Hi Everybody.

Well, between unexpected visitors, going into work early and staying late, and becoming sick again yesterday, I haven't completed these inventories and I am sorry for those that are waiting.

This is the first time I have come back to this thread in a few days, and I am sitting here sweating with a fever, but just wanted to update everyone while I wait for the Nyquil to kick in. Dang 2nd time in about a month I have been sick, this one is slightly different than the last one. Probably because I work at a grocery store where everyone goes when they are sick to get meds and soup.

Anyway, haven't caught up on the last 30+ pages I missed, but pray everyone is doing ok.

Alrighty....take care.

Mark

Feel better, Mark. I don't mind waiting to hear about the shirts. It's more important that you take care of yourself, get plenty of rest, and feel well.

Just catching up with all of the PM Chat. Hope you are feeling better Mark, and the rest of you "take care of your dogs, cats, and horses".

Nothing much happening around the wabbit hole (house). Had a little snow, took my grandsons to a trampoline park (indoors), soaked in the hot tub while the snow came down (now that is fun), and now after a good nights sleep, going to church and resting the balance of the day.

For Lizzie: I was running somewhat short on my favorite vapes, so I tasted some of your RY4 with a little vanilla. It was very good after two weeks of steeping, so I mixed up a 10 ML batch, and mixed it with 10 ML of purchased RY4 and now I have 20 ML of juice to last me until my next order arrives. I need to order some more DBL RY4 flavoring, but Wizard Labs is slow opening its new facility and is not taking orders yet. I might have to go elsewhere for some flavors.

Catch you all later.

Jeesh, hit the hay early 'cause I haven't been feeling up to snuff and missed a ton!

Bling - I keep my batteries in "stock' condition. I do use labels on all my delivery systems, P-Touch, and they stay on even with washing everything in hot water. So if they're using a similar adhesive the bling should stay put.

Lizzie, I sure don't envy you with two dachshunds! My Great Aunt and my Grandmother both had a dachshund each, they lived together. One was a full sized, one was a mini. Both were spoiled rotten and over weight from being over fed. Long story short, I ended up with both of them, and we already had our own dog at the time, a mutt. Those were the two most stubborn dogs I've ever dealt with. I'm fairly big and have always been the pack leader with all of our dogs, but these two came from another universe, let alone planet.

Neither was house broken, properly, and I was very glad we had redone the floors to bare hardwood a few month before. It took almost six months of constant work to get them to go outside to do their business, even with the lead of our mutt who was house broken as a pup.

Neither wanted to run, play or exercise in any way. Our mutt would go out on the overhead run in the back yard for hours and chase moths and butterflies, birds or what ever. These two just sat on the doorstep and barked to come back in. The funniest scene was when my business partner decided to walk the full size one on a leash. My business partner is 6' 4" and weighs about 350 pounds. Compared to the dachshund, even the full size, he was like the Jolly Green Giant. He got the dog on the leash, out the front door and down the driveway to the sidewalk. It was a struggle, the dog kept planting its feet and refusing to walk, but he kept tugging an cajoling it along to the sidewalk. Once there, he started off down the sidewalk along the front of our house. The whole time I'm watching from the bay window in the living room. They went about ten feet, the dog planted its feet and slipped the collar right off. He kept right on going, unaware the dog was just sitting on the sidewalk. The picture of this 6'4" guy, in a dark three piece suit, head held proudly because he was able to get the dog walking on the leash, walking an empty collar and leash down the sidewalk is still in my minds eye after 40 years!

Don't worry about how many ml you're vaping, just keep vaping through it, please?

So what happened to the dachshunds? When did your partner realize there was no dog at the end of the leash? That HAD to be priceless !!!

Sitting down, facing forward.

My partner walked about forty or fifty feet, with a haughty look because he could walk the dog on a leash and I couldn't while I laughed hard enough that he eventually heard me and looked around in complete consternation. It was a great laugh. The full size had bad back problems from the excess weight and we did get him down to a reasonable weight, but it got him eventually. The mini lived on after that, but really missed his big brother and would look all over the house for him right up until he finally went to doggy heaven.

I would have let him walked the whole block if that had been me LOL,I'd have just had to and snapped a pic.
I'm so sorry that both of them died. Personally I like dachshunds then I've never had one,I just visited.

