Good evening volties! Well, I've taken the first step to becoming a DIY'er! Just placed a huge order with a bunch of different flavors. Of course I had to get a couple of toys along with it. The past two days have been an absolute horror to top it off I was rewarded with a freaking sty in on the corner of my right eye this morning. Yippee! I noticed people looking at it all day. It always happens when I'm stressed. So, I figured I'd cheer myself up and buy some vaping stuff! I will say that I never thought about buying a pack of cigarettes the past couple of days, so vaping is here to stay for me!

Those of you that DIY, I will probably be asking a few questions along the way! I hope everyone has a great weekend, I know I need one!

Put a warm teabag on that sty. You poor thing, you have had a tough couple of days.

SandySu, your photos are excellent. White Rabbit, very nice job on the collage.

I was just telling Raven yesterday that she needs to get on this thread and post more. She loves you folks. You are like family to her. Raven is busy working on the plans for her son's house. But maybe you'll hear more from her. I hope so.

hey bluesman ....good to see the fingers are walking...might have to call you bluesman wolf...;)

Well, my old computer finally bit the dust. It's been a workhorse for years, so it really doesn't owe me anything. Actually, the computer is probably fine; it's the monitor that died. For about a year now it's been behaving strangely from time to time, and this evening, it just turned itself off. I restarted the computer, and it was still black, so I think it's gone for good. This is an eMac, which came out when the iMacs did, but from reviews I read, it was tougher and hardier than the iMac, so I bought this kind, even though it was harder to find. They made the eMac for schools, so I guess they needed to take more abuse or last longer or whatever. So what does one do with a defunct computer? Since I knew it was on its way out and had lots of warning, all my stuff is on this new computer, and I just used the old one to play games. The games are even on this new computer. Now I just have to get used to the smaller area the directional keys (the ones with arrows) are in, since the new computer is a laptop. I like this one. I't so much more transportable. Taking the old eMac anywhere felt a little like moving day. This one fits in a computer carrying case the size of a slim attache case.

So, does anyone want a defunct eMac for the price of shipping? I suppose some people could use it for parts. Probably it will be better to donate it locally. There's a guy who fixes computers who might want it.

Get the wireless mouse and you're good to go. Especially since you like playing video games... much better control and quicker response.

One more photo, and then it's off to do my exercises and get to bed early. I have to be at the barn early tomorrow morning for the hoof trimmer.

This is a peony from the bush in our yard. They smell lovely and are beautiful, but they attract those big black ants. One year it must have been a good one for the ants because the overflow from the yard invaded the house. Since then, I put out ant traps in the house when the peony bush gets buds, but the ants have never been as prolific as that one year. I guess conditions were just right for them, though I can't remember any unusual weather. Someone told me that the ants and the peonies have a symbiotic relationship. That is, each needs the other. The ants eat the sweet sap, which opens the peony's buds. So I guess big black ants are a necessary evil, if I want lovely peonies.

I have a mouse from the old computer, and I plan to keep that in case I want to use it instead of the touch pad. But some of the games use the keyboard, so I'll just have to get used to a different feel. I'm sure I'll get used to it. After all, it'll be a piece of cake after learning to use the touch pad. Boy! Was that a challenge!

Don't ask me for help, I need all the help that I can get.

I am hoping that my new flavors like Waffle, Strawberry, Double Chocolate, and Orange will make a juice I can finally LOVE:thumbs:

Can't remember who asked several pages back, but the Volt Spinners are now up on the SI website.

I was finally able to get my order completed at last. Was trying to decide between red and purple but that was taken out of my hands... no red in the lineup... so 900 purple spinner it was. Now all I have to do is wait (impatiently) for it to come. I also ordered Niquids Sinnamon 30ml size. That is some good stuff! This flavor just might kick RY4 out of it's #1 spot!

That is a full 100% pure North American Gray Wolf. His name is Alyeska. There is a place I go in Indiana which is a research and education facility devoted to the study of wolf behavior. It is actually up the road a bit from where Raven lives. The funny thing is, she's never been there.

