Here's what it looks like. It's absolutely amazing. One winter day I went to the barn to visit Penny, and about halfway between my house and the barn, it started. The whole world was silver, all the trees, fences, etc. with what must have inspired tinsel on Christmas trees. I was blown away, and got my camera out and spent the next hour or so taking pictures. These are close-ups, because I thought you'd want to see the amazing texture of the crystals more than just trees in white gauze.

It amuses me that we talk a lot about sucking on the positive end of a battery ! , but, it appears we are actually concerned about each other, our pets, and life in general. I saw where a lot of you have tried the T3s. I have been waiting for "opinions" because at first I avoided the Nano's, then the 2nd gen came out and when I tried them I find they are quite acceptable. I still prefer cartos for full flavor and vapor. I am thinking I will either build a box mod, or try the new VAMO, but I really don't think I need VW only VV. Do any of you have a VAMO? (Bamboo etc.). I would like an opinion from our little group.

I have one and love it, I will say it is taller than a X2 1300 by about 1 1/2 inches with the full tube in. As for how sturdy it is and will it last I don't know, only have had mine about 3 weeks.

I have noticed on my X2 650s that the newer ones seem to have smaller holes for the airflow. When the rainbows came out, I got one that had the holes in the wrong place so it wouldn't fire at all with the cap on, at least that is what Heather thought. It was apparently using the hole for the charge plug to get air with the cap off? SI replaced it right away. Lately my replacement is also giving me trouble, sometimes not firing on the first try, sometimes cutting off mid draw. I haven't ordered any autos since then, went to manuals. But the 3 autos I had before the rainbows all have the slightly bigger sized square air holes.

I've had a couple of the autos I've fixed by taking the cap off and blowing through that end. You'll see the light, light up. I think there might have been dust or left over stuff in there from assembly or machining.

Hello,,,,,I hope you all had a lovely Christmas,,,,,,,

I was sick as a dog, as I recall, the last time I stopped by,,,,,,,,,started to JUSSSSSST feel better, and then it came rushing back,,,

and now I'm sick again. this is ridiculous.

I dragged through the last week before Christmas,,,,,,but we did have a pleasant holiday.

So first I thought I was getting a Kindle Fire,,,,,,,,,,,then I thought I was getting a Keurig,,,,,,

I did not get a kindle OR a keurig for Christmas,,,,,,,,

.

I got a Kindle Fire AND a Keurig for Christmas

my husband was very generous with me :)

Hi Everyone!

I was away from the forum for a few weeks due to illness, some serious family issues that had to be dealt with, and a wacked-out PC (now fixed). I tried to post with my iPod, but between the tiny keyboard & my poor eyesight, that just didn't happen.

I hope all of you had a terrific Merry Christmas! I had a wonderful time with family, and of course, all of us ate too much. It was so much fun watching all my great-nieces & nephews open up their family gifts on Christmas Eve.

I have a lot of posts to read still, but just want to say a few things.

Holly, did you get your Kindle Fire?

Rave, so sorry to hear about Blues but glad he's doing better.

Debra ... darned, girl, you are having the worst luck with batteries & clearos. Hope that changes soon!

JoAnn, thanks so much for asking about me on my profile page. I appreciate it.

Hope nobody here was negatively impacted by the Christmas Day tornadoes -- we just keep setting new records weather-wise, huh?

I am still anxiously waiting for my first DIY order from Wizard Labs. Ordered on the 19th, shipped Priority Mail on the 21st, but I still don't have it. Tracking says it left San Antonio, TX at 4 a.m. Christmas morning. Darn, I am just about out of juice, too. I ran out of the good stuff several days ago, so I'm now vaping on samples that I have but do not like. I almost have to hold my nose in order to vape them. Yuck, yuck, yuck!

I know I'm late to the party, but I did order a couple T-3s from SI yesterday (plus a new rainbow battery). So I look forward to trying them. I swear though, if I don't like them, I'm going back to cartos. I'm tired of the dripping, leaking, tweaking & just all the general putzing around that these things seem to require. It's starting to feel like I'm stuck in the :matrix: I used cartos for 3 yrs with no problems.

