OMG don't even mention stinky piggies!

As a retired banker, I had many farmers as clients. I just loved vegatable, grain, cow or chicken farmers, but the piggy farmers I just hated to visit. I almost had to wear a gas mask to go into the pens. People say a lot about chicken houses, but I could get accoustomed to that but not the piggies.
This reminds me of the time my husband decided he wanted to try raising some pigs. He bought three from a friend of his and one of those the boar, the boar he raised on a bottle. Its name was Arnie and had some pretty long tusks. Anyway,Arnie was always getting out of the pig pen and would follow us around like a dog. At first I was afraid of Arnie as I had never been around pigs and was afraid he would accidently slice my leg with a tusk.
One day my Mother came up for a visit and I told Ronnie to make sure that Arnie couldn't get out of his pen. Everything was fine and I was inside washing dishes while Mother was outside smoking. I saw her walking briskly around the house, didn't think anything of it,then she started jogging. All I could see was her mouth moving so I thought she was playing with the dogs,as she was making her third lap I saw Arnie trotting behind her. I ran outside yelling DON'T RUN. Mother never slowed down,Arnie oinking right behind her. She ran in the horse pasture slipped going down the bank right into some fresh horse manure. I was trying really hard not to laugh. Finally I got Arnie lured away and the words coming out of Mother's mouth would have made a sailor blush.Oh she was furious and scared to. Nothing I said or did cooled calmed her down. Her parting words that day was,"Raynes, your 40yrs old and I'm 65 yrs old.I brought you in this world, and child I can STILL take you out of it". A few days later I received a cleaning bill for her clothes and truck and she never visited again until after Arnie died.

Morning Volties

Don't you hate it when you wake up and realize a flavor you actually enjoyed is empty and you dont have any more of that flavor laying around??

Woke up, really wanted my mint carto, and bam.. nothing.. empty with just a residue of mint left... so sad.. I really enjoyed the mint flavor too.

Sampler packs are a love hate relationship.. you get you try and you love and then you run out, or you get you try and you dont like one bit.

Never being a fan of menthol, mint just did something for me that i really enjoyed bout it. Kinda reminded me of chewing mint gum. I really thought it would be alot like menthol and i would not like it one bit, I was so wrong.

What I did was write down the flavors that I liked and order them. I'm not a huge fan of menthols but the more I vape I find myself enjoying the menthol liquids especially when my tobacco tastes get to where they taste flat and that happens sometimes when I vape the same thing for a day or two. What you don't particularly care for now you may enjoy later when your tastebuds change and they will probably anywhere to 3-6mos it varies from person to person. Even now sometimes I get to where I can't find a satisfying vape or they will taste strange and I keep a bottle of clove and cinnamon for when that happens and after a few vapes off those I can taste my favorite vapes again. That's another reason I like cartos you can put any flavor of liquid in them and not worry about them cracking

I would love to have a pot belly pig and every time I mention getting one Mother says the samething,"I brought you in this world and I WILL take you out,and I can show you better than I can tell you." Since she has grand and great grands I have no doubt she means it. To be honest I never knew she was afraid of pigs until we got Arnie.
One pig makes a really great pet and they are clean animals. Arnie loved baths and he followed me every step I made outside.

I don't blame her for being afraid of them. The boars really look fierce with those tusks. From what I've read, they are clean animals and are extremely smart and can be housebroken. Don't think I would want one as a pet though.

Sitting down, facing forward.
A friend of my wife raised hogs for a while, on a 500 acre farm. Those things are downright nasty, especially when they have babies. At that scale, they have to be monitored and checked several times daily and it was always a test of nerves making sure the babies were doing OK and the hogs that were about to deliver had food, water and shade. The thing that made it "fun" was that they like to make a nest in the tall weeds and grass so you don't see them until you're almost on top of them. One of those "feet don't fail me now" type of things on and off all day. Now she raises beef cattle and they aren't all that much better, especially around feeding time. My hat is off t anyone who works with hogs or cattle, and yes, I do enjoy steak and pork chops!

I use my straight menthol liquid for cleansing my palate between flavors... taking a couple of hits. It works great for me now. I am curious about the clove and cinnamon liquids but read they could crack plastic. Putting it into carts is good to know. I tried SI's Sinnabon but didn't care for the cinnamon bun sweetness. I like some sweet but hesitate because of this to try another cinnamon flavor. Do you diy your clove and cinnamon?

Your friend is one brave person. I wouldn't have been hunting for piglets. I've heard that sows are fast movers and fearless

No,I don't DIY. I admire those that do. I have some clove that I ordered from Tasty Vapes and I got it unsweetened. Its potent at 12mg and that's what I use to clean my palate. I also have some Synapse and Sinthol I ordered from SI that are good vapes more cinnamon than sweet and they also work good at cleaning the palate. Some strong citrus flavors can also crack cartos to I think.

