Aww Lizzie, you and your horsey, too cute!

Just a quick stop to say hi to everyone and check in. I have fallen behind and so I'm letting the 'likes' go until I get caught up. Hope you all know how much I enjoy the stories and photos. If anyone mentions an illness, I add them to my healing list. I have noticed a lack of Blues and Rave, or maybe I'm just not up to date enough.

I have been shopping....not ready to post about it until everything is delivered and I can actually use it properly, which might take time knowing me! Figures, as soon as I make a decision and place an order, SI comes out with VV, sigh. Everything as it's meant to be though, so I am happy with what I picked out.

Soooo, back to lurking and reading up, hope you are all having a great weekend!

I've been wondering about Blues and Rave, too. Report in, guys!

Thanks Raynes, I need that coffee this morning:) Can't seem to wake up. Enjoy that grandson. How old is he? Sounds cute with the curly red hair.

It is 32 degrees out this moening and Hubby said there was a lot of fog on his way to work. Looks like it will be pretty nice out today. I hope so since I want to get my little horse out and brush him and maybe take him for a little walk around the neighborhood later today.
Thanks Lizzie ,he is cute so you know he didn't get his looks after me. Issac's 2yrs old and as most toddlers are,he goes wide open.

Okay - Jumping in to say a couple of things that might be hopefully helpful . . .

First, As far as I am concerned and IMO - Nothing compairs to the Volt Product line and the service of Smokeless Image, especially when you are looking for something similar to what you are use to and easy . . . However, even with that said there are times "you" will find that youmight need something more . . .

Now without a doubt - YES - The GV Threads can be a little intimidating and can get a little "rough" depending on who is there and who is trying to out do the other. Matter of fact, there are some people who I would never ever introduce any of you to :nah:, however there are a lot more really great people there that would be more then willing to answer anyone's question and/or discuss "Stuff" with "You" :D like "Modrod.", "AG51" (aka "anita"), "tiburon" (aka "tibs"), "IThrenodylI", "MaxedOut", "Psyche", "CountSmackula", "thehangdude"; "kritter", "Prism" (Who also happens to be a PIF Moderator), "Lauralie" (Who is also a "Voltie"), "burns_erin", "Ccat","harmonic"; "SnakeSkinTa", "Reddhott", "Slowone2", "Adeana" & "keelalagirl" (GV Supplier Associates) and "badkolo" (aka Chris and one of the Partners of GV) I could even go on with a few more ECF Names . . . All These People Are GOOD PEOPLE and very helpful, just as "We" Volties are here . . . I would even suggest that any of "You" could PM any of them that I mentioned with any question you might have and they would be more then willing to answer you . . . Just Tell Them That Uncle Sent Ya' (but I wouldn't mention that in the thread if I were "You" - Just sayin' ;) ) . . .   (BTW: These people know "Me" and are also ECF Friends of mine that have also helped "Me" at times too  . . . :D)

@ "Wabbit" - Just as an FYI: already a Mod out there called "The Silver Bullet" . . . Just sayin' ;)

@ "JoAnnW" - The "2Cent" is a little device (aka Fuse) you put in Mod to protect from short circuits, especially if you are using a APV/Mod that has a large battery . . .;)

Here is a Very Good Review here - from one of the few excellent reviewers out there - "IGETCHA69"/"Scott":
(Matter of fact, he is the one I go to first to see if he has reviewed the item I am interested in . . . ;) )

I Do Hope This Information Was Helpful . . .:D

The 2 cent is really what it says! a 2 cent fuse sold in the price of 10 dollars!
Nice!

Good morning our beloved Uncle :)

The Wabbit just could not wait to Mod His Mod. I used a little Dremel Tool to grind down the end of a Winchesteer 7mm/08 silver shell (spent shell of course) and super glued it to my Vamo Fire Button. I am going to call her The Silver Bullet

Hey Wabbit, what kind of adhesive did you use to make that mod? I may go with a Vamo and you got me thinking about a .357 or .223 button cap.

I just used one small drop of Super Glue. I have no idea whether it will hold up or not, but if I did not like it, I have some some disolve product which will remove it if I desire. For a more permanent job I have read on the forum to use J B Weld. That will hold it forever.

Vamo my first review:

First, the batteries Panasonic Industrial high drain CGR18650CH took forever to charge the first time, over 9 hours, but perhaps it is the inexpensive Trustfire Charger I bought.

Second, it is nice using VV to dial down the voltage to 3.0 or 3.1 on fruit juice. It really brings out the flavor. On my X2 at 3.7 I found the flavors of peach or orange to sometime be harsh, however at 3.0, they are very mild and flavorful. On the other hand, my tobacco flavors taste better at 3.8 to 4.0 volts. I have not gone beyond that point yet because I don't want to take a chance on burning up my cartos, not knowing all of the details on how to use this device yet.

Three, it produces a rather airy draw, but provides lots of vapor with SI Cartos. ( I purchased an adaptor so I would not have to buy 510 cartos. I love SI blanks). I have not tried my Mini Vivi Nova, which did not work well on my X2s (for my tastes anyway).

Four, IT IS HUGE with the 18650 battery installed. I may have to purchase the smaller 18350s and just use one to decrease the size, however I need to get comfortable with it before making any other purchases. At full length it does not fit well in my shirt pocket where I usually carry my X2s

Five, I like the various digital readouts telling you the battery voltage, Ohms of any carto or tank which is installed, and being able to change from VV to VW (which I have not tried yet). The Stainless Steel model seems very well made, and mine had no defects as some have reported like cracked or misaligned screens, mialigned threads at the top and it came with the upgraded strong battery spring which many have had to purchase separately to keep the battery cap from overheating.

Overall, at less than $50 for the basic mod (without batteries, charger, adaptor etc) it provides all if not more functionality than the ProVari, but not the reputation of course for being a high quality device. Perhaps that will change for the better or worse as more people comment on the durability and build quality.

I'm using the panasonic about a year. Very nice bat, can discharge with 10Amps.
I have also a samsung that can discharge at 22Amps... You can jumpstart cars with this one.
On mods i believe it's far more power than requested.

And yes it was your charger, you need a stronger one for these batteries.

I'm going to have to analyze all of them with a pro analyzer i have so we can see the performance.

hello wabbit.....where having lots of windy weather and rain....lots of folks...have had there houses wrecked....I safe....but if this creek goes under tonight...we will be trapped in for awhile...

I have heard on the telly that you all were having some bad weather this summer, fires, storms etc. Keep safe over there young lady. We have a TV show over here where folks purchase homes around the world and pick and choose what to buy. They had one about a lady from England who met her mate from Australia and were buying a home near the ocean about 30 miles from your house. The area looked just fabulous, quite tropical with palm trees and beautiful flowers. The area in which you live looks almost like paradise if it were not so  hot in the summer.

Heading off to church, catch you later.

That happens around here sometimes Deb. I swear the house actually feels like it is bending some days when the wind is really up. We haven't had but a few winds like that so far this year. We might get a bit of wind and some snow today. Guess I'll have to go get some firewood a bit later.

Stay safe. The creek flooding would be a bit much:)
