YIKES, I'm in big trouble again: I just learned how to make SCONES!

Nice thing is, I can make them with white wheat flour and Splenda and sneak in veggies (I made zucchini walnut spice), but all health benefits vanish with the dip in cream cheese glaze.

Oh, well...I guess life's too short to be a size 0.

You crack me up. I have a question--If you knew you were going to be in big trouble,why did you learn to make scones?

This flower is one of the few that I have no problems growing and I'm glad they are perennials. Love the picture because I don't have this color.

I'm guessing... she probably just thought to try a new recipe for a healthy snack but when she tasted it... decided to step it up a notch and dip that delicious sounding scone into that equally delicious-sounding cream cheese (oh yummy, yummy) glaze than realized what her new weakness will be...! Of course I'm just guessing! Can't speak for her but.. Oh My Lord!!! That sounds soooooo goooood!!

Rave, great to see you back on here again. Say "Hi" to Blues for me as well. I'm sure, over time, he'll be back to more of his normal old self, physically. Bypass surgery, plus some complications afterward, can be a tough recovery. A very good friend of mine had it done years ago and I remember him hugging a pillow for about a month because it felt, to him, like his chest was going to split open again.

Cindy, you gotta share that scone recipe! I love scones, and all breads, and haven't had any scones in too many years.

Soooooooooooooooo Much to catch up on, since I only took off 1 day to vape and relax. Great to see Rave post again, but not so great to hear Blues is not feeling well. Good Vibes coming out to Blues everyone!

I've sure gotten old!
I"ve had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes.
I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, am winded and subject to blackouts with dementia.
I have poor circulation, hardly feel my hands and feet anymore.
Can't remember whether I am 85 or 92, and have lost all my friends, But Thank GOD,
I still have my driver's license.

There must have been some premeditation, or she wouldn't have had the cream cheese glaze. I wonder if she used neufchatel cheese (low-fat cream cheese) if it would be less sinful.

Good morning, everyone. Today is gray, and rain is predicted. It's above freezing, so the snow is melting a little. I'm glad I went to see Penny yesterday, when the weather was so beautiful. Your morning photo is another flower, a trillium. I think I posted another picture of these magical flowers before, but I really love them, so here's another. In spring, you can see them hiding at the edges of woods, nestled under the trees, poking out of the fallen leaves. I don't know quite why I think trilliums are so special. Maybe it's because I never saw them before coming to live in this area.