I needed coffee for this round of replies. Have a cup. It's French Roast this morning.

Tail - Whisper has had quite the life. You are such a good dog mommy. I'm glad that you were able to help your wonderful companion. Thanks for sharing the story of Whisper.

Catlady - We do the best we can for our pets and, like much of life, sometimes it isn't enough but veterinary medicine has gone a bit far now so don't feel bad if you don't give your cat cancer treatments or some such. Hubby's dog had something we were pretty sure was cancer after several trips to the vet and, finally, an X-ray. They said we could take him to Stanford for cancer treatment but we said "Hey, let's keep him comfortable and when it is his time, we'll be back." It was sad and he was such a pretty dog. He was an English Setter. But we knew that 10 years old was senior citizen for a dog of that breed and that we should allow him to live with dignity in his old age and not subject him to a bunch of treatments.

Awsum - Pretty funny about the doxies. People do their animals no favors when they spoil them and allow them to get fat, especially long, low slung dogs like doxies. Penny is on a strict diet due to her long Corgi body and short legs:) Very funny story about your business partner and the dog walk:)

Wabbit - So glad you are getting some use out of my recipes. Nice. I need to make some juice today since I had a lot but I am starting to get low. I think I'll do 30ml of 555, 30 of 3 or 4 of the others so they can steep for awhile. WL is still behind. The poor dears were inundated the moment they opened back up!

Mark and Kon - Hope you are feeling better.

Raynes - How are your babies?

Joanne - How you doing today? Probably stiff and sore. Day Three always sucks.

SandySu - Great photos.

Today, I planned to go to this: "As some of you may have heard we will be holding a wine education class for our staff that will be lead by our extremely knowledgeable friend Annemarie Morse. Annemarie is the chair of the Finger Lakes Chapter of the American Wine Society, holds an MPS in Enology from Cornell University, and is a Certified Wine Judge for the American Wine Society. THis session will cover topics ranging from wine production and varietals, to terminology and proper wine service. For those of you who are 21 and above we will also have a blind taste test in which we will have you identify wine characteristics and make pairing recommendations. This is an unpaid session that we believe holds great benefit to all of us, and though it is highly encouraged that you attend, attendance is not mandatory. This class will be held February 17th from 2-4 PM in Robert Purcell CC (room location TBD). Please respond to this email if you plan to attend, and also let me know if you are 21 as you will be able to participate in the tasting portion of the event."

But it started to snow this morning, though the weather forecast says "up to an inch," which isn't a big deal. But it's piling up fast, and if it keeps up like this, it looks like more than an inch by the end of the day. I sure hope it slows down and I can still go. The wine seminar sounds interesting.

I put 2 little flower stickers on one of my volts....we will see how long they last. I'm afraid they will end up coming off. I think the bling is pretty, too, but.....we'll see.

If your volts have the matte finish, I would put a tiny dab of clear nail polish where you want the sticker to be then press down firmly for it to hold. I applied a shiny ring around the top of one of mine creating a border... sealing the ends in this manner. So far so good. I've cleaned the battery since that time using alcohol and it has firmly remained in place. If it comes off later, I will try again. I have so many stickers to choose from, the possibilities are endless.

Kon, dressage isn't a race -- it's not a competition of speed. But sometimes they do push a horse too much, no matter whether it's dressage or hunters or barrel racing or endurance. I think, though, that if you want to compete successfully at such a high level, you have to be very mindful of how you train the horse, and only the best trainers and riders will make it. The people who do it incorrectly will fail. Often, incorrect training means that the horse fails physically somehow, yet dressage horses compete to a fairly old age for such high-level competition. Maybe competition of any sort is more demanding than rail riding, and some people disapprove of how dressage horses are ridden for competition, but I really don't think it's as hard on a horse as many other places that horse could be, doing many other things that horses do for their people.
Well anyway you call it.
I DON'T CARE!
I simply don't like to see horses doing that.

Lizzie, I mixed up 15ml and 30ml batches of your tobacco base eight days ago. Just two more days before I can vape it and try some different little additives. The anticipation is killing me.

I hope you end up liking them:)

Let me know what youthink even if they end up not being your cup of tea. Also, let me know how your additives work out.

I just did the Virginia Fire cured {TFA] base with raisin added and I like it.
