Sandy, thank you for (finally) sharing your talent in photography with us. Your photos are works of art.

I totally agree with debra and JoAnn, if you ever publish a book of your work I will buy it in an instant.

It's harder to get published than you might think, and there are a lot of more talented photographers out there who probably aren't getting published. I did get paid $50 once upon a time for a magazine to use that photo of Taughannock Falls that was taken in autumn. That's probably going to be the peak of my photographic career, though. Meanwhile, if you want to download my photos for your own personal use, you are welcome to. Maybe you could print them out and make a book for yourself of your favorites. I'll keep sharing, and please tell me to stop if it gets to be too much.

Told Hubby about the Provari and he said, "Good, I'm glad you bought it. Was you worried about telling me?" I told him, "Yes, since I have been on the tight budget kick everyday this week:)"

I knew he would be good with it. He loves that I barely smoke anymore and would really like it if I gave up the last few stinkies a day.

I like to have a lot of different batteries with different-flavor cartos on them so I can keep switching flavors. Then, of course, I have even more cartos waiting to be put on batteries when I want even more of a change. I say, variety is the spice of life. As for the math, I'm a math dunce, too, so someone else will have to answer that one.

The ripples in water always look so beautiful. I love the way the light plays on them and the way the bottom shows through a little. I guess light is what photography is all about, right?

Me, too. I love 555 but I switch back and forth with English Toffee/English Tobacco, Asian Ry4/Vanilla Cupcake, Marlboro/Black Walnut and I love the Sinnabun from Nicquid.

That's a great idea to print your photos and make a book for myself. Since you have given your permission, that is what I'll do.

Regardless of what you say about other photographers, your photos have great appeal to me. The composition, lighting and your skill with the mechanics of your camera all combine to produce some mighty fine pictures, Sandy. Please continue to share them with us.

Yes, I have to dig out more cold winter pics for you, Debra. I got sort of sidetracked there, didn't I?

IMG_0085_zpsd2d1cf04.jpg

In the photo above, you can see how steep it gets around here. The hillsides going down to the lakes are steep, but the land in between is sort of flat. I'd hate to live on this road when there's snow on it!

IMG_0033_zps84ce3408.jpg

This is one of the waterfalls at Watkins Glen State Park. They don't let people walk through the gorge in winter because it's way too icy from all the splashing water, but you can see the first waterfall from the parking lot. Actually, Debra, this would be a perfect place for you to walk in the heat of summer, since even on a hot day, the gorge is deep and shady, and all the water sprays up and cools you. When it's too hot to get any outdoor exercise, this is the perfect place to go for a walk.

I'm so flattered that you like them. Yes, print them out if you want. I'm pleased that people are enjoying them. I have a large collection of photos I've taken, and after you've seen the best of those, things will slow down, since I take a lot of photos that aren't as good as the ones I'm sharing. I think that's the secret -- just take a huge number of shots, and something will turn out right. Digital cameras make that so easy! I don't have to worry about spending a fortune on film, and the gratification is instant.

Here's one of the grapevines in winter. That's Seneca Lake down at the bottom of the hill. The east side of Seneca Lake, which is where this particular winery is, is very densely packed with wineries. You could never visit all of them on one side of the lake in a day and remain standing, if you tasted wine at each one. And there are a couple of breweries and one distillery making hard liquor to break up the monotony, too. There are buses taking people to the wineries, and usually, they are a wild and noisy crowd. When a bus pulls into a winery, if you are just going around in your car, don't expect to taste there soon, since the tasting room will be inundated with people! When guests visit me, I usually am the designated driver and take them around to the wineries. I take a very tiny sip of the wines they really like and think I'll like, and maybe buy some bottles, too, but I'm careful not to drink more than just a taste on my tongue so the guests can do the tasting. Since I live here, I can go taste wine anytime.

Chit Chat, Chit Chat, I watch 3/4ths of the Alabama vs Notre Dame Football game and four pages of vital information pass me by. How can one digest all of this or comment. Great pictures, everyone buying T3s, ProVaris, tons of juice. I feel like a real scrooge with only two Xs, a couple of Nanos, 10 cartos, and only three favorite juice flavors.

Oh Well: What do you call a dumb bunny?
(A hare brain!)

I couldn't blow them up to poster size -- not enough pixels. But you could probably print them out 8" X 10" and put them in a small frame if you wanted. You are welcome to do that with any you like. As for me going into business selling them at flea markets, I think I wouldn't make much money by the time I framed them and rented a booth and sat there all day hoping for a few sales. And I'd have to use fairly expensive frames to make them look like something, and that costs a lot. These ideas sound good till you try them.

Not snow, but can you guess what this is? I thought it looked like some sort of sci-fi city, or maybe from one of those fantasy novels. But it's a stump of a tree, and the little "buildings" are the rough pieces where the 2 cuts weren't made all the way through the tree trunk and they broke off when the tree fell.

First of all.....you are NOT an idiot. No one is born knowing what an X2 is!!!

We were all new at this when we started. Asking questions is how we learned. Well, that and experimenting. lol

Never be afraid to ask questions here. And remember, there are no stupid questions.

Really?? Well then why did the chicken cross the road???? l:laugh:

For me it was smoking two or three cigs before getting to work and as for the day I was a two pack a day smoker. Then when I got my
Starter kit, was not vaping as much. Then I started cutting down the Nic level to 12. I believe my vaping habbits have not changed. Later
I will cut the nic level to 6 and see. But I am comfortable with the 12 nic level for now.
OMGOSH! 2 P. A. D. & only 2 or 3 before work! I was 1/day but loaded up before punching in!

I vape in my work truck all day long. When I get home I'm vaping all night. I have the hand/mouth reaction really bad. Funny, because I never smoked as much as I vape.

When I'm in meetings or places I cannot vape, it doesn't bother me that much. I guess I'm a creature of habit(s). :)
I hardly vape in the vehicle now... Now it's the coffee mug!

OOPS, I just helped with what to use! I have always try to help others in thier time of need.:D
And I thought it was Penny Poo. :p. Another secret Provari user??? Hmm

Where is that "What she said" button?

I'm exactly the same way, Kico! The longest I've ever gone without was 12 hours with no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever...but boy, did I chain vape after that!
 12! The only thing I've gone w/o that long is - (censored)!

In a nutshell, I think it's because cigarettes contain a ton of deadly chemicals in addition to nicotine that had us hooked. With vaping, we only get nicotine so the craving for it is not as intense and we can go for longer periods without it. However, when at home in a relaxed environment, we can kick back and enjoy the hand/mouth satisfaction, enjoy inhaling/exhaling along with a bunch of great flavors. Total enjoyment knowing we are not destroying our bodies and not affecting those around us in a negative way. Just my thought on it.
Flavors! The new addiction!
