Doing a prayer over my rainbow and gold X2s right now. I hope it's not a color thing!!! Sorry about your troubles Debra. I'm sure its frustrating. Glad SI is helping you.

I saw White Rabbit's comment about the power cord, so I bought the little USB connector and will be using that on the power plug. Good tip Rabbit!

I also noticed my new X2 1300mah was blinking when I took it out of the box. That worried me a bit as it had not been shut off properly before shipment. My gold 1300 was turned off.

Hi Everyone!

I was away from the forum for a few weeks due to illness, some serious family issues that had to be dealt with, and a wacked-out PC (now fixed). I tried to post with my iPod, but between the tiny keyboard & my poor eyesight, that just didn't happen.

I hope all of you had a terrific Merry Christmas! I had a wonderful time with family, and of course, all of us ate too much. It was so much fun watching all my great-nieces & nephews open up their family gifts on Christmas Eve.

I have a lot of posts to read still, but just want to say a few things.

Holly, did you get your Kindle Fire?

Rave, so sorry to hear about Blues but glad he's doing better.

Debra ... darned, girl, you are having the worst luck with batteries & clearos. Hope that changes soon!

JoAnn, thanks so much for asking about me on my profile page. I appreciate it.

Hope nobody here was negatively impacted by the Christmas Day tornadoes -- we just keep setting new records weather-wise, huh?

I am still anxiously waiting for my first DIY order from Wizard Labs. Ordered on the 19th, shipped Priority Mail on the 21st, but I still don't have it. Tracking says it left San Antonio, TX at 4 a.m. Christmas morning. Darn, I am just about out of juice, too. I ran out of the good stuff several days ago, so I'm now vaping on samples that I have but do not like. I almost have to hold my nose in order to vape them. Yuck, yuck, yuck!

I know I'm late to the party, but I did order a couple T-3s from SI yesterday (plus a new rainbow battery). So I look forward to trying them. I swear though, if I don't like them, I'm going back to cartos. I'm tired of the dripping, leaking, tweaking & just all the general putzing around that these things seem to require. It's starting to feel like I'm stuck in the :matrix: I used cartos for 3 yrs with no problems.

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year! Oh yeah, 2013, bring it on.

Only???? Oh this keeps getting better and better!!!

Well, goodnight Lizzie! Goodnight everyone! Sleep tight! Oh Lord!! 18 degrees!

I'll make it even better for you JoAnn. Up until I got Lexi and she began sleeping in my room, I used to sleep with the sliding glass door and window open all year long - unless it was forecast to get down to 15 degrees. Cold is helpful to ease neurological pain.

I see everyone had a good holiday, and I am also looking forward to more good news from Bluesman. I certainily hope he is doing well.

I am back in touch with Blues again. Yippee!! He's tiring out quickly, and didn't do all that well with his PT this morning. Personally, I think that getting out of the hospital environment would do him a world of good. Hospitals are really not conducive to healing - :2c:. He really needs to be around animals. He's expecting a visit from a therapy dog tonight. That should lift him up a bit. Please keep him in your thoughts everyone.

Well after dealing with Alaska, I guess you could adjust to sleeping in extremely cold weather!

So glad you were in touch with Blues. I'm sure he will tire quickly, dealing with the healing process and physical therapy but he is getting better with each passing day. Getting out of the hospital will lift his spirits greatly especially having to eat hospital food while he is there... yuck.

Still keeping him and you in my prayers everyday!

Now if only we heard from Holly... hope she's ok and enjoying her holidays.

Yeah, I've been wondering where Holly is, too. Hope all is well.
I took a snow day off to shovel out from yesterday's snowfall. :( Hate snow. Why am I not living somewhere tropical....oh yeah....hate large bugs more than snow.....and need to live by family.

Merry Christmas to everyone.
Debra....sorry to read about your battery troubles. How frustrating!
Rave, been praying for Blues. Hospitals aren't very fun places to be in. :(

Praying you have a safe trip home Sandy. Please let us know when you get there.

We're home safe. Somehow, we managed to avoid any bad weather, and the roads were clear nearly all the way home. Just as I suspected, the roads were a little slushy, but salted and plowed, after Whitney Point nearly to Ithaca. That's a snow belt here, and weather is always iffy along that section of Rt. 79. In fact, that band of snowier weather is why they built a ski slope, Greek Peak, along it, though to the north from where we passed through it. Here in T-burg, there's about a foot of snow on the ground, and I had to shovel our front steps before we could unload stuff from the car and take it in. My cat, Tom, gave us the usual loud lecture about abandoning him for days, but he was just fine physically. And he has already calmed down about us deserting him. It was fun visiting, but I agree with Bill, who just said to me, "It's nice to be home."