At the ranch, we have permits to treat sick and injured wildlife, but we do not have permits to keep them. Once we treat them we must move them on to a licensed facility. We can only keep domestic and farm animals.
OH WOW Alyeska is beautiful !!! I can see why Raven wouldn't go to the facility, it would break her heart,(mine to) to see wild animals out of their natural habitat. If I had several hundreds of acres I would try to rescue a small herd of mustangs so they would have a place to roam freely undisturbed like God intended for them to WITH the exception colts would have to be gelded and any stallions.

Did you notice that Volt Spinner only has adjustments for 3.3 to 4.8 volts.

The E-Go Spinner is less money and adjusts for 3.0 to 6 in infinate increments.

AND if you want tho pay for one, the ProVari adjusts from 2.9 to 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, 4.8, 4.9, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9 and 6.0 volts.

I guess you get what you pay for. Frankly, I am currently satisfied with my X2 900 at a set output.

I went ahead and bought the Provari. So now I switch between the Provari and my X2s. My Volts I use when I am shopping at the grocery store. I don't vape in the store but I do vape all the way to the door:)

The Provari is nice and very advanced but then you have to have new hardware for it too so... I guess I'll never stop spending money on my new hobby:)

You Naughty Girl You  Eventually I will move up, first to the Vamo I think, then much much later to the ProVari

Headed to bedtime, good night all, Good Morning Debra when you read this in OZ. Hope you are not near any of the fires I hear about in Australia, they seem to be south of you.

The Vision spinner has the same voltage output as the ego twist... 3.3 to 4.8. The difference is in the dial on the spinner is knurled and much easier to read than the twist. The spinner appears very similar to the SI spinner, the difference is the 808 connection. Also slightly shorter than the Vision spinner i.e., 1100 ego spinner is 119mm in length; SI 1300 spinner is 113mm in length. The SI spinner appears to be a very well made little vv device in my opinion.

I have a lab bench power supply that goes from 0-30V (example 4.567V or 6.560V or 12.230V) and 0 to 10amps (yes it can limit amps too). It would be a pain to carry around though.

Aside from the provari. On the e-Go bigger range doesn't mean it's a better power supply it might be the sloppiest thing around. Most probably a linear regulator or some cheap chinese smps (mc34063 clones). It would be better if you had real and good regulation at a closer range rather than strange outputs.

However i have no idea what the SI's version has.

Actually, Raynes, it is about a hundred acres and they do live in a natural habitat. Wolves in the wild want nothing to do with humans because we smell funny, and they can smell us from miles away.

The wolves at this facility want nothing to do with humans either and they don't really want to change that. However, these wolves are more used to humans being around, so they are less concerned.

It is an experience to be that close to a wolf. It is a very humbling moment. They are such beautiful creatures.

Hey everyone, good morning.
I haven't posted in a bit....been so busy and have been having some health problems, too, so that means making time for dr visits and tests, etc....but I lurk on my tap a talk thing on my phone. Don't really like it, isn't the same as being in the forum for real, but I can kind of keep up with everything....kind of.

Wabbit, nice picture grouping....I wasn't sure I wanted to have my face out there, combine shy with anxiety and you have me....but I figured if all of you could do it (Q & Holly where are you?) then I would do it this once, too. It's nice to see what you all look like. And also, Wabbit, a bit back you said you had trouble getting to the forum...you had to go to the main page....go to Suppliers....then find SI....what I do is use my Internet Explorer's bookmark. I just bookmark my favorite places and then pop around that way. It would be nice if the forum had a way to do that, but I can't find anything.

Blues! So glad to see you posting again. We've all been praying for you. :)

Sandy Su - nice photos. You really have an eye for that. The one with the mirror is cool. My husband does our backyard and puts old mirrors in the foliage so that you have to do a double take because it reflects other flowers and stuff....looks cool. :)

Hope Holly is ok. Haven't seen her around since she said she had the flu.

And Tail.....sorry about your eye. Hope you're feeling better.

One more thing......I liked the Niquid Sinnabun at first....then it seemed a little strong for my tastes so I mixed my Apple flavor with the Sinnabun and got a Sinnabun Apple....OMG Yum!
