I use to clean cartos. LOL

Element,look at it as an investment. What you are getting is going to last quite awhile. The batts I bought six mos ago from SI are still working and I'm a chain vaper. Cartos last forever,but you may not like those. You have to experiment and find what works best for you.
I will tell you this,that eventually your taste buds are going to change. What tastes good now you may not like later and what you detest now will be the best tasting liquid you ever had. Eventually you will see an increase in savings.

Because #1: This forum keeps showing you new toys, I call it Phallus envy or keeping up with the Jones. Just take a look at the show me your latest vape thread. There are some awsome mods there.
#2: Flavors change with larger batteries, cartos, tanks, various voltages and wattage etc. It is not like picking up a pack of Marlboros which always taste the same. Sometimes your favorite juice just does not taste the same if you changed cartos, or tanks and you go looking for it again.

Most of us are still trying to find that magic flavor that lasts and lasts and lasts. I don't think it exists

Vaping is definitely a personal experience. Spend as little as you want or as much as you want and the outcomes are still better than you have with smoking IMO.
I've found several magical flavors that I like,but what an adventure it was to find them. Just hoping my taste doesn't change again

Element, the post office probably isn't scanning as much as usual because of the Christmas rush. They should scan though when it gets to your post office. Guess all you can do is check every day. That's what I'm doing, my shipments aren't scanned up to date either.

Element, I usually order on the weekend and never get my delivery until Thursday. I think it is because I live in a rural area and my post office sucks. They are all so busy complaining about how horrible it is to work for the post office that they don't get any work done.

QRXT please pm me or link that info. I have high hopes based on the pics that the T3's can handle it. Like I said, it didn't appear to do anything to the tank, but melted the tip. This Cherry Blossom has a reputation of melting tanks, but is the most amazing cherry flavor.

I have at least 18 flavors from them I have now promised to send to someone else because I just can't get anything from them. I made one based on someone else's recipe and it was just weak perfume to me.

Out of the 25 or so flavors I have tried from TFA, I will only use 3 going forward. Cinnamon Red Hots (awesome!), RY4 type 1, and possibly Capt. Black Tobacco.

Seriously, look into Capellas, everything I tried from them I mixed at 15% and for the first time was amazed at how dead on it was with no perfumy smell. I can post their links again. The first time I mixed apple pie, I said out loud "dang I can taste apples & crust!" The chocolate fudge brownie is the same, as was the gingerbread. Thing is, I just don't want to vape those flavors more than a few puffs at any given time.

But the Strawberries & Cream, Peaches & Cream, Orange Creamsicle, and Harvest Berry are the bulk of my daily flavors. I discovered I like fruity flavors. Haven't given up on the Cantaloupe Holly raves about, out of the 10 mixes I tried the other night, that one has potential I am going back and play with. In a nutshell, at any given time, my 3 batteries contain a fruit flavor, RY4 flavor, and the cinnamon red hots.

I have to force myself to not vape the cinnamon...it's so addicting. Hehe you should see me here sometimes with it. I take a vape, go to put it down, say "ok just one more" go to put it down, rinse-repeat.

Don't give up though! I am so far ahead. You do have to have the mindset that it will take a while, and have patience. But what a feeling when you get something you like. Also, it's nice to know exactly what you are vaping, and the quality of it. Not only that, but sitting here with 500ml of 18mg 60/40 PG/VG I don't have to worry about running out of my favorite flavors for a little while.

Remember also, from what I read, TFA is one of the trickiest out there. I bet a lot of vendors use Capellas flavoring. The only pre-mix flavor I might have to buy is Blue Honey from Vape Dudes, have yet to come up with anything close to it. I also love SI's RY4, but for some reason, the last time I bought from them, all the juices made me cough. No idea why.

I'm mixing my TFA tobaccos at 4% but I add ethyl malto and caramel and a tiny bit of tobacco absolute. While not quite a commercial quality I think I am getting there.

I mix my fruits at 10% fruit and 5% ethyl malto and so far they are all vapable but not quite there either. I may try Capella's in the future but have decided to use what I have for now and worry about it in a month or two.

By the way, boysenberry was ridiculous perfumey but I don't mind apple, cantaloupe, strawberries and cream, strawberry [mixed it with apple for strapple - so 5%apple, 5% strawberry and 5% ethyl malto and its not bad] and strawbery kiwi [that was my freebie].

Have you tried letting the perfumey juices steep for a day or two with the cap off? I have had success with that. Not that I'm mixing my juices, this is vendor juice that is mixed to order. Really makes a difference IMHO. Someday I will give it a try beyond mixing pre-made flavors.
