You might check Oriental Trading ... ;-) :D

LOL Raynes - just read about Trooper!
Meant to tell you -yes Sultan is "king" ; Habib, Molly & Spice are all meanies to Zane & Ameera ... not sure on the pecking order btwn the 3 tho ... with Sultan in proximity - Molly rules ... I really need another gate to physically separate them just while I'm dishing up. Once they are chowing down keeping Sul & Mol tied is sufficient. Til then Zane & Ameera stay just outside while the other 2 try to crowd & now nip at Molly if Sultan can't reach them w/ his backside.
[Once the 4 are eating the meek will eagerly come into their pen - not a moment before.]

They have figured out both arms up and wide means back off ... reinforced w/ a whip wooshed nearby.
I understand the pecking order ... but I sure don't like it. Sometimes seems like trying to give the meek a lil protection at dinner makes it worse for them when let out again. ?... grr ....

Penny is generally pretty low in the pecking order, and I used to feel sorry for her being bullied by other, more assertive horses, but as time went on, I noticed she didn't mind, and in fact, she seemed to take comfort in the bullies being so strong. What looks to humans like it would be intolerable treatment isn't the same to a horse. They don't seem to mind being pushed around.

It's important, though, that you keep order at feeding time and don't let greedy horses overpower you. That whip is an excellent idea. I've heard of more accidents at feeding time from horses that were never taught manners. Believe me, you don't want to get knocked down or kicked or bitten. I knew someone who got a rather bad bite on her hand because as she was carrying hay to a horse, the horse tried to grab a bite of hay from her hand and bit her by accident.

It wasn't feeding that did me in, but now I know just how hurt you can get and not even be in the saddle. Please be very careful!

Thx Sandy - I felt bad about putting one horse in that bunch down. Reality was - I'm not set up for that many " wild" ones. She was very quick to swing & raise her rump and no way to carry a whip along w/ the grain among 6 milling and drooling for lunch! It felt so un-safe. There was no joy in either choice.

Wabbit: have you checked www.ecigexpress.com/cookbook ?
Black Walnut Pipe sounds interesting ...

I made the black cherry bacco recipe yesterday. Just waiting for it to steep. I'll let you know how it turns out Rabbit.

Some people swear by clicker training. I've tried it, and it just seems easier to say "Good girl" and then give her a treat. That works about the same and seems more natural to me. Here's a good site to learn about clicker training horses. The Clicker Center

I don't know anything about horses, but when Whisper and I went through level 1 dog training, I used a clicker. To this day if she hears it, she'll look straight at me. That was 3 years ago.

On a side note, I just got back from my dentist appointment. I told the doctor I had quit smoking and took up vaping. She wasn't thrilled, but when I told her I wasn't inhaling 4000 + chemicals in cigarettes any longer, she did perk up at that.

She suggested for me to use ACT dry mouth mouthwash twice a day to keep my saliva up. She said that when you do not have saliva in your mouth, it becomes a breeding ground for bad bacteria. I told her I drink tons of water, and she said good, but to use ACT every day. I thought I'd pass this info along. YMMV.

Thx Tail - probably good to have on hand -esp when first starting out.
Do you still notice dry mouth?

I don't but figure it's bcs I ALways have a mug in my hand ,., so much I was surprised to realize I'd brought it into the store when I took mom in!

Haven't been to the mailbox but hapoy to see I may have most of what's needed to attempt a tobacco flavor!

Thanks for this. I currently have weekly dental appts, so I'll be back there again on Thurs & see what mine has to say. I told him last week that I was waiting on my vaping order to come in. His immediate response was that if it would help me quit smoking, he was on board. We shall see if this view holds. :)

You do not want the kind of injury I have. Believe me. You need to be safe, and you need to do what's necessary to stay safe. After many years with horses, I've learned to listen to that little warning voice in my head. If I feel something's unsafe, it probably is. I've relied on that voice, which is why my injury is so puzzling. There was no warning, nothing to make me worried. Penny had been out with that other horse for about a year, and I noticed him grow attached to her, but he never gave me any trouble before that disastrous time.

Is there a way you can feed them from beyond the fence? Maybe you could hang feeders along the fence, well-spaced so there was no fighting and pushing, and pour the grain in from the outside of the fence. Or is it feeding hay that's the problem? I guess you could just throw it over the fence. They say to make one more hay pile than there are horses, and that way, everyone can get a chance at some hay, even if there's lots of chasing.

