That doesn't happen to me. Why? Is it because I have a Mac and the rest of you have PCs? If I post and then leave for a while, I close the lid of my laptop, which puts it to sleep. If I leave it too long that way, it disconnects me from the Internet and I have to wait till it reconnects, but when it does, I'm right back where I left off.

Me too. I'm never logged out or booted off. They don't DARE! trouble.gif

Good evening volties! Sorry to skip forward, but have a question about the X2 battery. I have a charged up battery and I put my T3 on it and when I press the button, it blinks. I tried a carto, same thing. If I don't have anything on it and press the button, it doesn't light. So I put it on the charger. The bottom light comes on where the mini USB plugs in and if I press the button with nothing on it, it lights up and acts normal. So, I tried to do the pass thru thing and as soon as I put my T3 or carto on, it blinks when I press the button. I cleaned the head with rubbing alcohol and it's still not working.

Has anyone else had this happen? Do I have a bad battery? This thing isn't even a month old yet!

I'm going to say good night and go do my exercises (as usual). So here's tonight's good night photo.

I was walking through Cornell Plantations (Ithaca, NY) and saw these feathery branches. I think they might be asparagus. I remember that being feathery like this. Maybe some of you plant experts can ID it for sure. This is another one of my minimalist photos.
at the current rate I'll need another hard drive just for the ECF screen saver files! :D. beee - uuuu-tifulllllll!

I'm taking a stab in the dark but maybe the post on the battery got pushed down too much, or it's. broken battery.

The problem is not adding pictures, I do that with an old old program called Paint Shop Pro, but I can't just upload the picture, it always turns out too small. I then need to post it to a website that I am the webmaster and then link everyone to that site. Luckily, as webmaster I can do that in a private folder.

All of you can right click on the picture and choose "save as", find a spot on your computer and download the picture that way. I keep it on my desktop to remind me of who is on line and who I am talking to. I'm too old to remember everyones face at one time.

I used to use paint shop pro! I guess I'm old!

I have been playing with computers since they first came out in the 70s. Wrote my own programs for years in "basic", when you had to start computers with a floppy disk. Kids do not even know what a floppy disk is now. The last 10 years of my employment with a small bank, I was the Chief Information Officer - Network Manager. I still have a lot to learn as things change every month in this business.

I remember doing some stuff in basic - hello world! My first assigned computer (while I was still in the Navy) was a old zenith that required floppy boot ups and the other floppy was my program disk. Now I am dating myself!

We have a lot of Canadian geese in my area. I love seeing the parents walking the babies around. They stop traffic often, but at least people are civil enough to stop and let them cross.

another blonde....at least your not dumb like me...love to see the long hair....on us ladies....yes its a pain in the you know what...one day ill cut mine all off...

I did the blond thing for awhile. Here's a picture of me when I was fully promoted to Radioman First Class in Naples Italy in 1987:

Last time I cut mine was when I was 18 and a beautician butchered my hair. That was it for me. Mine is the same color from roots to tips (thanks to Clairol). Yeah, with your injury, I can certainly understand why you had it cut. And it looks great! It's funny. My late husband always loved my hair - especially when it was all wild, which it is frequently. He asked me never to cut it, so I never did. Still can't do it out of respect.

My hair has always been waist length most of my life. I would keep the ends clipped to prevent splitting about twice a year. My husband never wanted me to cut my hair either but I got tired of him rolling over on it pinning me to the bed when I would try to get up. I'm too old to be going through that every night so when I retired, I had it cut shoulder length and HE was devastated! I loved it... he got over it... had no choice. Now it's sooo much easier to manage... less weight to it too. I don't know why I waited this long. Extra long hair is a thing of the past for me and I'm soooo happy!

I just submitted a ticket. Ugh! It throws a monkey wrench into my rotation! Silly habitual me!!! ;)
Nope - an "orderly" life!

Good night volties. I had an absolutely icky day. Time for a glass of wine and get to bed. Hope everyone has a pleasant evening/day wherever you are!
Yummo! Cheers for a great Friday!

You know what? This might be "Cougarville" but there's a mighty big bunch of some goodlookin' LIONS in this pride!!! All of um!!! Oh yeah! ;) :D
LOL Well put!

... and you thought that was an accident??? :p I could barely make shoulder (once I had a choice) - 7 yrs ago discovered : a) it was the rust & magnese(?) buildup from well water; b) Malbu Treatments to remove it. So close to making waist length! Having lost several layers of skin off the ears after slipping out on horseback to have a stinky w/ a friend (January) I have to keep them covered for warmth most of the year to prevent earaches. Can't find the old style earmuffs so usually ended up with an epic rats nest bcs of collars @ my seasonal job. So it was snip-snip to shoulders. Another sad hubby.

Have a great day y'all!

Mornin Catlady!
