I have hardly ever showed you pictures of my cat, Tom. Here's one that I got creative with and played with the color. Looks sort of Andy Warhol, I think. (See Pop Art - Smarthistory to see what I mean)

Interesting (to me, anyway) is that way back in my youth, I had a cookbook with his illustrations. I could hardly believe it, but it's true. See http://mashable.com/2012/08/06/andy-warhol-cookbook-drawings/ Hey! You can even still buy the cookbook (used, of course) from Amazon. Amy Vanderbilt's Complete Cookbook. Illustrated by Andy Warhol. From the personal files of America's foremost etiquette authority. A basic cookbook with easy to prepare recipes for both simple and festive meals. Hardcover 1961.: Amy Vanderbil

maybe im not reading it all correctly....but after the other day when you said...the poor amount of money your on...and how you only had a tomato to eat...I did wonder how you survive....so seeing your getting net, power, hot water....also you say access to animals, eggs, and many plants and fruits available..are you meaning when( needed ) you can get these things for free..?

Yeap!
Good morning debra.
The equipment is from pieces i found on the mountains mostly. Others were broken from projects on companies who broke up during installation i took them and repaired them. Access to food i have through my boss here who has a farm but on the village i have my uncle and aunt who have food storage and gardens.
I do not have a car etc etc. Most of the stuff i have for my network is free. My friend Sakis has also a house on my village and has a large garden there.
Surviving in tough situations might be a team work if needed.
The VX-8R... I bought this when i had a good salary around 2010, tried to sell it these days but i need to go pretty low so i figured i won't even bother selling it. Like my Oscilloscope, i bought it 7000 euros from HP on 2004 and i sold it to a kid for 250 euros 1 year a go. No one would buy it anyway. There is no need to spend money on equipment if you know where to find it and repair it.
If things are really bad i would go away from the city or stay at my bosses. He has solar panels but if i really need more i'll go to a mountain, destroy everything and get what i need, i won't even care.
Oh btw you can get fruits on any field here or from various plants and tree's here. There is also a law who says you can go to a farmers field and eat as much as you like if you are hungry but you can't take it with you. You can go eat a water melon for example but you can't take watermelons with you.

We Greeks always used most of the times natural food.
Fresh tomatoes from the garden or any vegetable which has the original OLD seeds, not the new seeds, they are mostly mutated by companies like monsanto etc.
No one buys organic or BIO stuff here (or at least not many people) simply because they are expensive (we leave that to nothern europeans) and as usual using the new mutated seeds. The original is always better.

The chicken came today again LOL but this time i was stalking. At first she stood on the fence looking around, then she went on the stored weed for the horses (she built a nest there) and sat down quietly and laid an egg. She's a fat one too lol.

You mean dandelion? I hear they are sour tasting and are better cooked than raw. Very nutritious, though.

They are other similar plants which can be boiled with these and they taste excellent. You can find then in every restaurant here or every home.
I could eat them all day! I am drooling now so,...

Today we didn't have work so we decided to fit new shoes on the horse i ride. Two on the front.
Anyone knows were we can find CHEAP spikes for the shoes? Seems they are pretty expensive on the market here an my boss looks for other sources.

Coffee is on. 30 degrees out and cloudy. I certainly hope this is a nicer day than yesterday since I want to finish up the repairs and improvements to the greenhouse today.

Sounds like you are eating and have somewhere to sleep, Kon. Plus, nice hobbies of electronic thingeys.

Well at least i have a plate of food and a roof. About the electronics i fortunatelly have my lab equipment (even if i sold for peanuts some stuff) and i am dismantling other devices to get parts. I used to create big and small things a few years back. Now only small stuff to keep me busy or else i'll go insane. (not that i'm not but i didn't completely lost it yet)

Why do you need spikes? Unless he's always walking on slippery ground, they grab too much and can cause injury on softer ground. But they do work well for ice. Then there's the kind eventers use so the horse doesn't slip in mud when he's galloping cross country. These screw into the shoes and are removed afterwards. What I liked best to deal with walking on ice (which is best avoided, no matter what's on the horse's feet) when Penny had shoes was borium-tipped nails in the shoes. These provide just enough grab without being extreme. They really do make a difference in traction. You can also blob borium on the surface of the shoes for added traction. The Amish do this because their horses trot on paved roads a lot. Here's one place to get the borium-head nails. Horseshoe Nails I don't know if this is the best bargain. Farriers usually have their own sources of supply, and they just come to the barn with what they need, so I never had to order stuff like this. Here are instructions on how to add borium or studs. Winter Shoes I hope this helps.

These horses ride sometimes on pieces of asphalt and MANY stones, or large pieces of roads on the mountains which are solid stone.
i think he used nails with spikes sometime but they were more expensive and now he makes holes on the shoes and puts hard metal spikes in them. They do work fine.
I saw the Borium nails here too Horseshoe Nails and wondering why are they so damn expensive. Are they really that hard? (now i see we were looking at the same site).

Well, in that case, if he can't find spikes, maybe blobbing borium onto the surface of the shoes would work. That's what the Amish mainly do. You could probably get that locally, which might be cheaper.