Here's a feeder that clips on a wire fence, though I don't know how that would work with electrified wire. And wouldn't it make the wire sag after a while? http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=0b282f21-5ff5-4b98-b8de-7824cb89cfa6

This is the kind I've seen used, which works really well with a board pasture fence. http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=0eda2652-b761-403c-8049-c9a54d86e60a

BTW, just like Jeffers, Valley Vet is a good place to order from. They have good prices, fairly high-quality stuff, and I think they also have that deal where shipping is free if you order over a certain dollar amount.

I do experience dry mouth. I'm always drinking something. I stopped drinking coffee/tea products, but I'm hooked on Diet Dr Pepper. I usually have one in the morning, then switch to water the rest of the day. I just bought some ACT, and a CVS knockoff of dry mouth spray. I just used the spray, and it gives you a minty taste and my mouth isn't as dry feeling.

Thanks for this. I currently have weekly dental appts, so I'll be back there again on Thurs & see what mine has to say. I told him last week that I was waiting on my vaping order to come in. I hope so! I always tell my doctors that I've quit smoking by vaping. I'm hoping to educate as many as I can!

Dah - meanin to ask how Whisper got her name ... Beethoven does that when he hears anyone in the fridge! :D

Sent from my GT-P3113 using Tapatalk 2

Whisper was a rescue dog. She was dropped off at a shelter with her mother, brother, and sister. A Minpinrescue.org volunteer picked them up and fostered them. Her foster mom gave her that name as all of the foster kids picked on her, and she never whimpered or made a sound. She was 4 months old when I got her, and she already knew her name and I liked it so it stuck.

She did finally find her vocal cords after awhile. Sometimes it gets so bad I call her Bob Barker! ;)

Folks, just saw this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/casaa/380220-casaa-research-fund.html

I just submitted my small donation. I'm not trying to guilt you or anything, but if you do have a couple of dollars, it would be going to good use to keep us vaping. If you are already giving to CASAA, this is a different fund.

Excerpt from CASAA:

E-cigarette chemistry, a review of the research and analysis of its health implications

There have been numerous studies of the chemistry of e-cigarette liquid and vapor, and they have found similar results. They have consistently shown nothing that suggests serious concern. However, these facts are not obvious because the results as they have been published cannot be usefully interpreted by anyone without expertise in environmental health. The result is that political spin – particularly that by the US FDA regarding their study – has crowded out the science. The fact that the actual FDA chemistry results showed the same lack of reason for concern as other studies has been difficult to communicate.

CASAA has secured the interest of an internationally respected professor of environmental and occupational health at a major university to write a review of the existing research on e-cigarette chemistry and put it in perspective what health risks such exposures create (or do not create). This researcher is familiar with tobacco harm reduction and will not be intimidated by pressure from the tobacco control industry, but is not a harm reduction activist, and so cannot be said to be biased. He is known for being an impeccable scientist. These factors will make it difficult for regulators and anti-THR activists to dismiss the analysis.

A grant of $15,000 will allow him to conduct this research, and if we can raise the money within the next month or two, we can have a result by late summer, in time for it to be considered in discussion of new e-cigarette regulations.

This cost is a small fraction of what has been spent doing the original chemistry lab work, but by making more effective use of those results, it will produce research that we believe will immediately become the most important single analysis about e-cigarette chemistry and exposures.

what receptionist, voice menus don't need live people at all.

I'm not sure about vaping causing side effects. Anybody know where to get sunglasses with a third lens mounted on to of the nose bridge?

Can you make the Graucho Marx glasses/mask work? You know the ones with the big nose and bushy eyebrows?

Bah, everyone who's waiting for my reply to your pm's regarding the shirts, please give me until tomorrow. I work these afternoon shifts (like in 20 minutes), but I have tomorrow off.

In fact, I just sat here for a while working on responding to everyone, when I tried to upload an image the whole thing froze, then wouldn't let me upload, then told me I had bad names in the address......ARRGGGHHHH lol. I guess I am meant to do this tomorrow without distractions, so decided to post here quickly instead.

OK, All kidding aside for this post

I have been at it again doing some DIY and so far the only flavors that give me  are 4% Peach and one drop Orange TFA flavors from WL. Also Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate and Hershey Chocolate (My Reeses PB Cup) Sorry I lost the percentages because of experimentation, but I made 30 ML and it is pretty good (not great).

My efforts at tobacco flavors just can't compare with my favorites Black Magic (EC Blends) and Huntsman (Heathers Heavenly Vapes). Those two have TONS of flavor and vapor. I have steeped Lizzie's blends for over two weeks and they are not too bad but as everyone else is trying to do I need a GREAT DIY all day vape.

