Geez, I thought pogonip was called white death by the Indians because it is so horrible and cold that it will kill you.

One year we had pogonip for 6 weeks solid. It was terrible cold and we didn't see the sun except when we went skiing and got above the fog on Mt. Rose. I would be worried about my little horse if we had a terrible year like that again.

I hope you don't Lizzie! Had never heard of anything like this before. After reading about it, it's really scary! Do you keep Wiseguy in a barn or protective enclosure? It's good that he has a very thick coat!

Wiseguy has a three sided shed. We didn't have goats or a horse when we had that horrible pogonip winter. That must have been 9 or so years ago. Of course, we have had a bit of pogonip since then but nothing like that one year.

A lot of horses out here don't really have any shelter at all but I think it is important that he has the option of getting inside the shed if he wants to. The mulberry tree isn't real tall but it is enough for him to get into the shade in the summer. I planted a poplar on the other side of his gate so that if something happens to the mulberry there will be another spot for shade for him.

So far, Wiseguy has not seemed the least bit cold but it has only been down to 18 degrees overnight.

yes thanks chief....im not meaning to complain....but yes these x2s seem to not like me.....had to throw another bat out. today.I just cant workout why..my friends keep saying go to another vendor....but I love si products...and don't want to go to bigger mods or start all over with others....im sure the new year will be better....so im off to buy more batts.....yippy....

That's terrible! Do you think there's an incompatibility issue with the electrical supply difference? Do your problems start after you charge your X2 batteries? I know there are differences between American and European power sources/currents, is it different than the European or Canadian?

Boy, did we overdo it yesterday with all the good foods, noshies, turkey, ravioli, meatballs, mashed potatoes, stuffing, garlic/mozzarella bread and enough different desserts to give everyone insulin shock. Spent the morning feeling like I lost a major fight with three or four MMA guys.

Sounds brilliant!

Hello - had a great Christmas. Lots of food and drink. On the subject of dehydration, I have been drinking French merlot for the last 3 days. I don't know if this stops dehydration but I can say that if you drink this you won't notice if you are dehydrated. BTW - not three days solid of course. Three days with breaks for eating as well.
Weather not fantastic here - overcast and some rain thanks to the tail end of cyclone Evan. Rave - such beautiful photos you posted. Just gorgeous. So glad you heard something from Bluesman,

Gotta go - checked in on some threads to help folk out and checked in here to say hi.

I wonder if my T3 is leaking or if its condensation. There is just a very minute amount of something on top of my batt every once in awhile
can't find anything on the inner threads of the tank

I started getting that too, after I gave the post a 1/4 counter-clockwise turn to tighten the draw. Then it started gurgling and got a little slurpy. I went back to cartos until I can figure out how to make those things hit like cartos. It was starting to drive me a little nuts.

Sitting down, facing forward.
If an X2 won't work unless the cap is off, check the cap end carefully. There are two small holes 180 degrees apart that allow air flow to activate the automatic switch. If they get clogged with anything, like pocket lint for example, the battery just won't fire. These holes are quite small and are sort of square shaped. You'll need to look for them crefully. Use a needle or something equally small to clean them. I will say the last X2-650 I bought, about two months ago, does have some "flash" from the plating step around the end cap that can interfere with air flow. In that case I used a Dremel, high speed hand grinder, to clean it up.

I personally would never turn the center post on either a battery or delivery device. In both cases there are wires attached that could be broken by turning them. They can be safely raised slightly, but turning may lead to damage.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your mileage may vary. No guaranty or warranty is expressed or implied.

The two holes are right on the flange where the threading for the end cap is sort of at the base. They appear as square rather than round holes, but if they are blocked in any way the battery won't work. They are visible with the end cap on the battery but it's easier t clear them with the cap off.

Debra, I don't know if this might help. I got a power pack from SI to use if we have power outages. At first, I wasn't really using it... just had it packed away but I decided to test it out by charging my X2's. This may help with compatibility issues. The only thing that you will need to charge is the power pack itself. Maybe you can ask someone there what the best wall outlet to use... Also there is a safety cutoff on it as well.

Also meant to add: You can charge two X2's at a time as well as maybe... a cell phone. I only charge my X2's and ego twists with it.

Debra.. another suggestion... I wouldn't throw any more X2's away. Maybe they are just not charging even though the light is on. Do you use a wall outlet? If not a power pack from SI, maybe a multi-USB hub from there? Oh.. I just hope you find a solution soon!

the problem is the wall adapter si carried the aussie slant point ones just before I started vaping....then they went out of stock...but I don't think its wall adapter..ive got 2 wall adapters and there both 2 volts...so you only need 1.5volts....so why then....I don't know...plus if it was the charging ...wouldn't all my bats be acting up...shaking my head...just bad bat luck....at least im still vaping...sorta..did you end up getting pink x2 bat...I ordered my first manual today

Mr. and Mrs. Wabbit are back from Richmond Virginia and visiting my grandchildren. We took an Eastern route to avoid snow around Washington DC. but hit large downpours of rain. Lucky me I have new tires and all went well. I see I missed a lot of chat. Sorry your bats are driving you batty Debra. Please try several other cords that you must have accumulated with all of your X2s. My newest black X2 900 mAh battery had the same problem, light would not go out after 10 hours of charging. Imagine said try another cord and Kaboom the light went out 10 minutes after trying another cord. Those tiny USB connections have multiple point of contact inside of the port and sometimes they get dirty, bent, or just fail. Also, don't throw out your batteries if you ever want to try your own MODs. The chips inside and the top posts as well as the switch can be recycled into making your own MOD. If you are not mechanically inclined, maybe one of your friends can use the parts to make you a MOD. That is what I plan to do when one of my X2s dies.

I see everyone had a good holiday, and I am also looking forward to more good news from Bluesman. I certainily hope he is doing well.
Catch you all later, Mrs. Wabbit wants me to go shopping to pick up some yummy carrots for dinner.

I got the pink X2 for my daughter. She loves it. Hope you like the manuals... it's still growing on me. Have to get use to them... If later you decide to try variable voltage which are all manuals like ego twists and vision spinners, you might as well start with SI X2 manuals.