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year! Oh yeah, 2013, bring it on.
hey moonstruck your back...yes we were all wondering where you were....you have so much reading ahead of you....enjoy:blink: .....merry xmas and happy new year sweetie...;)

Mr. and Mrs. Wabbit are back from Richmond Virginia and visiting my grandchildren. We took an Eastern route to avoid snow around Washington DC. but hit large downpours of rain. Lucky me I have new tires and all went well. I see I missed a lot of chat. Sorry your bats are driving you batty Debra. Please try several other cords that you must have accumulated with all of your X2s. My newest black X2 900 mAh battery had the same problem, light would not go out after 10 hours of charging. Imagine said try another cord and Kaboom the light went out 10 minutes after trying another cord. Those tiny USB connections have multiple point of contact inside of the port and sometimes they get dirty, bent, or just fail. Also, don't throw out your batteries if you ever want to try your own MODs. The chips inside and the top posts as well as the switch can be recycled into making your own MOD. If you are not mechanically inclined, maybe one of your friends can use the parts to make you a MOD. That is what I plan to do when one of my X2s dies.

I see everyone had a good holiday, and I am also looking forward to more good news from Bluesman. I certainily hope he is doing well.
Catch you all later, Mrs. Wabbit wants me to go shopping to pick up some yummy carrots for dinner.

hi fuuny buuny.....yes ive tried all my 1 dozen cords.....glad to hear your xmas went well.....there will be no more dates..im abit out there for him....:laugh:it would take a very strong man to tame me.... plus my heart belongs to my adam wabbit....ill never get over him....but that's how it goes....you win some you loose some...enjoy your carrots...im cooking corn beef carrots and potatoes with a white cream cheese parsley sauce for tea tonight...

wait,,,,,

Blues is in the hospital????? what happened, is he ok???

sorry, trying to catch up here :)

thanks for all the well wishes, and Sandy Su, if my husband and I aren't well by this weekend, we are going to the walk in clinic,,,,,,,,we hate to go for a cold, but OTOH, my grandmother always said if it lasts longer than 9 days, it's not a cold.

this is just getting ludicrous,,,,,,my house is a disaster because I haven't had energy to do more than make soup, take the dog out, rinse dishes and run the dishwasher.

thank god I was done holiday shopping,,,,,,,wrapping was tough enough.

I had something the beginning of fall that was like that. It was like a flu and I was flat on my back sick....then I was almost fine for awhile....then I got sick again. It finally went away. My husband and co-worker had the same thing going on. Maybe some new strain of flu? Wicked whatever it was. Hang in there. :(

I'm glad Christmas is over, too. The shopping and wrapping. I'm glad everyone is happy....but I'm happy to be done with it for another year!

so who wants a funny story? I swear, I'm not blonde, though I've been asked for proof on occasion,,,,,

I got my new Keurig for Christmas, and of course, I wanted to have a nice hot cup of tea brewed just for me while reading my new kindle,,,,,and vaping Juicy peach,,,,I mean who wouldn't??

I had ONE tea pod that came in the variety pack I got,,,,,,and of course, I wanted more than that,,,,,,tea is good for colds.

so there I sat with empty pods, trying to figure out how to stuff a tea bag inside and reuse the empty ones,,,,,,,I tried stuffing them inside as is,,,,,,I tried emptying the loose tea into the pod,,,,,,,,nothing, water went everywhere,,,,,,,,

Dh is just watching me,,,,,,,,

then he walks over, takes the pod out of my hands, slaps a tea bag in the cup, sticks it under the water spout and starts the keurig without a pod inside.

yep. leave it to me to make something more complicated than it has to be.

there's something going around called the 100 day cold or the 100 day virus that actually CAN last up to 100 days,,,,,,,but generally lasts an average of a month.

it's sick.

pun intended.

I don't think it's so odd sleeping in the cold. If you have enough covers, your body heat keeps you warm, and breathing the fresh air is invigorating. When I was a kid, up till I was 12 and we moved, I slept on a sun porch, winter and summer. Not only wasn't it heated, but it wasn't very well insulated. Before I went to bed, my mom would put my pajamas with feet into the oven on a low heat, so when I got into them, they were toasty warm and kept me comfortable till the covers warmed up. For centuries, till just lately, people slept w/o heat when the fireplaces burned low, sometimes going to bed with hot bricks wrapped in cloths to keep them warm till they could heat up the inside of the covers. It was actually probably healthier than that heat that dries out your nose and throat and eyes.

I remember my grandmother telling me the story of when I was a baby and she went to check on me, and snow had drifted in through a crack between the window and its frame, just above where I was sleeping. My blankets were covered with snow, but I was sound asleep.

This was in Philadelphia, where it doesn't get as cold as some places, but still, there's snow on the ground in winter, so it was often freezing in my bedroom. I sometimes played with my dolls and served them "tea," which was actually water in their teacups. If I left the water there and went to sleep, it was frozen solid in the morning.
lovely story sandy su...I love reading things about our grandmothers..i remember my many tea party times with my dolls...great memorys..:)