Any recipies for GREAT Tobacco Vapes will be rewarded with new jokes, promise!

PS: What I do enjoy about the VAMO and I am sure the same goes for the SI VV model is that most of my flavors taste better at different voltages and you can dial in the flavor just right.

A new good flavor I just tried from WL / TFA is mint candy at 12%. It's like a nice mint / slight menthol with a hint of chocolate. The only dessert flavor I can vape all day.

Another one I am using a lot is the butterscotch at about 7%ish. Nice flavor, not overpowering.

And, you want something to get addicted to, try their Cinnamon Red Hots flavor. Yes it will cloud up the tank, but otherwise it's totally fine. I have been doing it as my #1 vape in the T3's since Dec. 24th.

Finally, don't use Cherry Blossom in the T3's. It destroyed one in less than 4 hours, a brand new T3. I had assumed the plastic was the same as the newer CE2's.

Off to work, have a great day.

So, I will leave everyone with a funny:

Mark

Since the discussion was operating systems earlier:

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0 .

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 , and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0 , NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1 .

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail..

What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate.

------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------

DEAR DESPERATE ,

First, keep in mind that Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme. html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1 . Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta .

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources).

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crashHusband 1.0 .

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7...
Good Luck!
Tech Support

OK, if it's joke time, this one will appeal to the horsey among us, and maybe others will get it, too.

Horses vs. Husbands

Good Things About Husbands:

Husbands are less expensive to shoe.

Feeding a husband doesn't require anything that even mildly compares with the hassle of putting up hay.

A lame husband can still work.

A husband with a belly-ache doesn't have to be walked.

Husbands don't try to scratch their heads on your back.

They're better able to understand puns.

If they're playing hard to catch you may be able to run them down on foot.

They know their name.

They pay their own bills.

They apologize when they step on your toes.

They seldom refuse to get in the vehicle.

They don't panic, yelling and running all through the house when you leave them alone. (unless you left the kids too)

For a nominal fee you can hire someone else to clip them.

Men rarely pee in the middle of the bed day in and day out.

Men don't usually trample their dinner into their beds, or eat the bedding.

You don't have to bolt the door every time you leave them for a few minutes to stop them running back to their friends.

The Horse's Advantage:

If they don't work out you can sell them.

They don't come with in-laws.

You don't have to worry about your children looking like them.

You never have to iron their saddle pads.

If you get too fat for one you can shop for a bigger one.

They smell good when they sweat.

You can repair their "clothes" with duct tape.

It's possible to keep them from "jumping the fence".

You can force them to stay in good physical condition...with a whip if necessary.

They don't want their turn at the computer.

They turn white with age, but not bald.

They learn to accept restraint.

They don't care what you look like, as long as you have a carrot.

Your horse will not think a new pair of shoes every month is excessive.

Your horse will be glad of the company if you go shopping for another one, and your friends will approve of you keeping more than one, as this is more natural.

OK Cheap Mod - DIY carto tank Video Here: DIY Carto Tank

I went to Tractor Supply and purchased two (2) 20 ML Syringes. Then cut off about 1.25" of the tube, used a drill with an old carto as a bit and drilled out the rubber plungers so that a carto will slide in. Slotted a long carto from SI in Stainless Steel with my Dremel Tool. Put the whole thing together and had a hard time filling it, but it does work and vapes well. No leaks so far. Total Cost: 1 Carto and $ 4.00.

Not very pretty but it works:

It does seem a little suspect that the death rate from tobacco related problems, or the problems themselves for that matter, didn't seem to become a problem until the tobacco was "manipulated" with chemical additives to make it more, err, ahh, pleasant (actually more addictive but we all know that). Maybe if that part of the tobacco industry were properly regulated the problem would be significantly reduced. Just a random thought, but then again there may no be enough profit in it, for the companies or the Government.

Here I go - replying to old posts again, but I can't resist this.

What scares me is: What if they decide that they need to "manipulate" our eliquid the same way (by adding all of those chemical additives).

No, I don't think that'll work. The eyebrows will get in that third eye.

Until they can regulate DIY that way I feel pretty safe.

Rave, I am worried about that as well. Since Lorillard picked up Blu, I'm imagining a room full of sinister scientists brewing up lots of ejuice with the same awful crap that cigarettes are full of. I hope not, but I'm concerned that if BT gets involved, the juice we know today won't be the same tomorrow. I'd imagine BT will want to keep us coming back for more, so why not throw in some additives to ensure that?

Perhaps I need to take my tin foil hat off now...