He loved to be hand fed and that was scary the first time I did that.

Hope everybody's having a wonderful day. It's really beautiful outside today here in Denver. But it's still rather cold at around 25 degrees F. Tomorrow we'll be having a heatwave; supposed to get up to 40.

HAPPY "late" NEW YEAR everyone. I hope you all have a GREAT New Year full of wonderful GOOD adventures

Welcome back! And I missed you, too.

I'm 51 and I must say I'm enjoying my 50's for the most part. Can hardly wait until I'm 75 so I can say what I want, when I want, belch when I want and I do mean BELCH,or do anything else that I want to that could be misconstrued as rude, crude or unlady like.Wait I pretty much do that anyway. Guess what I'm trying to say at 50 I've learned to like me the way I am and if others don't that's OK to b/c I'm the only one that has to live with me.
With that said, dance on G/F ditch the shoes and dance barefooted, and embrace life !!

I'm the same way. It's been quite awhile since I've seen 50, but I've learned if others don't like what I do they will either get over it or just move on. When one of my nieces recently asked me why I don't get out more, I told her "because I don't have to." I dance around the house in my nightgown if I want to. I pretty much do what I want, when I want, and I don't apologize to anybody for it.

aww come on raynes...there sexy black boots...:p.....no these boots are not made for dancing....but ive worn in now...... omg!!! I have to live with me...its not easy being a :banana:bender....now im 50...I told my master.....there must be 50 ways to leave your  just slip out back jack making new plans sam.............you know the rest....:D

 You're on a roll!

So I've been getting these tiny cuts on my inner lip where my carto goes in, and I thought it was some weird rash from the liquid. But nope, it's from the vinyl carto wrap that's starting to peel off at the seam, ripping my inner lip to shreds. Oh well...guess it's time to start using a binky (er, drip tip)...

Cindy, I thought I was the only one who had that happen. I never threw mine out, I just re-wrapped it with an address label & trimmed off the excess. (It was the clear kind.)

so funny raynes........no dates for this blind bat......... im over those males.......only good for one thing.......and then your hoping....ooops sorry to all those lovely ladies who have wonderful men in there lives.................just don't work for me.......:D

Hehehehe ... I LOVE men  but alas, I have a track record of always picking the wrong ones. Now I love living with ME, but I admit there are times when I have a teensy fantasy.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:....I wouldnt know a real prince if I fell over him..........ok that's abit rude....ok ill live in hope...............yeah right....I got a better chance of winning gold lotto........and you know the odds on that.............

Okay ... there's that track record thing again.

We have been very close to being run off the road by folks looking and trying to take a picture. Whisper loves to look around and usually has her head out when we're riding. I look in my mirror or to the side and usually see someone in a car snapping our picture. I had one lady follow behind me for 10 miles on the freeway. When she pulled to pass, I saw her mouth "that's so cool" and give us a thumbs up! I smile all the time seeing people grabbing their phones at stop lights snapping pictures of Whisper. She's a very popular biker dog!

I can understand why folks want to grab a picture -- Whisper is so cute!!

But I hope nobody causes you to have an accident. I've never had my own bike, but I used to ride with a friend. People in cars act like you're invisible, cut into your space, try to run you off the road. I admit I was scared more than once.

You young ladies are a real HOOT! Just wait until you all are pushing 70. I was watching a Mad Max movie, thinking of Debra in Australia where they filmed it, and I come back and missed three pages of chat. I am still laughing. Good Night All, I wouldn't even think of adding any more humor to your posts, or I would get thrown off of the forum.

We wouldn't want you to get thrown off the forum either -- we'd really miss your wacky wabbit ways. :D

You all will appreciate this, knowing my wit. This "just happened right after I posted". The phone rang and there was nothing in the caller ID. I usually do not answer.

When I answered anyway a voice started right in saying that millions of people fall each year and now there is a service that protects seniors who live alone and fall each year. It went on and on and finally said, press 1 to talk with a representative. Well, I pressed 1 and:

When the representative answered I said "Help I have fallen and I can't get up."

And they hung up on me! :spammers:

LMAO and nearly choking on my coffee -- I'm going to use this one. I get those calls here all the time.

I grew up around pigs and cows both. I was never afraid of the boar, but we had a sow than was mean, mean, mean. I stayed clear of her. The cows were pretty laid-back, but we didn't mess around with the bull. Another mean one.

This forum is just great, I love it guys and gals

I have been away most of the day and when I return, Raynes gives me a story about Arnie the pig which I could not touch in 100 years. My wife ask what is so funny several times, I just could not stop laughing.

Then we alternate between discussions about ticks on horses, menthol vaping, back to pigs, running out of e-liquid, getting older and finally talk about the weather!!!!!!

I am so glad the wabbit digs chicks View attachment 165708
